  • 본 연구에서는 자원에의 접근성 측면에서 성인 학습자들의 학습 효율성을 제고하기 위하여 학습자들의 교수-학습 방법, 학습속도, 학습능력, 학습여건 등 개인차가 다른 학습자들에게 다양한 학습선택권을 충분히 보장할 수 있는 e-learning 환경에 대한 고찰과 성인학습이론을 기반으로 성인학습자의 특성에 적합한 교수-학습 전략을 제안 하고자 한다.

Influence of Core Competencies of Lifelong Educators on the Lifetime Ability of Adult Learners: Focusing on Mediating Effect of Adult Learners' Wisdom (평생교육자의 핵심역량이 성인학습자의 생애능력에 미치는 영향: 성인학습자 지혜의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the impact of lifelong educators' core competencies as a mediating effect on adult learners' ability to function. The subject of this study was aimed at adult learners participating in lifelong education programs at lifelong educational institutions located in Gyeonggi Province. and was finally used for a total of 520 additional analyses. The main findings of this study are as follows: first, regarding the correlation between the core competence of lifelong educators and the life ability of adult learners, core competence has a static association with wisdom. In addition, wisdom has a high static association with life expectancy. Second, the core competence and wisdom of lifelong educators were found to have a significant static impact on adult learners' life abilities, accounting for 66.8%. Specifically, the most significant predictors of life's ability were creative problem solving, consideration for others, and acceptance of change, which were lower factors of wisdom. Third, the impact of a lifetime educator's core competence on adult learners is not significant. It was found that core competence has an indirect influence on life capacity through the mediating effect of wisdom, and that wisdom has directly interfaced the relationship between core competence and life ability. Taken together, these results proved that the core competence and wisdom of a lifelong educator are important variables for adult learner's life abilities. Based on this, the core competence of lifelong educators being taught in the field of lifelong education should be enhanced, and the ability of adult learners to utilize the wisdom that has been developed through the experiences of adult learners, to improve their life skills.

A study of adult learners in the Lifelong Learning happiness (성인학습자의 평생학습 행복지수에 관한 연구)

  • This study examined the mediating effects of the adult educator's characteristics on the relationship between the characteristics of the participants attending adult continuing education and the happiness index of lifelong learning, the motivation of participating in learning and the institution characteristics. The research results showed that there is no difference in the happiness index of lifelong learning according to the sex of the adult learners, education level, age, residence, participation experience of lifelong learning, occupation, and type of lifelong programming being participated. The characteristics of adult learners do not have a direct impact on the happiness index of lifelong learning. The characteristics of adult learners affect the characteristics of adult educators, motivation of participating in learning and institution characteristics. Although the characteristics of educators do not affect the happiness index of lifelong learning, the motivation of participating in learning and institution characteristics have a positive impact on the happiness index of lifelong learning. While the characteristics of adult educators do not have a mediating role for the characteristics of adult learners and happiness index of lifelong learning, the motivation of participating in learning and institution characteristics have shown a complete mediation for the characteristics of adult learners and the happiness index of lifelong learning. These findings suggest that the participating motivation of adult learners, adult educator's improved understanding on adult learners and education quality of education institution are very important for increasing the happiness index through a lifelong learning experience.

Analysis of Factors for Adult Female Learners' Dropout in e-Learning (성인여성 대상 전자교육에서의 학습자 중도탈락 요인 분석)

