Turbidity One-System for River and Reservoir (하천-저수지 탁수 일원화 모델 )

  • 집중호우의 증가는 저수지 내 탁수의 증가로 이어지며, 저수지에서의 탁수 배제는 하천의 탁수 문제로 연결될 수 있다. 탁수의 발생은 정수처리 비용 증가와 하천 생태계 문제 등을 발생시키므로, 이에 대한 해결책이 지속적으로 요구되고 있다. 특히 낙동강 유역의 임하호는 태풍 및 집중호우 발생 시 고탁수의 유입 빈도가 높다. 탁수가 임하호에 유입되면 일반적으로 저수지 탁수 예측 수치해석을 수행하여 탁수의 저수지 내 탁수 거동과 방류량에 따른 탁수 저감 정도를 파악하고, 탁수 배제를 위한 저수지 운영계획을 수립한다. 그러나 방류된 고탁수의 하천 거동에 대한 수치해석은 국내에서는 수행하고 있지 않은 실정이다. 임하댐 하류에서 내성천합류부까지는 약 0.325 m3/s의 물을 취수하고 있으므로(2022년 기준), 하천의 탁수도 저수지 탁수와 동시에 고려되어야 할 필요가 있다. 저수지와 하천의 유사 거동 분석에 대해 격자 구성 등의 이유로 일반적으로 각각 다른 tool을 사용하고 있으나, 모델구축 및 입□출력 data의 변환 등 구축, 구동, 분석 과정 모두 효율적이지 못하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 하천과 저수지에서의 탁수 거동을 동시에 예측할 수 있는 일원화된 수치해석 모델을 구축(임하호~낙본C)하였다. 준3차원 모델인 EFDC를 이용하였으며, 격자는 저수지는 직사각격자, 하천은 Curvlinear를 적용하였다. 연직방향으로는 저수지와 하천의 수심 차이가 크므로 EFDC 내에 탑재되어 있는 𝜎-z(uniform)레이어 옵션을 선택하여, 저수지 연직 레이어는 40개, 하천은 2개로 구축되었다. 하천에서의 탁수 거동 예측은 지류의 유량, 탁도 등의 경계조건 data를 얻기가 쉽지 않기 때문에, 유량은 임하호 유입유량에 유역면적비를 적용하였으며, 탁도는 TSS(Total Suspended Solid)-SSC(Suspended Sediment Concentration)-유량의 관계를 각각 회귀분석 등을 통해 도출하여 연구 범위 내 7개 지류하천에 적용하였다. 모의 시기는 2개의 태풍으로 연속적인 탁수가 발생한 2020년 08~10월로 결정하였다. 모의 결과 저수지와 하천의 PBIAS는 각각 13.6과 8.4로(Very Good 등급) 하천과 저수지를 동시에 모의하는 탁수 예측의 적용 가능성은 충분한 것으로 확인되었다. 그러나 이벤트별 지류의 유량과 탁도는 일정한 관계로 계산될 수 없으므로, 향후 유역 모델과 연계하여 지류 유입 유량 및 탁도의 정확도를 개선할 것이다.

Evaluation of Insertion of torque and Pull-out strength of mini-screws according to different thickness of artificial cortical bone (다양한 교정용 미니 스크류의 인공 피질골 두께에 따른 삽입 토오크와 Pull-out 강도 비교)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the mechanical performance of mini-screws during insertion into artificial bone with use of the driving torque tester (Biomaterials Korea, Seoul, Korea), as well as testing of Pull-out Strength (POS). Methods: Experimental bone blocks with different cortical bone thickness were used as specimens. Three modules of commercially available drill-free type mini-screws (Type A; pure cylindrical type, Biomaterials Korea, Seoul, Korea, Type B; partially cylindrical type, Jeil Medical, Seoul, Korea, Type C; combination type of cylindrical and tapered portions, Ortholution, Seoul, Korea), were used. Results: Difference in the cortical bone thickness had little effect on the maximum insertion torque (MIT) in Type A mini-screws. But in Type B and C, MIT increased as the cortical bone thickness Increased. MIT of Type C was highest in all situations, then Type B and Type A in order. Type C showed lower POS than Type A or B in all situations. There were statistically significant correlations between cortical bone thickness and MIT, and POS for each type of the mini-screws. Conclusion: Since different screw designs showed different insertion torques with increases in cortical bone thickness, the best suitable screw design should be selected according to the different cortical thicknesses at the implant sites.

