Comparison of enzyme cytochemical activities between rosetted cells in peripheral blood of Korean native cattle (한우(韓牛) 말초혈액내(末梢血液內) rosette 형성세포(形成細胞)의 효소화학적(酵素化學的) 염색성(染色性) 비교(比較))

  • Peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMNC) of Korean native cattle rosetted with Korean goat erythrocytes(KGRBC) and blood monocytes were evaluated for four cytochemical reactions such as acid phosphatase(ACP), alkaline phosphatase-anti-boby(ALP-Ab), ${\alpha}$-naphthyl butyrate esterase(${\alpha}$-NBE) and peroxidase. The results obtained were as follows; In rosetted cells, the positivities of ACP in E AET-DeX, EA and EAC were 70.3%, 22.4% and 25.2%, those of ${\alpha}$-NB were 27.4%, 44.2% and 79.8%, and those of ALP-Ab were 9.5%, 88.3% and 91.5%, respectively. Whereas, the positivity for Peroxidase in monocytes was 100%. In non-rosetted (remained) cells, the positivities of ACP in E AET+DeX. EA and EAC were 41.4%, 57.2% and 61.9%, those of ${\alpha}$-NB were 38.6%, 16.5% and 18.9% and those of ALP-Ab were 98.2%, 5.3% and 6.3%, in order.

A Feasibility Study on the Abdomen Immobilization with Air Injected Balloon Blanket (공기 주입형 풍선 담요를 이용한 복부 고정 가능성 연구)

  • The demand for a better immobilization device has been increased in the radiation oncology field. Especially, it is essential to have a reliable and practical immobilization tool for the whole body radio-surgery and the IMRT(intensity modulated radiation therapy). A new method to immobilize the abdomen for the external beam radiation treatment was developed. The air-injected balloon blanket (AIBB) was designed as an immobilization device. As the air was injected into the AIBB, it pressed down the patient's abdomen and fixed the patient. The AIBB played a useful role to grab the patients' motion. Displacement of the abdomen in the anterior-posterior direction, which showed moving most during the respiration, reduced by more than 5 mm. Patients' movements from the breathing were reduced. The experimental results revealed that the AIBB could be used for the clinic.

  • 최근 사회적으로 IoT(Internet of Things, 사물인터넷)가 떠오르며 LBS(위치기반서비스) 시장에 대한 이슈로 인해 근거리 위치 인식 기술을 적용한 Beacon(비콘)이 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 이러한 관심에도 불구하고 아직 현재까지는 실질적으로 제공되는 서비스가 다양하지 않다는 문제가 있다. 우리는 본 논문에서 사용자의 라이프 스타일에 따라 다양하게 이용할 수 있는 비콘 활용 애플리케이션을 기획하였다. 이 방법은 비콘을 통해 모든 사람들에게 일괄적으로 같은 서비스를 제공하는 것이 아니라 사용자마다 자신이 지정한 다른 서비스를 제공하여 기존에 문제가 되었던 상기 문제를 해결할 수 있다. 제안하는 방법은 지정한 곳 근처에 가면 자신이 저장한 메모 알림을 주는 기능, 위치를 찾아 주는 기능, 일정 거리 내로 접근한 사용자의 정보를 기록하는 기능 등이 있어 이를 통해 유기견 방지, 아이의 하교 확인 등의 다양한 서비스를 제공할 수 있다는 점에서 효과적일 것으로 사료된다. 본 연구에서는 제안하는 방법의 기획의도 및 동기, 관련 연구 및 응용, 제안하는 방법, 예상 콘텐츠 시나리오, 기대효과, 결론을 소개하고자 한다.

  • In this article, a new approach is presented to improve the unchangeable function of a ready-made millimeter-wave antenna system. By designing a metamaterial surface appropriate for the given geometry and fixed electrical characteristics of the device, the properties of the radiated fields of the RF product are changed to have directivity and higher antenna gain. Unlike other designs using periodic metamaterials for a single patch, an aperiodic metasurface is developed to handle two patches. For a higher received signal strength and a longer RF path in the 24 GHz-radio link, an aperiodic metasurface enhances the radiated fields by 10 dB.

