It IS timely and meaningful to research into the procedure of the establishment of the design movement and its role in early twentieth century Britain, which underwent a similar situation to that of current Korea, especially when the development of industrial design is thought to be essential in enhancing nation's competitive power. Besides, the study of the British design movement and design policies resulting from it will set a valuablt, example for us to follow in forming design policies for the betterment of design and in making guidelines for the Korean design movement. Therefore, first. I studil'd circumstances of the period when D.I.:\ was established and the German design movement as well as principles of German I}I.A. as foundation stones for it. Then. I discussed both D.I.A. activities and major figures of the D.I.A. movement in 1~):!O's, l~nO's and l~)~O's. In conclusion, I indicated [xJsitive and negative aspects of the role of D.l.:\.

본 연구는 최근 국내 SI 기업의 활발한 해외시장 진출과 관련하여 일반적인 IT 서비스의 성질을 도출해 고객의 구매결정을 방해하는 요인을 찾아내고 이를 해결하기에 적합한 시장진출유형을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 또한 거래비용 관점에서 SI 기업에게 가장 효율적인 진출유형이 무엇인지를 도출하는 것이다. IT 서비스는 구매계약이 체결된 이후에 생산이 시작되므로 일단 사용해 본 후에야 품질평가가 가능한 경험적 성질을 갖는다. 따라서 해당 SI 기업과의 사업경험이 없는 고객은 구매 전에 IT 서비스의 품질을 평가할 수 없기 때문에 구매에 대한 높은 불확실성을 인식하게 되고 이것은 구매결정을 방해하는 요인으로 작용한다. 이러한 문제는 SI 기업이 새로이 해외시장에 진출할 때 현지에서 명성과 신뢰를 쌓고 있는 기업과의 합작투자를 통해 해결될 수 있다. 왜냐하면 이럴 경우 IT 서비스와 관련해서는 아직 사업경험이 없다고 할지라도 현지 기업의 명성이나 신뢰, 또는 기존의 돈독한 사업관계를 통해 SI 기업이 자신을 속이거나 배반하지 않을 것이라는 기본적인 믿음을 통해 고객의 불확실성을 감소시킬 수 있기 때문이다. 또한 시장거래비용과 관리적 거래비용 측면에서 순수 자회사 설립보다는 현지 시장 및 고객환경에 밝은 현지 기업과의 합작회사 설립을 통해 진출하는 것이 보다 효율적이다. 이와는 달리 최근 국내 대형 SI 기업의 해외진출 현황을 살펴보면 자회사 설립을 통한 진출을 선호하는 것으로 나타났는데 이것은 이들이 속한 그룹사들이 많은 해외시장 경험을 통해 해당 시장환경에 익숙하기 때문에 현지 기업의 도움 없이도 시장개척이나 고객확보가 가능하다고 판단했기 때문이라고 해석된다. 본 연구결과는 특히 해외시장 경험이 아직 부족한 국내 SI 기업들이 해외시장에 진출할 때 유용한 자료로 활용될 수 있다.

The study aims at discussing issues concerning the establishment of the cooperative repository libraries based on regional central libraries which not only support various types of regional libraries and conduct cooperative businesses with them, but also are responsible for collecting and preserving library materials. The study analyzes concepts and types of cooperative repository libraries by literature review and explores cooperative repository libraries in the United States. Futhermore, it conducts a survey and finds that the regional central libraries do not perform their preservation functions, due to the lack of their manpower and budget. As a result, the study provides an establishment plan for cooperative repository libraries which participant libraries hold ownership of transferred materials and regional central libraries own the right of management. Also, it suggests to expand cooperative repository libraries' service coverage from participants to regional communities.

The goal of this study is to propose the reform plans for education program for librarianship. For this goal, authors analyzed the current status(participation rates and availability, training and operating methods, lectures and lecturers, facilities and location, future core competencies, etc) of education program using the librairan's survey and forecasted the long-term educational demand. Based on these results, authors proposed a future-oriented reform of education program for librarianship for establishment and operation of tentatively named 'National Librarian Education Institute' in the National Library of Korea.

The aim of this study is to identify the difference of the customer satisfaction before and after establishment of Busan Port Authority with focus on container terminals in Busan Port. As a result, the customer satisfaction varies according to customer types, and it has been changed followed by container port environment. Therefore suitable strategies have to establish, i.e. berth number for large shipping company, connectivity for feeder company, and activity of customer attraction for terminal operating company.

The purpose of the study is to know the current status of the assets backed securities(ABS) in Korea. ABS enables banks, depository institutions, finance companies, and other corporations to liquefy their assets (i.e., raise cash by borrowing against assets) and develop new sources of capital. ABS are bonds that represent pools of loans of similar types, duration and interest rates. By selling their loans to SPC, the originator recover cash quickly, enabling them to make more loans. The ABS market in Korea has grown so rapidly since Financial Crisis in Korea. In current, So many different types of loans are securitized and sold in the investment markets. For more prospering ABS in Korea, some problems in ABS should be make up.