  • 이 연구는 전자교육에서 성인여성 학습자를 중도탈락에 이르게 하는 요인을 도출하고, 이 중에서 가장 큰 영향을 주는 요인을 찾음으로써, 궁극적으로는 수료율을 제고하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해, 선행연구 분석을 통해 도출된 9가지 요인 중 어떤 요인이 중도탈락에 영향을 미치고, 그 영향력은 얼마인지 알아보기 위해 16개의 설문문항을 구성하여 K 기관의 교육생을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 전자교육에서 성인여성 학습자의 중도탈락에 영향을 주는 요인은 결혼 여부, 내적 동기, 교육기관의 지원, 가사와 육아, 학습가능 시간 등 5가지로, 내적 동기, 학습가능 시간, 결혼 여부, 교육기관의 지원, 가사와 육아 순으로 중도탈락에 대한 영향을 미쳤다. 즉, 학습진행 시 내적 동기의 만족도가 높을수록, 학습 시간의 부담이 적을수록, 미혼이며, 교육기관의 지원에 만족도가 높을수록, 또 가사와 육아에 부담이 적을수록 수료를 할 가능성이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 토대로 전자교육에서 성인여성 학습자의 수료율을 제고하기 위해서는 성인여성을 대상으로 한 전자교육 과정 운영 시 결혼 여부, 내적 동기, 교육기관의 지원, 가사와 육아, 학습가능 시간의 요인을 고려해야하며, 그 중 결혼 여부, 가사와 육아부담 등의 여성학습자의 일반적인 특성에 따른 중도탈락을 줄이기 위해서는 교육기관의 역할이 중요하다. 또한, 성인여성 학습자의 중도탈락에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 내적 동기 향상을 위해 과정설계 시 여성학습자 위주의 맞춤형 교수설계전략을 세우는 것이 중요하다. 성인여성 대상 전자교육에서의 학습자 중도탈락 요인들의 인과관계 및 그에 따른 영향력을 분석하는 연구를 통해 도출된 결과를 바탕으로 성인여성 학습자의 중도탈락을 줄일 수 있는 실증적인 방법론에 대한 연구를 통해 중도탈락률을 줄이는 것은 물론, 학업성취도 및 만족도를 높이고 나아가서는 여성의 사회진출을 도울 수 있는 연구가 필요하다.

The acquisition effect by measurement periods of adult learners learned through English pattern practice (영어 패턴 연습을 활용한 성인 학습자의 측정 시기별 습득 효과)

  • This study was carried out to find out the acquisition effect by measurement periods of adult learners learning through English pattern practice. The subjects of this study were divided into adult learner groups including the learners in their 40s and those who were over 65 and the child group who were 8 years old as a comparative group. After the subjects had a pre-test at first, person agreement and tense were instructed though English pattern practice and right after that, they had a post-test. Then 4 weeks later, they had a delayed test. As a result, the acquisition result of adult learners learning though English pattern practice showed the largest rise by those in their 40s and the learners of those over 65. However the adult learners aged over 65 showed the largest drop in delayed test of the reading comprehension. Based on these results, it is necessary to develop teaching method for adult learners in consideration of their characters and weak points.

  • 본 연구는 성인학습자를 대상으로 효과적인 비대면 수업방법에 대한 개선점을 모색하여 교수자의 수업역량 향상에 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 PBL(문제중심수업) 교수법을 기초로 4주차 수업을 설계하고 웹엑스(Webex)를 활용한 교수법을 49명의 학생에게 적용하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고연령 성인학습자를 대상으로 디지털기기 활용법에 대한 사전 숙지가 필요하며, 둘째, 팀활동을 위한 웹엑스 세션별 수업은 강의실 수업에서 수동적인 학생들의 적극적인 수업참여를 이끌었고, 셋째, PBL(문제중심수업) 수업 방식은 비대면 수업에서도 학생주도의 수업을 이끌어 내고 활발한 상호작용을 통해 학생들의 문제 해결과 실천역량을 향상시킬 수 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과는 성인학습자를 대상으로 한 교수자의 비대면 수업 교수법에 기초적인 자료가 될 것이다.

  • Lifelong education is a periodic keyword. For a lifelong learner friendly education, university should provide the adult learners with the efficient academic administrative service. A university should support them in learning a series of graded lifelong study and come up with the convenience of continuous learning, maintaining the educational operation as a lifelong education university. A local government induces the regional economy reinvigoration from setting the lifelong learning conditions of the city. In this paper, I suggest a policy management scheme for opening training courses of 3D printing and CAD professionals training module as a non-degree reeducation programs for the lifelong learners that reflects the industrial milieu of the local community.

