지난봄 국내에 처음 도입된 스코딕스가 올해만 벌써 4대째 설치됐다. 타인과 차별화를 이루려는 고객의 요구와 고부가가치 작업을 통해 새로운 성장 동력을 찾으려는 인쇄인의 요구가 만난 결과다. 최근 2대가 설치되며 스코픽스의 한국시장 '붐업' 가능성을 보여준 부산을 찾아 그 가능성을 확인했다.

최근 중국경제의 위기 가능성을 지적하는 목소리가 커지고 있다. 중국이 여러가지 취약점을 안고 있는 것은 사실이나 이들이 경제 및 체제위기로 발전할 가능성은 높지 않다. 중국은 수출과 내수의 적절한 균형을 통해 상당기간 안정적인 성장을 지속할 수 있을것으로 보인다.

The number of calling ports has been decreased and the degree of inter- and intra-port competition has been increased, which is caused by the market trends that shipping liners have and operate their own terminals, strategic M & A frequency occurs among shipping liners, and container vessel size is increasing. The trends also cause shipping liners to change the evaluation factors for decision to call a particular port such as port preference, potential for growth, port competitiveness, etc. Since the decision of liners greatly influences the policies for port and terminal development, it is worth having interest in the evaluation factors. Therefore, this work intended to evaluate 8 major ports (Port of Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Busan, Rotterdam, Kaoshing, and Tokyo) with regard to liners' evaluation factors (calling port preference, potential for growth and port competitiveness) and to classify ports by similarity of evaluation factors with the methodologies of ANOVA analysis and Duncan test. The result shows implication for liners' viewpoint to evaluate major ports in the world.

The development of large area GaN substrates is one of important issues in expanding of GaN-based applications. In order to investigate the possibility, GaN thick films were grown by a sublimation technique, using MOCVD-GaN films grown on a sapphire as a seed-crystal substrate and a commercial GaN powder as a source material. The pressure in chamber under the fixed flow rate of $N_2$ gas and $NH_3$ gas was kept at 1 atmosphere and the effects of the various processing parameters such as the distance between source material and seed crystal, the temperature of top- and bottom heater and the growth time during the growth of GaN thick film were investigated. The growth feature and microstructure of the GaN thick films were observed by SEM and XRD. The optical bandgap properties and the defects were evaluated by the PL measurement. By these results, the growth conditions such as the distance between the GaN source and the seed substrate, the growth temperature and the growth time were determined for the satisfied growth of GaN thick films.

This study presents an efficient strategy for selecting portfolio by evaluating growth potential of a corporation based on dividend. Through preliminary experiments, we extract 4 categories to sort out prospective stocks and develop a scoring table including criteria and formulas used to calculate scores for each category. In order to show the effectiveness of the portfolio selected by scoring table, we constructed 3 portfolios for every 4 years (2007-2010) out of 927 listed companies in KRX and proved that our portfolios are superior to market portfolio in terms of rate of return.

"전자지불산업의 성장은 전체 인터넷 업계와 매우 밀접한 관계가 있습니다. 전자지불업체 혼자 성공할 수 없습니다. 전자지불업체는 인터넷기업의 성공이 선행되어야만 하는 공생의 관계인 셈입니다. 최근 일부 정보통신 기업과 인터넷 기업의 부정한 사업형태가 IT 시장의 물을 흐리긴 했지만 여전히 IT산업은 미래를 거는 성장 산업임에 틀림없습니다." 이니시스 김도균 사장은 전자지불업계 전망에 대해서 아직 샴페인을 터뜨리기에는 시기상조지만, 무한한 성장가능성을 보여주고 있다고 말했다. 이니시스가 전자지불서비스를 시작한 1988년도는 국내 전자상거래 시장이 아직 활성화되지 못한 초기시장으로써 국내에서는 전자지불서비스라는 개념도 아직 형성되지 않은 시기였다. 이니시스는 전자지불서비스라는 새로운 분야의 시장영역을 만들어 가면서 비즈니스를 창출한 선도자 역할을 수행해왔다고 할 수 있다.

이 연구에서는, 열수화법을 사용하여 ZnO 나노막대를성장 온도와 성장 농도를 변화하여 그 효과에 대해서 조사하였다. Zn 화합물의 농도는 0.02 M~0.08 M 로 변화를 주었고, 성장 온도는 $60{\sim}80^{\circ}C$ 로 유지하였다. 우리는 SEM 으로 부터 성장 온도가 증가할 때에 수직으로 더 빨리 자라는 것을 확인하였고, 성장 농도가 증가할 때에 diameter가 증가하는것을 확인 할 수가 있었다. 성장 속도에 농도와 온도가 매우 큰 영향을 주는 것을 확인을 할 수 가있었다. 또한, Photoluminescence (PL) 로부터 성장 온도가 $80^{\circ}C$ 이고, 0.08 M 에서 UV emission 이 가장 강하게 나타 났으며, 가장 좋은 결정질을확인 하였다. 그러므로, ZnO 나노 막대의 직경과 길이를두 성장 변수롤 통하여 제어가 가능 하게 되었다. 또한, ZnO 나노 막대를 저온에서 성장 할 수 있어 투명 플렉서블 소자에 적용이 될 가능성을 보였다.

인구 12억의 무한한 잠재력, 지난 78년 말 개혁개방 이후 연평균 10${\%}$ 이상의 고도성장. 여기에 2015년까지 연평균 $7~8{\%}$이상의 안정적 성장이 예상되고 2008년 올림픽 경제특수까지 기대되는 기회의 땅, 중국. 한편으로는 기회만큼의 위협의 대상이 되는 중국 경제 성장에 있어 과연 자판기 산업의 가능성은 어느 정도로 볼 수 있을 까. 이제 자판기 산업이 태동기에서 성장기 단계로 넘어가는 문턱에 있다 할 수 있는 중국 자판기 시장을 바라보는 국내 산업계의 시각은 다분히 양분적이다. 장밋빛 환상 가득한 가능성의 시장으로서 보는 시각과, 한편으로서는 실체 없이 리스크만 가득해 조심스러운 접근이 필요한 시장으로의 시각이 교차한다. 그래서 어찌 보면 환상과 현실사이에서 갈피를 잡기 힘든 시장이 중국 자판기 시장이라 할 수 있다. 이러한 중국시장을 제대로 보고, 가능성 가득 찬 시장을 만드는 주체로서의 역할을 이제 국내 산업계가 해야할 시점이다. 하드웨어적 기반을 갖추어 가고 있는 중국시장에 있어 우리의 24년 산업 노하우는 세계 어느 나라 못지않은 경쟁력을 가질 수 있다는 점에서 벤처적인 도전 정신 역시 한껏 고양될 필요가 있다. 이러한 중국시장을 제대로 보고자 본지에서는 지난 5월 22일부터 24일까지 중국 상해에서 개최된 Vending Asia 2002 전시회를 찾았다. 비록 'SIAL China 2002', `PackTech&Food Tech China 2002` 전시회와 병행 개최된 작은 규모의 전시회에 불과했지만 그래도 미지의 중국 시장에 대한 정보갈증을 풀어준 의미 있는 전시회였다. 금호에서는 이번 전시회 취재를 통해 중국시장의 현황에 대해보고 느낀 리포트를 준비했다. 아울러 중국 자판 산업을 국내 업체들은 어떻게 바라보고 시장공략을 진행해야 할지, 그 환상과 현실 속의 거대한 중국시장으로 독자 여러 분을 안내 한다.
