본 연구의 목적은 중국의 북경과 상해에 거주하는 성인 여성의 체형을 각 거주 지역(북경ㆍ상해)의 연령대(20대, 30대, 40대)별 신체적 특성을 파악하는 것이다. 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 1. 중국 성인 여성의 각 거주 지역의 연령대별 신체 계측치를 비교한다. 2. 중국 성인 여성의 각 거주 지역의 연령대별 요인점수를 비교한다. 3. 중국 성인 여성의 각 거주 지역의 연령대별 유형의 분포 경향을 파악한다. 연구 방법은 중국 북경과 상해에 거주하는 20세에서 49세 성인 여성 578명을 대상으로 인체 계측하였다. (중략)

중성자별을 포함하는 이중성인 EXO 0331+350을 가시광선 및 자외선으로 관측하였다. EXO 0331+350은 전형적인 Be/X-선 이중성인 것처럼 보이지만 특이하게도 공전 주기상의 근일점 마다 매우 밝아지는 다른 Be/X-선 이중성들과는 확연히 다르게 밝아지는 시기가 매우 불규칙하다. 따라서 그 물리적인 기작을 연구하기 위해서는 오랜 기간의 모니터링이 필수적이다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze comparatively adult literacy surveys of UK, France and Germany who have developed their own adult literacy survey tools independently. The results of the study show that these three countries are similar in that all of them utilize literacy survey tools linked to their own adult literacy policies. The survey tools of the countries are based on the definition of adult literacy as functional literacy and everyday life skill. The criteria of adult literacy levels are differentiated in the context of the countries. And SQC model is adopted as the main model of developing the survey tools. Through this analysis, the following implications could be obtained to improve Korean adult literacy survey. It needs 1) to unify execution subjects of adult literacy survey and adult literacy policy. 2) to develop survey tools reflecting everyday life, 3) to make tools into module form, 4) to pursue the efficiency of cost and utilization of tools.

This study examined the mediating effects of the adult educator's characteristics on the relationship between the characteristics of the participants attending adult continuing education and the happiness index of lifelong learning, the motivation of participating in learning and the institution characteristics. The research results showed that there is no difference in the happiness index of lifelong learning according to the sex of the adult learners, education level, age, residence, participation experience of lifelong learning, occupation, and type of lifelong programming being participated. The characteristics of adult learners do not have a direct impact on the happiness index of lifelong learning. The characteristics of adult learners affect the characteristics of adult educators, motivation of participating in learning and institution characteristics. Although the characteristics of educators do not affect the happiness index of lifelong learning, the motivation of participating in learning and institution characteristics have a positive impact on the happiness index of lifelong learning. While the characteristics of adult educators do not have a mediating role for the characteristics of adult learners and happiness index of lifelong learning, the motivation of participating in learning and institution characteristics have shown a complete mediation for the characteristics of adult learners and the happiness index of lifelong learning. These findings suggest that the participating motivation of adult learners, adult educator's improved understanding on adult learners and education quality of education institution are very important for increasing the happiness index through a lifelong learning experience.

This study attempts to investigate the spatial characteristics of private tutoring markets for adults which have been expanded rapidly with labor market changes in Korea. In particular, For the purpose, we examine thoroughly various indies of labor markets and private tutoring markets for adults in Korea in first and then analyze the spatial characteristics. We classify private tutoring institutes for adults into two categories by job-statuses and education levels, and analyze the spatial distribution patterns of the attendants of the classes. In order to understand the spatial characteristic of their distributions, we distinguish whether there exist the spatial autocorrelation or not by applying Moran's I values for each categories in first. We also examine the spatial cluster patterns by Hot spots analysis utilizing $G^*$ statistics. Multiple linear regression models are developed for each category to explain the relationships between the spatial distributions of private tutoring institutes and geographical variables.

This study was carried out to find out the acquisition effect by measurement periods of adult learners learning through English pattern practice. The subjects of this study were divided into adult learner groups including the learners in their 40s and those who were over 65 and the child group who were 8 years old as a comparative group. After the subjects had a pre-test at first, person agreement and tense were instructed though English pattern practice and right after that, they had a post-test. Then 4 weeks later, they had a delayed test. As a result, the acquisition result of adult learners learning though English pattern practice showed the largest rise by those in their 40s and the learners of those over 65. However the adult learners aged over 65 showed the largest drop in delayed test of the reading comprehension. Based on these results, it is necessary to develop teaching method for adult learners in consideration of their characters and weak points.

The purpose of this study was to aid the case analysis and diagnosis of the maxillofacial deformities for orthognathic surgery. The applied method for analysis was a Cephalometries for Orthognathic Surgery(COGS) by Burstone. Lateral cephalograms were obtained from 59 subjects over 21 years old, that consisted of 30 males and 29 females with normal occlusion, acceptable profile. The results were as follows : 1. The author made the tables of means, standard deviations in each item, sex. 2. The author performed whether there was significance (P<0.05) between the registered male and female's measurement in each item.