최근 정신질환의 심각성과 정신보건의 증진에 대한 세계적 관심이 고조되면서 세계보건기구(WHO)와 미국 보건복지부(DHHS)에서는 잇달아 정신보건에 대한 연구 결과들을 발표하였다(United States Public Health Service Office of He Surgeon Central, 1999 & 2001, World Health Organization, 2001). 이러한 가운데 지난해 미국 정부는 대통령 직속의 정신보건위원회를 설립하여 현재 정신보건서비스제도가 드러내고 있는 다양한 문제점들을 파악, 분석하여 개선 방안들을 제안해 줄 것을 요청하였다. 미국 사회의 정신질환 및 정신보건과 관련된 서비스시스템을 개선하기 위한 이러한 획기적인 노력은 1997년 Carter대통령 쥐임 직후 구성된 정신보건위원회(President's Commission on Mental Health) 이후 약 25년 만에 이루어진 일로서 정신보건 분야뿐만 아니라 미국 사회 전반에 걸쳐 비상을 관심을 끌고 있다. 그리고 이러한 노력과 결과는 최근 들어 심각하게 노출되는 정신질환 및 사회병리 현상으로 어려움을 겪고있는 한국 사회에도 많은 시사점을 줄 수 있으리라 기대된다. 따라서 본 연구는 정신보건위원회의 활동을 중심으로 미국 사회의 정신보건에 대한 다양한 문제를 인식하고 이를 해결하기 위한 정신보건서비스제도 개선 방안을 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구의 주요 내용으로는 위원회의 설립 배경과 활동 경과, 정신보건제도의 다양한 문제점과 개혁 방안으로 구성되었다. 그리고 이러한 고찰은 우리나라 정신보건제도에 대한 인식과 발전 방향에 대한 새로운 조망을 도출해낼 수 있으리라 기대한다. 연구의 주요 방법으로는 각종 연구보고서와 기존 문헌을 이용한 문헌 연구를 활용하였으며, 기존 출간 자료나 통계에 밝혀지지 않은 사항은 정신보건위원회의 위원과의 직접 인터뷰를 통해 보완되었다.

The public library is the local centre and gateway of knowledge and information. Therefore, the library should be funded and operated by local government and the governing body will be responsible for matters of policy of the library. However, recently public libraries in Korea have faced enormous policy challenges such as the damage of its identity, outsourcing or contracting-out of management, and the general chaos of its administrative system. This paper aims to analyze the current level of infrastructure and policies of public libraries and to review the wrong path and the right path of library policies focused on establishing a library foundation and outsourcing library management in Seoul and Incheon.

강원전문대학신축설계경기의 당선작이 지난 6월21일 발표되었다. 총 9개의 작품이 응모한 이번 설계경기에서는 주.엄앤드이건축사 사무소(이각표)와 주.종합건축사사무소 산(한광호)의 공동안이 당선작으로 선정되었으며 주.건축사사무소 원.시공.형제(정상원)와, 주,건축사종합건축사사무소(공순구)의 안이 각각 우수작으로 선정되었다. 이 설계경기는 강릉시 주문진의 주문진소속고등학교 4만 8천여평 부지의 기존교사동, 실습동 증축과 대학본관, 도서관 등을 비롯 부대시설을 건립하는 것으로, 한국교육개발원의 '강원전문대설립방안 및 중.장기발전계획연구'에 의거 전문대학의 설립이념 및 목적, 설치학과 및 학생정원, 시설확충계획의 반영, 옥외시설 오픈스페이스 등을 충분히 고려하여야하는 것을 기본 설계방향으로 잡았다. 이번 심사는 한봉기(기획관), 이중근(건설교통국장)과 강원대, 관동대, 삼척산업대, 춘천교육대의 건축 및 조경학과 교수 등 총 10명이 맡았다. 당선된 주.엄앤드이건축사사무소와, 주.종합건축사사무소 산의 공동안은 적절한 조닝캠퍼스 내외의 접근성양호와 보차분리와 토지이용계획의 우수 등 여러 부분에서 심사위원들의 높은 점수를 받았다.

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the development process of Korean children's libraries from 1945 to 2002. The development process of Korean children's library is divided into stages as follows. First, the preparation period (after colonial liberation in 1945~1976) is the time when library services for children were started, focusing on children's rooms in public libraries. The children's libraries were not recognized enough to be established. Second, the growing period (1977~2002), was primarily aimed at providing library services to children. In this period, the children's libraries were mainly established in the private sector rather than the public sector.
