  • Using wireless communication that has been developed, it has activated electronic commerce. Thus in this kind of commercial dealing, it is more important to provide user's friendly relation rather than providers mechanical reaction to be one of the important factors. So in this paper, it describes about the development of Client Information Monitoring System(CiMoS) that accumulate user's information during the electronic commerce(wire-less) and evaluate to make server to use it in real time.

A Study on the Attitudes and Perception of Middle-aged and Elderly English Learners in Lifelong Education (평생교육에 대한 중년과 노년 영어 학습자의 태도와 인식 연구)

  • This study investigated the English learners who are over 40 on their attitudes and perception for lifelong education by dividing them into age groups of middle aged and elderly learners. To this end, from May 20, 2020 to June 30, 2021, 80 participants attending lifelong education centers in North Gyeongsang province were surveyed on the demographic characteristics and interest, necessity, passion, advantage, hindrance, learning motivation, preferred subjects, and learning methods. As a result, it was found that elderly learners showed a more positive English learning attitude than middle-aged learners, and both groups considered the communication area important in their learning motivation and preferred subjects. In regard to hindrance toward English learning, different factors were shown according to the age groups along with lack of confidence in English. Differences were also shown in preferred learning methods. This study suggested the possibility of learning outcomes according to the positive learning attitude of elderly learners along with the need for detailed English program design according to learners' age.

  • Although online education has many advantages such as providing huge information and overcoming time and space limit over the traditional education, its effects may not be good unless proper user interface is not provided. Only well-designed interface can allow students to learn correct information quickly and study creatively and actively. The purpose of this study is to design and implement user interface suitable for elementary school students. In this study, in order to design proper user interface for elementary school students, factors affecting human-computer interaction have been analyzed and adopted. Also, design and structure of existing educational portal sites are analyzed so that the most common design elements are adopted. Finally, extensive survey is carried out in order to examine preference and navigation style of elementary school students and teachers. The survey results are reflected on the design principles of this work.

Analysis of Learners' Characteristics and Preferences for Effective Online Learning (효과적인 온라인 학습을 위한 학습자특성과 선호도 분석)

  • This study aims to analyze the characteristics and preferences of learners who participated in college online classes for effective online learning. A total of 101 college students who participated in online classes completed the survey including personal characteristics of students and learning factors that affect online classes. The results showed that male students were more likely than female students to respond that online classes were more effective. Likewise students who learned from video recordings compared to those who learned from real-time lectures. As a result of analyzing the difficulties of online learning, there was a high probability that online learning was ineffective for students who had difficulties in self-learning and asking questions to their lecturers. Likewise, students who spent a lot of time studying online lectures, there was a high probability that online classes would be more effective for students who spent a lot of time on assignments. The results suggest that online learning is more effective for students who learn actively and self-directedly than those who passively participate in classes. This study implies that it is necessary to design online classes based on the characteristics and preferences of learners to improve the quality of education.

  • 스마트폰 보급의 확산으로 제품 구매 시 웹 사이트 및 SNS를 이용하여 제품 리뷰를 참고하는 소비자들이 증가하고 있다. 전자 상거래 사이트의 제품 리뷰는 구매 예정자들에게 유용한 정보로 활용되곤 한다. 하지만 구매 예정자가 직접 제품에 대한 리뷰 데이터를 찾아 전체 내용을 일일이 읽고 분석해야하기 때문에 시간이 오래 걸릴뿐만 아니라 가공되지 않는 데이터가 줄 수 있는 정보는 한정적이다. 또한 이러한 리뷰들은 상품의 특징을 파악하기에도 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 제품의 주요 이슈를 추출하고 주요 이슈에 대한 감성 분석과 감성 요약을 통해 제품 분석 및 평가를 제공하는 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 이를 휴대폰 제품에 적용하여 구축한 시스템을 통해 소비자가 방대한 양의 제품의 리뷰 데이터를 분석할 필요 없이 제품의 주요 이슈와 가공된 분석 결과를 시각적으로 빠르게 제공받을 수 있음을 보였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 모바일 환경의 상황 적응형 효율적인 광고운영 시스템 설계에 대하여 제안한다. 제안한 시스템은 광고공급자가 제작한 광고콘텐츠를 저장하고, 광고공급자와 광고소비자의 상황정보와 피드백 정보를 분석하여 맞춤형 광고 콘텐츠를 추천하여 제공한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 시스템은 광고콘텐츠와 광고 소비자의 선호도 및 성향에 따른 스마트한 광고 콘텐츠를 추천 및 제공하기 때문에, 스마트 미디어 시대를 맞이한 광고시장에 새로운 서비스 모델을 개발하는데 기여할 것으로 기대한다.

