사과나무 흑성병 발생에 대하여 (The Prevalence of Apple Scab in Korea)

  • The outbreak of apple scab was found on the apple seedlings growing in Korea which were imported from Marylang, U.S.A. in 1972. Symptom of apple scab is much similar with pear scab caused by Venturia pirina except that the round spot on leaves, more lesions on upper side of leaves and much severe symptoms appeared on both side of leaves. About $14\%\; and \;12\%$ of plants were infected in 1972 and 1973, respectively.

  • 국제 표준화 기구인 ISO/IEC와 NIST(National Institute of Standards and Technology)에서는 정보 유출 방지 및 정보의 유효성 인증을 위해 다양한 암호 기법들을 표준으로 권고하고 있다. 그 중 NIST SP 800-38D에서 표준으로 권고된 GCM(Galois/Counter Mode) 인증 암호화 모드는 블록암호의 CTR 운영모드와 GHASH를 이용하여 메시지의 기밀성과 무결성을 동시에 제공하는 운영모드이다. 본 논문에서는 ARIA 블록암호 기반의 ARIA-GCM 프로세서를 Verilog HDL로 모델링 하고, Virtex5 FPGA로 구현하여 정상 동작함을 확인하였다. $0.18{\mu}m$ 공정의 CMOS 셀 라이브러리로 합성한 결과 20 MHz의 동작주파수에서 44,986 GE로 구현되었다.

  • A new control technique is proposed to reduce the distortion of UPS output voltage. The Load of UPS is rectifier which has many harmonics on its output current in many cases. The distortion of output voltage by the harmonics is repeated at the same position in one cycle. Therefore we can assume that the next cycle wave form would be similar to the previous one. The repeated error can be estimated and be compensated by the Multi controller at every sampling times.

  • We draw on well-established thinking in the complementary fields of organization theory and strategic management to develop a model explaining why fit among a firm's competitive strategy, its structure, and its technology is a prerequisite for superior performance. The contributions of this theoretical treatise are twofold. Firstly, it helps reduce the disconnect in thinking that exists between the strategy and organization-theory literatures on business-level issues. Secondly, it reveals the importance of managing the coalignment among strategy, structure, and technology which, in turn, forces recognition that competitive advantage does not exist in a static state but in a dynamic condition.

  • For the present study, three heat pipes with different thickness of sintered metal wick were manufactured, and their operational performances, such as capillary limit and thermal resistance were tested and compared with theoretical predictions. Experimental results showed good agreement with those by the theoretical model, and that seemed to present that the sintering process we had developed in the present study was valid.

  • This paper investigates the plate loop heat pipe system with an evaporator mounted with fin-wick structure to dissipate effectively the heat generated by the electronic components. The heat transfer formulation is modeled and predicted through thermal resistance analysis of the fin-wick structure in the evaporator. The experimental approach measures the thermal resistances and the operating characteristics. These results gathered in this investigation have been used to the objective of the information to improve the LHP system design so as to apply as the future cooling devices of the electronic components.

  • Laryngeal web는 Laryngeal cavity가 막양조직으로 협착된 것으로 Fleischman이 1822년 처음 보고하였으며, 상기도폐색을 이르켜 호흡과 발성장해의 원인이 된다. Laryngeal web는 선천적으로나 후천적으로 생길수 있는데 선천적으로는 핵생기에 있어서의 후두발육이상에 기인한 것이며, 후천적으로는 염증성, 외상성과 술후성등으로 생기는데 국소병변의 치료과정에서 반흔조직에 의한 만성협착에 기인한다. 발생빈도는 성대간 성문하 및 성문상의 순으로 성문상이 제일 드물게 발생한다. 저자들은 28세 남자에서 결핵성병변으로 생겼다고 믿어지는 성문상 및 성문에 동시에 생기고 후두구는 작은 구명으로 협착된 Laryngeal web에 대하여 Endolaryngeal microsurgery 로써 치험하였기에 문헌적 고찰을 더하여 보고하는 바이다.

  • This study was conducted to obtain the transformed birdsfoot trefoil (Lotus corniculatus L.) plants with BcHSP17.6 gene using Agrobacterium turnefaciens LBA4404 and we confirmed transformed gene from the regenerated birdsfoot trefoil plants. The expression vector, pBKH4 vector, harboring BcHSP17.6 gene was used for production of transgenic birdsfoot trefoil plants. The callus of birdsfoot trefoil was cocultivated with Agrobacteriurn turnefaciens and transformed calli were selected on kanamycin-containing SH-kc medium to regenerate into plants. The transformed birdsfoot trefoil plants were produced 4 momths after cultivation on BOi2Y medium. The transgenic birdsfoot trefoil plants were analyzed by isolation of genomic DNA and genomic Southern hybridization using a -32P labelled BcHSPl7.6 fragments. 우리나라 성병관리(性病管理)에 관(關)한 역학적(疫學的) 고찰(考察) (Epidemiological Consideration on Venereal Diseases Control in Korea)

  • It is recognized not only by the health experts but also by the public that venereal diseases are remarkably increasing in these days. Therefore, every available measure for declining of the diseases are planned and implemented through case-finding, diagnosis, treatment, education and research. The author intended to compare and analyse infection rates of venereal diseases between reporting from the Ministry of Health and author's private V.D. clinic during 1961-1971. The following results are obtained through the study: 1. According to the report of the Ministry of Health, 45.0% of total examinees were sick with gonorrhea and 6.5% with syphilis, in one hand, on the other hand 78.7% with gonorrhea and 16.3% with syphilis at the author's clinic. 2. By both the report of the ministry and author, highest infection rates were found in 1966-1968, and this fact was considered by the higher infection rate of G.I. in same years. 3. Contrarily, the lowest infection rates were found out in 1970-1971 through both reports.
