Locational Characteristics of Knowledge Service Industry and Related Employment Opportunity Estimation in the Seoul Metropolitan Area (서울대도시권 지식서비스산업의 입지적 특성과 관련 업종별 고용기회 예측)

  • This study analyzes the spatial characteristics of knowledge industry which has shown relatively rapid growth in the low-growth economy situation in recent years. In particular, we catch hold of the locational characteristics of the knowledge service industry which occupies the highest ratio by professional-expert jobs favoured by young generations, as well as estimate their occupational employment opportunities. By applying Location Quotient(LQ) and LISA, we reveal the spatial distribution patterns of publishing business, information service business and education service business in the Seoul Metropolitan area, and examine the changes in the spatial patterns during the last ten years. In order to understand the socio-economic factors which explain their locations, we apply the stepwise multiple regression analysis. Furthermore, we predict the changes distribution of Knowledge service industrial employment by applying Markov Chain Model. As the result, we found their clusters at the specific locations, while there is the significant variations in the socio-economic variables related their locations respectively. The related job opportunities of the knowledge service businesses in the Seoul Metropolitan area are predicted steady growth trend for the next four years, even though dull or stagnant trend is expected for other industries. This study provides basic resources to the planning for young generation employment problem.

  • 본(本) 연구(硏究)는 자본구조이론과 전통적 연구에서 제시된 변수를 통합하고 횡단면(橫斷面) 요인(要因)과 시계열(時系列) 요인(要因)을 결합하여 우리나라의 자본구조결정 요인을 식별할 수 있는 이론적(理論的) 모형(模型)을 제시하여, 또한 제시된 모형을 한국증권시장(韓國證券市場)의 자료(資料)를 이용하여 실증적(實證的)으로 분석(分析)하였다. 그리고 실증적 분석에는 횡단면(橫斷面) 자료(資料)와 시계열(時系列) 자료(資料)를 결합하는 패널자료추정법(資料推定法)을 사용하였다. 본(本) 연구(硏究)에서 제시된 자본구조이론(資本構造理論)과 관련된 결정 요인으로는 기업(企業)의 성장기(成長機)을, 내부주주(內部株主)의 지분율(持分率) 그리고 내부주주수(內部株主數)의 비율 등을, 전통적 횡단면 요인으로는 경영위험(經營危險), 자산구성(資産構成), 수익성(收益性), 기업규모(企業規模) 등을, 그리고 전통적 시계열 요인으로는 법인세율(法人稅率)과 물가수준(物價水準) 등을 제시하였다. 본(本) 연구(硏究)에서 다루는 실증분석기간은 1981년 1월부터 1990년 12월까지의 10년간이었으며, 추출된 표본기업(標本企業)의 수(數)는 104개사이다. 실증적 분석결과, 본(本) 연구(硏究)에서 제시된 설명변수들이 자본구조(資本構造)의 변동(變動)을 49.91%정도 설명하고 있으며 설명변수 중 기업(企業)의 성장기회(成長機會), 내부주주(內部株主)의 지분을, 경영위험(經營危險), 수익성(收益性), 기업규모(企業規模), 물가수준(物價水準) 등은 자본구조의 결정 요인으로 통계적인 의미를 갖는 변수로 밝혀졌으며 회귀계수(回歸係數)의 부호도 기대하였던 바와 일치하고 있다. 질산으로 처리된 것이 컸고 0.75 M과 1.0 M의 질산을 사용했을 때는 작음이 확인되었다. 이상의 실험결과들로부터 친수성인 $NH_4Y$형 제올라이트를 소수성의 것으로 변환시키기 위한 수증기의 온도는 $500^{\circ}C$$600^{\circ}C$가, 그리고 질산의 농도는 0.5 M이 적합한 것으로 결론지을 수 있고, 이와 같은 결론은 BET비표면적과 TPV값과 같은 경향을 보인 벤젠과 톨루엔의 흡착용량측정결과로 입증되었다. 탈알루미늄된 제올라이트들의 수분에 대한 Si/Al비와 흡착용량은 각각 높은 농도의 질산으로 처리된 것일수록 증가하고 감소하여 소수성이 증가함을 나타내었다.(不適合性)이 나타났다. 본 연구는 기존의 기대수익률(期待收益率) 위주의 요일효과(曜日效果) 분석에서 주식수익률(株式收益率)의 분산(分散) 즉, 변동성(變動性)에 촛점을 두어 분석하였으며, 이는 투자자의 정확한 위험측정(危險測定)수단의 제공이라는 면에서 의의(意義)가 있을 것으로 생각된다.據金) 운용(運用)에 관한 정책수립시(政策樹立時) 금융선진국(金融先進國)의 증거금(證據金) 정책운용(政策運用)을 통한 시장관리(市場管理) 경험(經驗)을 어느 정도 참고할 수 있음을 시사한다고 할 것이다. 한다. 실증분석결과는 본문의 <표 1>에 제시되어 있으며 그 내용을 간략하게 요약하면 다음과 같다.   • It has been reported that the inhibition effect of pH on activated sludge follows noncompetitive inhibition kinetics. However. the noncompetitive inhibition kinetic equation can not be directly applied to pH inhibition because of the difficulty in quantification of pH in terms of inhibitor concentration. So, many empirical equations have been developed to describe the pH inhibition effect especially for acidic condition. In this research. the pseudo toxic concentration ($C_{PT}$) concept model to quantify pH inhibition effect on activated sludge was proposed and compared to other existing models. The $C_{PT}$ concept model can explain the reduction of the maximum specific growth rate (${\mu}_{max}$) caused by the pH inhibition more accurately than any other models, at a wide range of pH. The only model parameter. $K_I$ can be easily estimated by Lineweaver-Burk linearization method.