  • Along with the recent increase in national income, social phenomena such as aging due to a decrease in population and an increase in single households are observed. There are also an increasing number of households raising pets in proportion to aging households and the increase in the number of single households, most of which use animal companions to overcome loneliness and boost domestic vitality. As more and more people consider pets as family members, the size of the domestic pet market is also growing. The growing number of pets in older households and single households is not properly managed by care such as food meals and exercise management for pets. It is necessary to research and develop robots that can monitor animal companions remotely, feed a certain amount of food at regular intervals, and manage their health through exercise. Among pet companions, dog selection is the highest. Therefore, this study identified robot research on driving methods, examples of existing pet care systems, and researched pet care robots using obstacle avoidance algorithms. In order to use the snack pay behavior and obstacle avoidance algorithm of the pet animals by applying IoT and we .oPI technology, it is able to use ultrasonic sensors on the front and has four infrared sensors on the back. However, this study does not reflect the characteristics of other pet animals as a study on pet care robots, and it requires continuous observation and testing.

Large-Scale Current Source Development in Nuclear Power Plant (원전에 사용되는 직류전압제어 대전류원의 개발)

  • A current source capable of stably supplying current as a measurement medium is required in order to measure and test important facilities that require large-scale measurement current, such as a control element drive mechanism control system(CEDMCS), in case of dismantling a nuclear power plant. However, it can provides only voltage power as a source, not current, although direct voltage controlled constant current source is essential to test major equipment. That kind of source is not available to supply stable constant current regardless of load variation. It is just voltage supplier. Developing current source is not easy other than voltage source. Very large-scale current source up to ampere class more than such ten times of normal current is inevitable to test above mentioned equipment. So, we developed large-scale current source which is controlled by input DC voltage and supplies constant stable current to object equipment according to this requirement. We measured and tested nuclear power plant equipment using given real site data for a long time and afforded long period load test, and then proved its validity and verification. The developed invetion will be used future installed important equipment measuring and testing.

A Multi-Objective Shortest Paths Finding Considering Multi-Class in A Multi-Modal Transit Network for Providing User-Customized Route Information (사용자 맞춤형 대중교통 경로정보제공을 위한 다계층의 다목적 경로탐색기법 연구)

  • Mass transit information should contribute many benefits to users. Especially transportation information technology is developing highly with information technology in Korea recently. Hereafter it is expected to provide customized transportation information to users individually with the advent of ubiquitous age in earnest. This public transportation information service can be realized by path finding algorithms in public transportation networks including travel and transfer attributes. In this research, multi objectives such as travel time, transfer time, and number of transfer and so on are constructed with the primary facts influencing users. Moreover, the method reducing user's path finding alternatives arbitrarily is proposed by selecting the best alternative which provides maximum utility to users among non dominated paths. Therefore, the ultimate goal of this study proposes a multi objective shortest paths finding algorithm which can take into account multiple user classes in a transit network with multiple travel modes. The proposed algorithm is demonstrated based on the two case studies - a small toy network and the large-scaled Seoul Metropolitan subway network.