Development of a Robust Multiple Audio Watermarking Using Improved Quantization Index Modulation and Support Vector Machine (개선된 QIM과 SVM을 이용한 공격에 강인한 다중 오디오 워터마킹 알고리즘 개발)

  • This paper proposes a robust multiple audio watermarking algorithm using improved QIM(quantization index modulation) with adaptive stepsize for different signal power and SVM(support vector machine) decoding model. The proposed algorithm embeds watermarks into both frequency magnitude response and frequency phase response using QIM. This multiple embedding method can achieve a complementary robustness. The SVM decoding model can improve detection rate when it is not sure whether the extracted data are the watermarks or not. To evaluate robustness, 11 attacks are employed. Consequently, the proposed algorithm outperforms previous multiple watermarking algorithm, which is identical to the proposed one but without SVM decoding model, in PSNR and BER. It is noticeable that the proposed algorithm achieves improvements of maximum PSNR 7dB and BER 10%.

  • This paper describes a multiple audio watermarking using Quantization Index Modulation (QIM) on frequency phase and magnitude response. Proposed embedding procedure is composed of two stage. At the first stage, the watermark is embedded on the frequency phase response using QIM. In the second stage, the watermark is embedded using adaptive QIM with the step-size that is adaptively determined using the maximum value of the frequency magnitude response of every frame. The watermark is extracted by calculating the Euclidean distance as the blind detection. The proposed method is robust against most of attacks of audio watermark benchmarking. For the Fourier attacks, the proposed method shows over 95% recovery rate.

Comparison between Color of Cycling Clothing Brands and Color Preference of Korean Consumers (국내외 자전거용 의류 전문 브랜드의 상품색과 한국 소비자의 의류 선호색 비교)

  • Cycling has become a popular leisure activity, and many cycling enthusiasts have used cycling clothes as a form of expression, which often comes in wide range of colors. The study shows the importance of color in cycling clothing to meet the emotional needs of consumers. Furthermore, this study aims to provide comparative analysis between color of domestic and overseas cycling clothing brands, and color preference of Korean consumers in order to provide data, which can be used in satisfying consumers' needs for personal expression and emotional demands. Thus, the study expects to identify consumers' satisfaction for cycling clothing. The consumers were categorized by the frequency of cycling and their interest in fashion, and the following categories were made:potential consumers, casual cyclists with low fashion involvement, casual cyclists with high fashion involvement and frequent cyclists with high fashion involvement. Consumers preferred dark colors for their cycling clothing including jacket, top and pants, while 'frequent cyclists with high fashion involvement' preferred more diverse colors and tones. In the cycling clothing market, white and black were major colors, while red, orange and blue were major colors of chromatic color. In terms of shade, dark shade dominated the market. Comparing between preferred color and preferred product color, black was preferred for both, but no other colors showed such tendency. This study is based on empirical analysis and verification of color, which is the emotional element appealing to specific and segmented sports-apparel market. The study revealed that the data could be applicable to the design of future products.

Analysis of Designs that Applied Clothing Functionalities Related to Bicycle Riding Conditions of Domestic and Foreign Brands (자전거 주행 상황과 관련된 의류 기능성을 적용한 국내외 브랜드의 디자인 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide essential information conducive to designing efficient cycling apparel for everyday wear. To this end, this study identified key situations that cyclists face while riding their bicycles as well as clothing functions that are necessary for each situation. Furthermore, this study also analyzed the current trends in cycling apparels and hybrid designs. In order to analyze the current trends of clothing functionality in domestic and foreign cycling apparel brands, the researchers of this study first reviewed existing literature on the functionality of cycling clothing. Then a focus group, which comprised of two experts in cycling fashion brands and fourteen consumers, was formed and in-depth interviews were conducted to identify the major conditions related to bicycle riding. Based on the results of the interview, the study, then, classified 700 images of cycling clothing from exhibitions and 1,541 images of cycling clothing that were launched by domestic and foreign fashion brands. The results of this study were as follows. First, there were three major conditions in bicycle riding: night riding, weather changes and riding convenience. Second, functionalities required for each riding condition were as follows: visibility for night riding, comfort, waterproofness and heat preservation properties for weather changes, and elasticity, protective properties and storage capacity for riding convenience. Finally, hybrid designs for each riding condition were different from general designs.