Study on Sludge Reduction by Sludge Solubilization and Change of Operation Conditions of Sewage Treatment Process (하수슬러지 가용화와 하수처리 운전조건 개선을 통한 하수슬러지 발생저감 연구)

  • In order to find the way to solve the problem of sewage sludge discharge into the ocean, the sludge solubilization by ultrasonic and the improvement methods of wastewater treatment process were studied. In the membrane bioreactor the sludge retention time was stepwise increased from 5.1 day to 442 days where the biomass average concentration has been increased from $c_B$=3.4 $gTSSL^{-1}$ to $c_B$=14.5 $gTSSL^{-1}$ respectively. At the same time, the biomass yield coefficients were reduced from 0.5-0.7 at SRT=5.1 day to 0.005-0.007 at SRT=442 days which means the reduction of sludge production. Oxygen mass transfer coefficients and ${\alpha}$-factor were investigated with changing stirrer speed to find the relation between the high biomass concentration and aeration efficiency in the propeller loop reactor. As a result of sludge solubilization, the solubilization of sludge by ultrasound was increased with increasing energy input and it led to improved anaerobic digestion rate with more biogas production than that of nonsolubilized sewage sludge.

  • $Bi_2Te_3$계 열전재료는 200~400K 정도의 저온에서 네어지 변환효율이 가장 높은 재료로써 열전냉각, 바런재로 등에 응요하기 위하여ㅠ 제조법 및 특서에 관한 많은 연구가 진행되어 왔다. $Bi_2Te_3$계 화합물은 rhombohedral의 결정 구조를 가지는 층상 화 ;물로 결정대칭성으로 인해 연전기적으로 큰 이방성을 나타낸다. 현재는 일반향용고법에 의해서 입자를 a축 방향으로 성장시켜 큰 결정립을 가진 다결정재료를 사용하고 있으나, c면이 매우 취약하기 때문에 가공서이 나쁘다. 따라서 이와같은 단점을 개선하기 위하여 기계적 강도를 높일 수 있는 가공공정 및 합금설계에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 측히 열간 압출법으로 제조된 열전재료는 결정립의 미세화와 높은 이방성으로 성능지수와 기계적 강도를 향상시킬 수 있다는 연구결과가 보고되고 있다 또한 Schultz드의 연구결과에 의하면 $Bi_2Te_3$ 계 열전재료는 소성변형에 의하여 발생한 점결함에 의하여 캐리어 농도가 변화되며 이로 인하여 재료의 전기적 성질이 결정된다고 하였다. 따라서 상당히 큰 소성가공량과 열전측성과의 관계를 규명하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 압출변수 중 소성가공량에 중요한 변수로 작요아는 압출비를 변화시켜 최적의 열간 소성가공량을 검토하고, 이에 따른 열전측성과 압출비와의 상관관계에 대하여 연구하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구에 사용된 N형의 조성은$Bi_2Te_{2.75}Se_{0.15}$로서 순도 99.99를 사용하였고, dopant로 0.1wt%의 $SbI_3$를 사용하였다. $Bi_2Te_{2.75}Se_{0.15}$ 분말은 가스분사법(Gas atomization Process)를 이용하여, 용탕제조시 아르곤가스로 산화를 방지하였고, 냉매로는 질소가스를 이용하였다. 제조된 분말을 기ㅖ적 분급법을 이용하여 분급하였고, 냉매로는 질소가스를 이용하였다. 제조된 분말을 기계적 분급ㅂ법을 이용하여 분급하였고, 압출에 이용된 분말은 250$\mu\textrm{m}$이하의 크기를 사용하였다. 또한 분말제조과정 중 형성되는 표면산화층을 제거하기 위하여 36$0^{\circ}C$에서 4시간동안 수소 환원처리를 행하였다. 제조된 분말은 열간 압출을 위하여 Aㅣcan에 넣고 냉간성형체를 만들고, 진공처리를 한 후 밀봉하여 탈가스처리를 하였다. 압출다이는 압출비가 각각 28:1과 16:1인 평다이(9$0^{\circ}C$)를 사용하여 각각 내경이 9, 12cm이고, 길이가 50, 30cm인 압출재를 제조하였다. 열간압출한 후의 미세조직을 광학현미경으로 압출방향에 평행한 방향과 수직방향으로 관찰하였고, 열간 압출재 이방성을 검토하기 위하여 X선 회절분석을 실실하여 결정방위를 확인하였다. 전기 비저항 및 Seebeck 계수 측정을 위하여 각각 2$\times$2$\times$10$mm^3$ 그리고 5$\times$5$\times$10$mm^3$ 크기의 시편을 준비하였다.준비하였다.

A Study on Anxiety-Depression in College Freshmen (신불안.우울척도에 의한 대학 신입생의 정신건강 평가)

