A Nonlinear State Observer for Sensorless Hybrid-type LPM (센서없는 하이브리드형 선형 펄스모터를 위한 비선형 상태관측기 설계)

  • This paper describes a nonlinear state observer to identify the rotor position and velocity of a hybrid-type linear pulse motor(LPM). Since the observer's error dynamics of a hybrid-type LPM is highly nonlinear, the stability of the proposed observer is analyzed using an approximated error model. The optimal choices of the proposed observer gains are also discussed. Our extensive simulation study shows that the proposed observer can identify rotor position and velocity and is robust with respect to uncertainties in mechanical parameters and load force.

  • Linear Pulse Motors (LPM) are used a field where SImOth linear motion is required, and it's position accuracy higher than that of a lead According to the advanUlge such as simplicity of rrechanical frarre, high reliability, precise open-loop operation, low inertia etc. LPM is awlied largely where it have made motor of this kind more and rmre attractive in many application areas such as factory automation and high speed positioning. This paper is researched to analyze for force characteristics of hybrid LPM with high accuracy and repeatability. Both the thrust and normal force are very sensitive to the airgap and tooth pitches of the forcer and platen. Here, the thrust shows a high content while the normal force is much higher than the thrust. For magnetic circuits of hybrid LPM is the complicated structure, the finite element rrethod (FEM) is employed with suitable rrethod for calculating the force. Therefore, both the virtual work principle and maxwell stress tensor have been used.n used.

  • The linear motor available for linear transition motion, because of its advantages, the motor design and its application have gradually increased, but the quantitative measurement system of thrust force has not been generalized. So, this paper proposes the modeling, computation method, and measurement system of linear thrust force in HB-type linear pulse motor. As the computation method of thrust force in linear motor is presented and the measurement system is designed, and manufactured, it would be verified that reliability of measurement method and measurement system, considering on and comparing the results of mathematical modeling with measured values of static thrust force and dynamic one.

  • A use of micro processor having H-com functions is gradually increased, and this paper describes the digital servo controller applied to linear pulse motor The TMS320LF2407, made by TI(Texas Instruments Co.), is used as a arithmetic unit in control circuit, designed f3r motor drive and available for the implement of high performance and miniaturization. Also, it can allow the sufficient debugging and downloading into control board for independent operation. A current control in order to carry out a position control is of a digital current control mode, and its implement confirmed the servo control performance of position control.

  • Because linear motor directly drives linear motion, it does not need conversion equipment such as belt and gear. Especially linear pulse motor provide more precise positioning and large force of linear pulse motors. As current manufacture technic of linear pulse motor is much to be desired at home. This motor lay out to make use of computer aided design program, In this paper the experimental motor is 2-phases 4-poles hybrid pulse motor which has teeth per pole Simulation program is divided its function into 4 parts - air gap permeance analysis, permanent magnet & non-linear core operating point determine, winding configuration, leakage flux analysis. It is possible to make motor static and magnetic characteristics for this simulation program. Also, by varying input parameters of the program, experimental motor is to be compared to motor characteristics.

  • Linear pulse motor (LPM) has the vibration during the operation because of magnetic characteristic which is caused by the mechanical configuration and the electromagnetic property. This paper proposes the calculation of thrust on the base of magnetic equivalent circuit for the purpose of the vibration minimization of LPM. The permeance of LPM is calculated and simulated from the construction tooth. The thrust is compared with the analytical method, the 3D finite element method (FEM) and the experimental values. The vibration of LPM is measured and estimated to select the input current wave for an optimal operation condition.

It is verified validity of numerical formula that measure waveform of electric current and voltage that is supplied in each phase.

  • Recently, unmanned systems have been studied and developed in various areas including aircrafts, automobiles and vessels. In addition, many researches about unmanned systems in Korea have been studying actively with the advancement of IT However, it is not satisfied with the result of the researches and developments. Bemuse of the reason we've here tried to make a very small USV which is a barge type. We applied the Great circle navigation calculation based on GPS to the autonomous navigation algorithm and used the LabVIEW 8.2 developed by NI corp. for programming The engine and rudder were controlled by pulse width modulation method. The engine system was composed of the DC motor and ESC(Electronic Speed Controller). It was also applied by the direct cooling system using DC motor pump. A very small USV was designed and made by ourself and it was verified the effectiveness of autonomous navigation algorithm through the tests at the sea.

  • Need analysis of correct thrust for control performance improvement of HB-LPM (Hybrid type Linear Pulse Motor). It is difficult to analyze HB-LPM's thrust. In this paper, HB-LPM's thrust is expressed to mathematical expression. And it is proved validity of this numerical formula by thrust measurement system. Two phase driver is composed. It is verified validity of numerical formula that measure waveform of electric current and voltage that is supplied in each Phase. In this study, composed two phase drive driver, advantage of this IGBT element 6 by accumulated IPM module 1 Driver composition possible. That is, can economize 1 module. In other words, Driver composition is available by IGBT or metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor element 4. This is economical big gains.

  • In order to establish the design technique of the robust current controller in d.c series wound motor driver system, this paper proposes a method of the compensated Bang-Bang current control using d.c series wound motor driver system under the improperly variable load to get minimum time for the torque control. The compensated Bang-Bang current controller structure is simpler than that of PID plus Bang-Bang controller. This paper shows that a general 16 bits microprocessor is efficiently used to implement such an algorithm. The calculation time of software is extremely small when compared with that of conventional PID plus Bang-Bang controller. Both nonlinear operating characteristics of digital switching elements and describing function methods are used for the analysis and synthesis. Real-time implementation of the compensated Bang-Bang current controller is achieved. The concept of design strategy of the control and the PWM waveform generation algorithms are presented in this paper.