세기조절방사선치료 조사면의 최소 조각 크기에 대한 치료중 표적 움직임의 효과

  • 목적 : 일반적으로 세기조절방사선치료 조사면의 작은 조각 크기에 대해, 이상적인 플루언스 지도 혹은 치료계획장치로부터의 최적화된 결과에 가까운 선량분포에서 더 좋은 leaf sequence를 얻을 수 있다. 한편, 치료중 장기의 움직임이 가장 작은 조각 크기의 선택을 방해하는 문제는 항상 존재한다. 게다가, 전통적인 정지 조사면과 달리 표적이 움직이는 동안 조사면 자체도 움직이므로 움직이는 표적에 대한 세기조절방사선치료의 경우에서 적절한 표적 마진에 관한 질문이 제기되어왔다. 따라서, 이 연구에서는 조각 크기에 대한 치료중 표적 움직임의 효과를 연구하였다. 대상 및 방법 : 세기조절방사선치료 플루언스 지도에 대해, 다양한 크기 - 0.5$\times$0.5, 1.0$\times$1.0, $1.5\times$1.5, 2.0$\times$2.0, 3.0$\times$3.0, 4.0$\times$4.0, 5.0$\times$5.0 $ extrm{cm}^2$ - 의 정사각형 패턴들을 설계하였고, Leaf sequence 는 step-and-shoot 빔 전달 방법을 이용하였다. 인접 조각들 사이의 세기 비율은 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0로 하였고, 표적 움직임은 범위가 0.5-2.0 cm인 사인곡선 형태로 가정하였다. 움직임 묘사를 위해 동적 leaf 의 움직임이 표적의 움직임 을 반영하도록 계산되었고 움직임의 효과를 분석하기 위해 필름선량측정을 수행하였다. 결과 : 인접 조각의 세기 비율은 모든 경우에서 저하되었고, 호흡 진폭의 반보다 작은 조각 크기에 대한 선량분포는 임상적으로 유의할만큼 저하된 세기 지도를 보였다. 조각에 대해 방사선 조사시간의 두 호흡주기이상에 대해서는, 표적 마진 주위의 선량분포가 통상적인 정지 조사면에서와 같았다. 결론 : 플루언스 지도에서 세기조절방사선치료 조각의 최소 크기는 치료중 장기 움직임을 고려한 후 선택되어야 한다. 조각에 대한 방사선 조사시간의 두 호흡주기이상에 대해서는, 표적 마진을 기존의 정지 조사면과 같게 정의할 수 있었다.

A Study on the BIL Bitstream Reverse-Engineering Tool-Chain Improvement (BIL 비트스트림 역공학 도구 개선 연구)

  • FPGA-based system development is being developed as a form of outsourcing that shortens the development time and reduces the cost. Through the process, the risk of letting the hardware Trojan, which causes malfunctions, seep into the system also increases. Various detection methods are proposed for the issue; however, such type of hardware Trojans is inserted by modifying a bitstream directly and therefore, it is hard to detect with the suggested methods. To detect the type of hardware Trojans, it is essential to reverse-engineer the electric circuit implemented by bitstream to a distinguishable level. Specifically, it is important to reverse-engineer the routing information of the circuit that can identify the input-output flow of the signal. In this paper, we analyze the BIL bitstream reverse-engineering tool-chain that uses the algorithm, which retrieves the routing information from FPGA bitstream, and suggest the method to improve the tool-chain.