  • The authors studied anxiety-depression using New Anxiety-Depression Scale(NADS), in the subjects of 3,499male and 1,335 female college freshmen of Yeungnam University. The authors collected the reports of NADS during the periods from January to February, 1986, and applied ANOVA and t-test on anxiety-depression scores in order to compare them between various psychosocial factors, and sexs. The results are as follows : There was significant difference in the mean awerages of total scores between male and female students: male students scored $31.49{\pm}6.57$ female students scored $33.37{\pm}6.84$ (P<0.001) The anxiety-depression scores relating to the items of sleep disturbance, apprehension, decreased libido and fatigue were relatively higher in both groups. Ninety-nine male students(2.8%) showed seriously high degree anxiety-depression scores of 50 or higher, while forty female students(3.0%) showed the same scores. There was a strong tendency toward higher anxiety-depression scores in the students who were dissatisfied with their home atmosphere, colleges, departments and familiarity of parents, and those who had pessimistic views of self image in the past, present, or fartare in both groups (P<0.001) The students whose maturation locations were below city level, showed higher level of anxiety-depression scores in both groups (P<0.05) NADS and SAS, SDS, and Leeds scale were correlated significantly in 0.64, 0.61, and 0.77 of correlation coefficient.

Effect of Microsparged Aeration on Oxygen Transfer Rate and Cell Viability in Mammalian Cell Culture Bioreactor (동물 세포 반응기에서의 초미세 통기법이 산소 전달 속도와 세포 생존율에 미치는 영향)

  • The effect of microsparged aeration in mammalian cell bioreactor on the oxygen transfer rate and cell viability was studied. The microspargers with differ- ent micron-sized pores were used to supply oxygen to the medium. The oxygen transfer coefficients (k$_{L}$a) measured in the bioreactor were markedly increased, which is due to the increase of the contacting area between air bubbles and liquid medium when the pore size of microsparger decreases. When the impellers of two different types (square-pitch marine impeller and $45^{\circ}$ pitched flat blade impeller) were used for agitation, the k$_{L}$a values were slightly higher with the marine impeller than with the blade impeller. The detrimental effect of direct gas sparging with microsparger on mammalian cells was investigated in bubble columns with various air flow rates and different pore sized microspargers. The first-order cell death rate constant ($k_{d}$ /7) was shown to be directly proportional to the air flow rate and inversely proportional to the pore size. During the cultivation of hybridoma cells using microsparger with the pore size of $0.57\mu$m in the mammalian cell culture bioreactor, the continuous sparging caused the cell death and suppressed the cell growth. However, cells grew normally and cell viability was maintained above 90% in the logarithmic phase when the air was intermittently sparked in order to maintain the dissolved oxygen level above 20%.