  • 마이크로 공정을 이용한 초소형 정밀 기계는 공정 기술과 재료 기술의 발전에 의하여 더욱 소형화되고 있으며 특히 기능을 갖는 부분과 이 부분을 제어하는 주변회로의 on-chip화의 요구가 증가되기 시작하였다. 이와 같은 추세에 있어서의 문제점은 초소형 정밀기계 부품 소자의 구동을 위한 에너지원의 개발이다. 즉, 소자의 크기가 작아진 것에 부합되는 초소형의 전지가 필요하게 된 것이다. 따라서 보다 완전한 초소형 정밀 기계 및 마이크로 소자의 구현을 위하여 마이크로 소자와 혼성 (Hybrid) 되어 이용될 수 있는 고성능 및 초소형의 전지의 개발이 필수적이다. 초소형 전지의 구현을 위하여 Li계의 2차 전지를 선택하여 이를 박막화하고 반도체 공정을 도입할 수 있다. 이러한 전지를 박막형 2차 전지 또는 박막형 마이크로 전지(thin film Secondary Battery : TFSB or Thin Film Micro-Battery : TFMB)라 하며 이러한 2차 전지는 일반적인 벌크 전지와 동일하게 cathode/Electolyte/Anode의 구조를 갖는다. 박막의 특성상 전해질은 고상의 물질을 사용하는 것이 벌크형 2차 전지와 다른 점이다. TFSB의 성능은 주로 cathode에 의하여 결정되며 지금까지 많은 cathode 물질에 대한 연구 보고가 발표되고 있다. 반도체 공정을 이용한 TFMB의 제작시 무엇보다 중요한 점은 우수한 고상 전해질 및 anode 물질의 선택에 있다. 최근에 2차 전지를 위한 carbon계 anode를 대체할 수 있는 SnO에 대한 보고가 있는데 이는 한 개의 Sn 원자당 2개 이사의 Li가 반응하여 높은 용량을 갖는 전지의 제작이 가능하기 때문이다. Sno2의 anode는 매우 높은 충전용량을 갖는데 첫 번째 방전시에 Li2O를 생성하여 비가역적 반응을 나타내고 계속되는 충방전 동안 Li-Sn 합금이 생성되어 2차전지의 가역적 반응을 가능하게 한다. SnO2 는 대기중에서 Li 금속보다 안정하기 때문에 전지의 제작 공정 및 사용 면에서 매우 우수한 물질이지만 아직까지 SnO2 구조적 특성과 전지의 충, 방전 특성에 대한 관계의 규명을 위한 정확한 정설은 제시되고 있지 못하다. 본 연구에서는 TFSB anode 물질로써 SnOx박막을 상온에서 여러 전도성 콜렉터 위에 증착하여 그 충, 방전 특성을 보고하였다. 증착된 SnOx박막의 표면은 SEM, AFM으로 분석하였으며 구조의 분석은 XR와 Auger electron spectroscope로 하였다. 충, 방전 특성을 분석하기 위하여 리늄 foil을 대극과 참조 전극으로 하여 EC:DMC=1:1, 1M LiPF6 액체 전해질을 사용한 Half-Cell를 구성하여 100회 이상의 정전류 충, 방전 시험을 행하였다. Half-Cell test 결과 박막의 구조, 콜렉터의 종류 및 Sn/O비에 따라 서로 다른 충, 방전 거동을 나타내었다.

SCANNING ELECTRON MICROSCOPIC STUDY ON THE EFFICACY OF ROOT CANAL WALL DEBRIDEMENT OF ROTARY NI-TI INSTRUMENTS WITH DIFFERENT CUTTING ANGLE (엔진 구동형 니켈-타이타늄 합금파일의 절삭각에 따른 근관성형 효과에 관한 전자현미경적 연구)