  • The purpose of this study was to empirically analyze the motivation of university lifelong education and the factors that are important in selecting it. In the motivation for participation of adult learners, learning new knowledge and skills in the first place and learning new things in the second place were good, so that they could learn together in the third place. Active school investment in faculty and staff will be needed to increase program diversity and quality through professionalism. Adult learners are getting information from the system they are interacting with, and furthermore, they learn the information from the public relations of university professors. Since they are acquiring paths and information through acquaintances, it is necessary to continuously promote the curriculum to unspecified adult learners. Advertisement should take advantage of various convergence strategies such as hanging banners in the area, publicity of the subway, local newspapers, word of mouth, SNS, and the Internet.

The Impact of Entrepreneurship Education on Entrepreneurial Intentions and Entrepreneurial Behavior of Continuing Education Enrolled Students in University: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Self-efficacy (창업교육이 성인학습자의 창업의지와 창업행동에 미치는 영향: 자기효능감 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • As getting in 4th Industrial Revolution Times, Continuing Education Enrolled Students(CEES) trying to find loophole for jepordized current life and need job transfer have surged their interest significantly on starting new business to bring up their post career after retirement through self-improvement. Government and university have actively initiated diverse policies of promoting startup for CEES in kicking off entrepreneurship courses and programs. However, relevant main policy, 'The 2nd University Startup Education Five-Year Plan (draft)' have too chiefly focused on theoretical start-up education rather than practical courses, causing the problem of inappropriate support for implementing real startup and business (Ministry of Education, 2018). This study is brought to empirically investigate the effect of self-efficacy as perspective of the impact of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intention and behavior to come up with problem of poor entrepreneurial environment and entrepreneurship education to CEES. As to empirical research, this paper deliver on-line survey to CEES from September to October 2022, collect 207 effective feedbacks, In order to verify the reliability of the scale, the Cronbach's Alpha Coefficient (Cronbach's α) was calculated, analyzed, and measured. For hypothesis test, this paper utilize the multiple regression analysis statistical analysis method and use the SPSS 22.0 statistical processing program. Empirical results show, first, it was found that self-efficacy had a significant effect on start-up education. Second, start-up education had a significant effect on the intention to start a business of adult learners. Third, start-up education had a significant effect on the start-up behavior of adult learners. Fourth, self-efficacy had a significant effect on the intention of adult learners to start a business. Fifth, self-efficacy had a significant effect on the start-up behavior of adult learners. Sixth, self-efficacy had a mediating effect in the relationship between entrepreneurship education and adult learners' intention to start a business. Seventh, self-efficacy had a complete mediating effect in the relationship between start-up education and adult learners' start-up behavior. This paper is brought three significant implications. First, main consideration developing entrepreneurship education tools for CEES need to falls on defining potential needs of CEES as segmenting as to coming up with diversity of CEES's characteristics such as gender, age, experience, education, and occupation. Second, as to design specific entrepreneurship education program, both practical training program of utilizing CEES's career field experience benchmarking best practice startup and venture cases from domestic and global, and professional startup program of CEES initiating directly startup from ideation to develop business plan with pitching and discussing. Third, entrepreneurship education for CEES should be designed to incubate self-efficacy to enhance entrepreneurial intention of implementing entrepreneurial behavior as a real, eventually leading solid support system of self-improvement for CEES' Retirement life planning.

  • 4차 산업혁명시대가 도래함에 따라 자동화, 인공지능 등의 도입으로 다수의 전통적인 일자리가 소멸되거나 변동성이 커지게 되면서 일자리 공급은 감소하고 새로운 기술과 아이디어로 재고용 또는 자기 고용 기회를 찾아야 하는 사회적 수요가 커지고 있다. 이러한 시대변화에 능동적으로 대처하고, 현재의 삶의 위기를 극복하기 위하여 직업전환을 꾀하거나 자기개발을 하기 위한 성인학습자들의 창업에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 이에 따라, 본 연구를 위하여 성인학습자 207명을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였으며, 본 연구는 창업교육이 성인학습자의 창업의지와 창업행동에 관한 연구를 자기효능감의 매개효과를 중심으로 진행하였다.