The Interaction Design of Teaching Assistant Robots based on Reinforcement Theory - With an Emphasis on the Measurement of the Subjects' Impressions and Preferences - (강화 이론에 근거한 교사 보조 로봇 인터랙션 디자인에 관한 연구 - 로봇에 대한 인상과 선호도 측정을 중심으로 -)

  • This study examines whether the reinforcement theory could be effectively applied to teaching assistant robots between a robot and a student in the same way as it is applied to teaching methods between a teacher and a student. Participants interacted with a teaching assistant robot in a 3 (types of robots: positive reinforcement vs. negative reinforcement vs. both reinforcements) by 2 (types of participants: honor students vs. backward students), within-subject experiment. Three different types of robots, such as 'Ching-chan-ee' which gives 'positive reinforcement', 'Um-bul-ee' which gives 'negative reinforcement', and 'Sang-bul-ee' which gives both 'positive and negative reinforcement' were designed based on the reinforcement theory and the token reinforcement system. Subjective impressions and preferences were measured according to the types of robots and the types of participants. Participants preferred the positive reinforcement robot most, and the negative reinforcement robot least. Regarding the number of stimulus, in case of the negative reinforcement robot for honor students, the less the stimulus is, the more positive the impressions toward the robot are. The findings demonstrate that the reinforcement interaction is important and effective factor which determines children's preferences and impressions for teaching assistant robots. The results of this study can be implicated as an effective guideline to interaction design of teaching assistant robots.

  • 원본 콘텐츠를 분산된 지역 복제서버에 복사하여 사용자의 요청에 대해 가까운 복제서버가 서비스 하도록 하는 CDN 서비스는 빠른 웹 서비스에 크게 기여하였다. 그러나 각 CDN간의 연동이 이루어지지 않아 콘텐츠 제공자 입장에서는 과다 투자가 발생하고 사용자 입장에서는 가입하지 않은 CDN 네트워크의 복제서버가 더 가까이 있다하더라고 원거리의 CDN 로부터 서비스 받아야하는 문제가 발생한다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 CDN 네트워크간에 연동을 할 수 있는 CDI(Content Delivery Internetworking) 프로토콜을 설계하여 제안한다.

  • 네트워크가 발전하면서 사용자들은 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 인터넷을 선호하게 되었다. 또한 많은 개발자들은 손쉽게 배포할 수 있는 인터넷 기반의 시스템을 개발하였다. 그러나 인터넷은 많은 양의 서버 리소스와 대역폭이 필요할 뿐만 아니라 응답 속도가 느리다. 따라서, 인터넷을 통한 통합적인 시스템은 더욱 강력한 기능을 필요로 한다. 그러한 기능을 스마트 클라이언트가 제공한다. 대표적으로 빠른 응답 능력, 손쉬운 배포와 관리된 업데이트, 오프라인으로의 사용 등이 있다. 이러한 풍부한 기능을 가진 스마트 클라이언트를 적용하여 인터넷의 장점은 사용하고 단점은 보완할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 스마트 클라이언트를 적용한 전자상거래 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 이러한 결과 전자상거래 관리자는 판매자에게 관리시스템의 배포가 쉽게 이루어지며 판매자는 관리시스템을 통해 손쉽게 상품을 등록하고 고객의 주문을 관리할 수 있었다. 또한, 고객은 요청한 기능에 대한 빠른 응답으로 구매시간을 절약할 수 있었다.

User Experience(UX) Qualitative Evaluation of Dialogue e-learning contents (대화형 이러닝 콘텐츠에 관한 사용자 경험(UX) 질적 평가)

  • In the era of COVID-19 global pandemic, e-learning has become new standards and daily life in the name of 'new normal'. This study developed dialogue e-learning contents as opposed to monologue e-learning which is unidirectional and instructor centered and conducted qualitative user experience evaluation of dialogue e-learning contents. A total number of 20 adult students participated and were individually interviewed. Qualitative data analysis was performed. The findings include students' positive perceptions of dialogue e-learning contents such as empathy for various ideas and new format. With regard to personal preference, 55% of participants preferred dialogue e-learning contents because it enables them to focus and share real experiences. Meanwhile, in terms of learning effects, 60% participants selected monologue e-learning contents and mentioned adequate explanations of concepts and explicit information delivery. Based on the results, suggestions on the design and development of dialogue e-learning contents were presented.