  • The purpose of this in vitro study was to compare the effects of root canal cleanness following two Ni-Ti rotary instruments with different rake angle. Thirty-six sound, extracted human premolars with single root were randomly divided into three groups. The used rotary instruments were HEROShaper (Group 1, Micro-Mega, Besancon, France, n=12) and ProFile (Group 2, Maillefer, Ballaigues, Switzerland, n=12). Control group (n=12) was only extirpated with barbed broach (Mani, Matsutani Seisakusho Co., Japan) Group 1 & 2 teeth were prepared to a #40/.04 taper at the apex followed by 1 mm using crown-down technique. After canal preparation and frequent irrigation with 5.25% sodium hypochlorite, the roots split longitudinally into a bucco-lingual direction. Root halves were cross-sectioned in apical third portion again. All root specimens were processed for SEM investigation and photographed. Separate evaluations by one endodontist were undertaken for smear layer on prepared walls with a five score-index for each using reference photograph in root halves. The penetration depth of smear layer into dentinal tubules was also estimated in the other halves. Following results were obtained: 1. Smear layer was observed on all the prepared walls with two experimental groups except control group. 2. Smear layer characteristics in two experimental groups; 1) HEROShaper group showed snowy, dusty appearance and were shown open dentinal tubuli on the prepared walls of almost specimens, and the thickness of smear layer covering onto dentinal surfaces was within 1-2 ${\mu}m$ in a few specimens. 2) ProFile group showed shiny, burnished appearance and complete root canal wall covered by a homogenous smear layer with no open dentinal tubuli in all specimens. The penetration of smear layer into dentinal tubules was found in all specimens and the thickness was at 2-4 ${\mu}m$ in all specimens. These results demonstrated that a completely clean root canal could not be achieved regardless of positive or negative rake angle, which is in accordance with the majority of previous studies on root canal cleanliness In conclusion, through irrigation with antibacterial solutions or chelating agents is recommended to remove the smear layer on prepared canal wall in spite of Ni-Ti instrumentation.

  • This paper implements the graphic service template authoring tool based on the service template object model of describing the meta information of the services for early childhood education in the semantic web service environment. Our proposed system provides the robot services by constructing web services automatically and making the appropriate service plans. Moreover, it can create, append, delete, and update the service templates of URC based on STDL, and provide the graphic function on service template resources. In order to provide the user friendly environment in the service template phase, we implement the various editing environment : flow view style, grid view style, and text view style. We also provide the easy editing function by realizing abstract service block based on the robot API. Finally we can offer the intelligent and autonomous service of service agent based on semantic information.

Preparation and Characterization of Sulfonated Poly (Arylene Ether Sulfone) Random Copolymer-Polyolefin Pore-filling Separators with Metal Ion Trap Capability for Li-ion Secondary Battery (리튬이온 이차전지용 금속이온 선택성 술폰화 폴리아릴렌에테르술폰 공중합체-폴리올레핀 함침격리막 제조 및 특성)

  • Lithium ion secondary battery (LISB) is an energy conversion system operated via charging-discharging cycle based on Lithium ion migration. LISB has a lot of advantages such as high energy density, low self-discharge rate, and a relatively high lifetime. Recently, increasing demands of electric vehicles have been encouraging the development of LISB with high capacity. Unfortunately, it causes some critical safety issues. It includes dendrite formation on negative electrode, resulting in electric shortage problems and battery explosion. Also, the elevated temperatures occurred during the LISB operation induces thermal shrinkage of polyolefin (e.g., polyethylene and polypropylene) separators. Consequently, the low thermal stability leads to decay of LISB performances and the reduction of lifetime. In this study, sulfonated poly (arylene ether sulfone) (SPAES) random copolymers were used as key materials to prepare polyolefin pore-filling separator. The resulting separators were evaluated in the term of metal ion chelation capability associated with dendrite formation, $Li^+$ ion conductivity and thermal durability.

A Study on the Design of the Optimal Control System for Electric Driving Digital Governor (전기구동방식 디지털 가버너의 최적제어계 설계에 관한 연구)

  • Since sea state changes engine load instantaneously, the speed governing apparatus is essential for marine engine to maintain constant speed regardless of the load. As governing apparatuses, mechanical, pneumatic, and electric governors have been employed. But, recently, according to the introduction of low speed-ling stroke engines to increase thermal efficiency, the development of governor which has better response characteristics is requisite. In this paper, to design the governor that meets above requirement, author made a performance test for the existing PID control digital governor with the aid of computer simulation, and investigated digital governor applying the optimal control algorithm, then, executed computer simulation by the same way. As the result of simulations, found that the former let engine have large overshoot and long settling time at low speed, on the other hand, the latter made engine have better response. If we design and invent a good observer for delay time element so that the optimal control theory can be applied, better governor will be expected.
