  • 본 논문은 선박의 축계마력 측정방법 및 측정시스템의 개발방법에 대해 논의한다. 엔진 축계에서의 정확한 출력은 선박의 사용목적, 관련추진축계의 제작 및 설치비용 등과 밀접한 관련을 맺고 있다. 본 연구에서는 동력 전달측과 부하측사이의 축상에 두 개의 기어휠을 설치하고 각각의 기어휠에 비접촉식 검출기를 부착하여 위상을 계측한다. 동력이 가해질 경우 두 지점에서는 비틀림 각에 의한 위상차가 발생하게 되고, 발생된 위상차를 전압신호로 검출하여 축에서의 마력을 계산하게 된다.

  • A maritime object detection system is an intelligent assistance system to maritime autonomous surface ship(MASS). It detects automatically floating debris, which has a clash risk with objects in the surrounding water and used to be checked by a captain with a naked eye, at a similar level of accuracy to the human check method. It is used to detect objects around a ship. In the past, they were detected with information gathered from radars or sonar devices. With the development of artificial intelligence technology, intelligent CCTV installed in a ship are used to detect various types of floating debris on the course of sailing. If the speed of processing video data slows down due to the various requirements and complexity of MASS, however, there is no guarantee for safety as well as smooth service support. Trying to solve this issue, this study conducted research on the minimization of computation volumes for video data and the increased speed of data processing to detect maritime objects. Unlike previous studies that used the Hough transform algorithm to find the horizon and secure the areas of interest for the concerned objects, the present study proposed a new method of optimizing a binarization algorithm and finding areas whose locations were similar to actual objects in order to improve the speed. A maritime object detection system was materialized based on deep learning CNN to demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed method and assess the performance of the algorithm. The proposed algorithm performed at a speed that was 4 times faster than the old method while keeping the detection accuracy of the old method.

  • 링레이저 자이로스코프(Ring Laser Gyroscope-이하 RLG)는 비행기, 유도무기, 선박, 지상무기 등의 관성항법장치(Inertial Navigation System)에 사용되는 각속도 센서로서 항체의 위치와 자세 정보를 제공하는 핵심 구성품 중의 하나이다. 각속도 검출 원리는 삼각형 또는 사각형의 공진기에 He과 Ne을 혼합한 이득매질을 사용하여 서로 반대방향으로 회전하는 두 개의 레이저 빔을 발생시켜서 Sagnac 효과에 의해 외부의 회전 입력을 받을 때 서로 다른 광 경로의 차이로 인한 두 빔의 간섭으로 회전각을 검출한다.   • In this research, intelligent protection system for laser boat is introduced. The function of system is to measure the distance and velocity of object from our boat and generate control signals to avoid collision with moving targets. A novel approach to estimate object's position from our ship is tackled on this paper. To do this laser sensors are used to measure distance from ship to targets. The ship position and velocity is estimated by th Kalman filter algorithm. In the real phase, the filtering method will be applied to process signal gathered by laser sensors. Simulation to estimate ship's position and velocity under noise are executed and the results are introduced to show the effectiveness of the algorithm.

  • Ballast water has been known as a major vector for global dispersal of toxic dinoflagellates and other microalgae. In this study, biodiversity in ships’ ballast water was examined using a dinoflagellate-oriented PCR primer set and species-specific real-time PCR. While motile dinoflagellates could be observe at very low cell densities by light microscopy,a wide range of dinoflagellate taxa including parasitic and phototrophic pico-dinoflagellates as well as harmful species to marine fish/shellfish was detected when techniques for cloning/sequencing of SSU rDNA of sample cells were used. Present result suggests that molecular methods including species-specific PCR primers may offer rapid and accurate detection of invasive species in ballast water.

Report on the Hitchhiker Insect Pests detected from the Foreign Vessels Entering into Korea II (국외에서 출항한 국내 입항 선박에서 검출된 한국 미분포 편승자 해충에 대한 보고 II)

  • During 15 months from 13. Jul. 2018 to 29. Oct. 2019, we monitored on the hitchhiker insect pests from a total of 306 foreign vessels entering into Korea. As the results, a total of 805 samples of the hitchhiker insects were collected using simply collecting method by hands and identified as 379 species of 78 families under 12 orders on the basis of integrative species identification. Among them, 42 species (67 individuals) of 21 families under seven orders were detected as not-distributed species in South Korea. Of the 42 not-distributed species, seven species were multiply detected in 2018 and 2019, and two species, Erthesina fullo (Pentatomidae, Hemiptera) and Tessaratoma papilosa (Tessaratomidae, Hemiptera) were discovered as regulated insect pest. Therefore, we reported on the 42 not-distributed species in South Korea with the data sheets for the establishment of a monitoring plan on the not-distributed species and the risk assessments on invasive or invasive likelihood species.

  • Backscattered x-ray imaging is a technology capable of acquiring an image inside an irradiated object by measuring X-rays scattered from an object. For image acquisition, the system must include an X-ray generator and a detection system for measuring scattered x-rays. The imaging device must acquire a real-time signal at sampling intervals for x-rays generated by passing through a high-speed rotating collimator, and for this purpose, a high-speed signal acquisition device is required. We developed a high-speed multi-channel signal acquisition device for converting and transmitting signals generated by the sensor unit composed of a large-area plastic scintillator and a photomultiplier tube. The developed detector is a system capable of acquiring signals at intervals of at least 15u seconds and converting and transmitting signals of up to 6 channels. And a system includes remote control functions such as high voltage, signal gain, and low level discrimination for individual calibration of each sensor. Currently, we are conducting an application test for image acquisition under various conditions.

  • 선박내에는 많은 종류의 탱크들이 산재하고 있으며, 잔존량 및 이상유무를 실시간을 취합하여, 모니터링 할 수 있는 시스템은 선박에 있어서 필수적이다. 기존의 모니터링 시스템에서는 데이터의 종류가 많은 경우, 이를 구분하기 위한 처리와 전송과정에서 발생되는 전송 에러에 대한 처리를 호스트에서 수행하므로 많은 부하가 걸리게 된다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 에러 자동검출 및 재 전송의 자동 수행 및 분산 제어 기능을 제공하는 CAN을 이용해 탱크 모니터링 시스템을 설계하고, 구현한다.

  • This paper proposes integrated diagnosis system of motor for a ship. It carried out the safety diagnosis for insulation-resistor and current. The motor exposed to sea breeze and oil all the time is able to have problems as a over-current, reduction of the insulation-resistor and so on. These problems impact on the safety navigation, and occur a heavy casualties and loss of property. The proposed system is designed to verify continuous values of the insulation-resistor and current, and transfer them to a remote control room. The validity of the proposed system is verified through experiments on the 3-phase induction motor.
