Impact of user evaluations of website attributes on recommendation intention for revitalizing B2B textile platform (B2B 섬유 플랫폼 활성화를 위한 웹사이트 평가속성이 추천의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examines options to revitalize a B2B textile trading platform, exploring user satisfaction and perceptions of the importance of several website features. Between June 8 and June 21, 2023, fashion studies majors and domestic fashion brand product planners were asked to use the website of an open B2B textile platform for 30 minutes and then evaluate its features by responding to a survey. The final sample for analysis wad comprised of 150 questionnaires. To analyze the key textile website features, a paired t-test, Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA), and multiple regression analysis were utilized. The analysis classified the key textile website features related to user importance and satisfaction into the following categories: convenience, appearance, product information, and uniqueness. An analysis investigation of the differences in importance and satisfaction for each website evaluation attribute found significant differences in 12 attributes. The IPA analysis revealed that attributes such as product reliability, quality, a convenient search function, and convenient page movement are highly important to users and garner high user satisfaction; these findings demonstrate the importance of maintaining these elements. Images on the main screen, the latest trend information, and product prominence attributes also garner high importance ratings, but result in low user satisfaction, which signifies extensive revision is required. Finally, user evaluation of the convenience, appearance, and product information of the website was found to affect user recommendation intention.

A Study on the implementation of the drape generation model using textile drape image (섬유 드레이프 이미지를 활용한 드레이프 생성 모델 구현에 관한 연구)

  • Drape is one of the factors that determine the shape of clothes and is one of the very important factors in the textile and fashion industry. At a time when non-face-to-face transactions are being activated due to the impact of the coronavirus, more and more companies are asking for drape value. However, in the case of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), it is difficult to measure the drape, because they feel the burden of time and money for measuring the drape. Therefore, this study aimed to generate a drape image for the material property value input using a conditional adversarial neural network through 3D simulation images generated by measuring digital properties. A drape image was created through the existing 736 digital property values, and this was used for model training. Then, the drape value was calculated for the image samples obtained through the generative model. As a result of comparing the actual drape experimental value and the generated drape value, it was confirmed that the error of the peak number was 0.75, and the average error of the drape value was 7.875

Study on Practical Evaluation for Sustainability in Textile and Fashion Companies (섬유·패션기업의 지속가능성 실천 평가 연구)

  • The practice of sustainability is an important subject to integrate into the management, product planning, manufacturing by textile and fashion companies as well as consumption by end-users. This study shows an evaluation scale designed to assess the practical cases in order to suggest efficient and systematic methods to fulfill the practice of sustainability in textile and fashion companies. First, companies should practice environmental sustainability to use eco-friendly material and cleaner production, protect the environment, and save natural resources. Second, social sustainability is required to fulfill social responsibility and ethical needs. Third, companies should perform various innovative activities, transparency in management, fair competition and economic contribution in the local community in order to maintain economic sustainability to survive in industry. Finally, cultural sustainability should be fulfilled by textile and fashion companies as part of the intellectual-cultural industry in a way that increases the importance of ethnic and cultural diversity. Textile and fashion companies should fulfill four environmental, social, and economic cultural sustainable subjects in a balanced method to accomplish sustainability. The concerns and practices of environmental sustainability are comparatively highly rated due to the analysis of the evaluation scale. However, cultural sustainability (a need of the times) is poorly rated and needs more attention. Therefore, the evaluation scale can be used as a standard tool to fulfill the sustainability of companies and brands from the viewpoint of improving poor and insufficiently sustainable items as well as balancing sustainability management.

  • In this paper, we analyzed the latest research trends, challenges, and potential applications of next-generation solar cell materials in various industrial fields. In addition, future prospects and possibilities of Smart Textile Hybrid Energy Harvesting Devices that will supply electricity by combining with wearable IoT devices are presented. The hybrid textile energy harvesting device fused next-generation solar cells with tribo-piezoelectric devices will develop into new 'Convergence Integrated Smart Wear' by combining the material itself with wearable IoT devices in the era of the 4th industrial revolution. The next-generation nanotechnology and devices proposed in this paper will be applied to the field of smart textile with an energy harvesting function. And we hope it will be a paradigm shift that evolves into creative products which provide AI services such as medical & healthcare by convergence with the future smart wear industry.