  • Recently, the offshore wind power generator market is expected to grow significantly because of increased energy demand, reduced dependence on fossil fuel-based power generation, and environmental regulations. Consequently, wind power generation is increasing worldwide, and several attempts have been made to utilize offshore wind power. Norway's Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) requires a leg-structure design with a collision energy of 35 MJ owing to the event of a collision under operation conditions. In this study, the results of the numerical analysis of a wind turbine installation vessel subjected to ship collision were set such that the maximum collision energy that the leg could sustain was calculated and compared with the PSA requirements. The current leg design plan does not satisfy the required value of 35 MJ, and it is necessary to increase the section modulus by more than 200 % to satisfy the regulations, which is unfeasible in realistic leg design. Therefore, a collision energy standard based on a reasonable collision scenario should be established.

Molecular Cloning and Characterization of myo-Inositol Dehydrogenase from Enterobacter sp. YB-46 (Enterobacter sp. YB-46의 myo-Inositol dehydrogenase 유전자 클로닝과 특성분석)

  • A bacterial strain capable of metabolizing myo-inositol (MI) and converting to other substances was isolated from soil of orchard. The isolate, named YB-46, was grown on minimal medium supplemented with MI as the sole carbon source and was presumed to belonging to genus Enterobacter according to the 16S rDNA sequence. Escherichia coli transformant converting MI into unknown metabolites was selected from a metagenomic library prepared with fosmid pCC1FOS vector. Plasmid was isolated from the transformant, and the inserted gene was partially sequenced. From the nucleotide sequence, an iolG gene was identified to encode myo-inositol dehydrogenase (IolG) consisting of 336 amino residues. The IolG showed amino acid sequence similarity of about 50% with IolG of Enterobacter aerogenes and Bacillus subtilis. The His-tagged IolG (HtIolG) fused with hexahistidine at C-terminus was produced and purified from cell extract of recombinant E. coli. The purified HtIolG showed maximal activity at $45^{\circ}C$ and pH 10.5 with the highest activity for MI and D-glucose, and more than 90% of maximal activity for D-chiro-inositol, D-mannitol and D-xylose. $K_m$ and $V_{max}$ values of the HtIolG for MI were 1.83 mM and $0.724{\mu}mol/min/mg$ under the optimal reaction condition, respectively. The activity of HtIolG was increased 1.7 folds by $Zn^{2+}$, but was significantly inhibited by $Co^{2+}$ and SDS.

Estimation of Acidic Wastewater Toxicity on the Activated Sludge (활성슬러지에 미치는 산폐수의 독성도 예측)

  • Respiration rate should be a reasonable state variable for the activated sludge and could be used to simulate the performance of the activated sludge process. Toxic materials are classified into three groups, competitive, noncompetitive and uncompetitive. They increase/decrease the half saturation coefficient or specific growth rate. that means decreasing of the substrate removal capacity. In this research, a pilot-scale activated sludge process was operated under extended aeration method, and a representative noncompetitive inhibitor, acidic wastewater was applied to establish a respirometry-based toxicity model. Using this model. the correlation coefficient between measured and calculated respiration rate was 0.96 when acidic wastewater(pH 3.9~5.5) was introduced continuously to the aeration tank. Even though respiration rate was decreased by toxic effect of acidic wastewater, effluent substrate concentration represented to COD was deteriorated just a little bit. It might be caused by the low ratio of readily biodegradable substrate in the input substrate. Reduction of respiration rate by decreasing of input substrate concentration was much lower than that by acidic wastewater, and hence it was estimated that the possibility of false toxic alarm caused by decreasing of substrate concentration should be low.
