The purpose of the present study Is to suggest strategies for Improving cultural services provided by public libraries. First of all. it reviews missions of public Itbraries as well as meanings of these services for both the libraries and the communities they serve. It also reviews the current status of cultural services with the example of Kyonggi-Do. finally, five strategies for Improving cultural services are presented' differentiating library services from those provided by other types of cultural institutions such as museums and performing centers, as well as specifying the services In response to characteristics of the community they belong; utilizing community analysis and National Cultural Enjoyment Survey data; establishing national and regional support system; creating and Implementing library staff development programs in regards of cultural services; and finally, adopting marketing techniques in designing library cultural services.

The purposes of this study are to understand the current status of using and adoption of social network services for public libraries in Korea and to propose how to activate social network services for the libraries in the future. For this study, the usage of the social network services by 166 public libraries was investigated. In addition, surveys to 40 library representatives from the libraries were conducted and 198 public library users answered users' survey questionnaires. As methods to activate social network services in pubic libraries, providing education and training for librarians, hiring librarians for the service, and monitoring and educating the library users for participating with diversifying promotion channels for the service were suggested.

The goal of this study is to propose the plan for activating collection services of public library in Seoul. For this goal, author analyzed and compared the core infrastructure, collection services, and their correlation of public libraries in 16 local governments and evaluated environment and the current situation of collection service of public libraries in Seoul. Based on the these results, author suggested five plans or strategies for vitalizing the collection services of public libraries. All public libraries in Seoul must maximize the visibility of the new collections, supply the culture(life-long learning) programs based on library collections, expand the breadth of the collection service through library cooperation system, strengthen interlibrary loan by establishment of the collaborative repository, and raise the awareness of the citizens about the library and collections.

현재 EDI활용이 상대적으로 부진한 원인은 제도적인 문제, 독점적 사업구조에서 파생된 문제, 이용자의 정보마인드 부족 등의 다양한 요인이 상호작용한 결과로 볼 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 이러한 현상의 원인에 대한 분석을 통하여 EDI활성화를 위한 정책, 제도, 사업구조에 대한 정책적 제안을 제시하고자 한다. 즉 EDI를 활성화하기 위한 정책, 제도 및 추진방식과 서비스구도에 대한 개선방안을 제시하고자 하는 것이다.

동영상 제작 기술 및 네트워크 기술의 발전 그리고, 다양한 미디어의 출현과 더불어 네티즌의 창의적이고, 능동적인 성향이 어우러지면서 동영상 User Created Contents(UCC) 시장이 커지고 있다. 이에 동영상 UCC 전문 업체들은 시장을 주도하기 위해 치열한 기술 경쟁을 벌이고 있으나, 높은 서비스 유지비용과 광고 수입 의존도의 한계를 넘지 못하면서 파산하는 업체들이 속출하고 있다. 위와 같은 상황에서 본 연구는 동영상 UCC 활성화를 저해하는 요인 및 개선 방안들을 설문하고 이를 해석하여 동영상 UCC 발전 방향 및 활성화 방안을 제시하는데 있다. 이를 위해 본 논문은 직접 동영상 UCC업체에 종사하는 사람들을 대상으로 설문 조사를 하였으며, 배포조사법을 이용하여 설문조사 표본 133명을 대상으로 빈도분석을 이용하여 실시하였다. 분석 결과 동영상 UCC를 활성화하기 위해서는 동영상 UCC를 이용하는 이용자, 기업, 국가가 하나가 되어 의식, 기술, 정책이 변화 될 수 있도록 더욱 더 노력해야 동영상 UCC는 활성화 될 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

Although there were many activities to provide FMC (Fixed Mobile Convergence) service by several foreign countries such as United States, FMC service could not make a good success for a number of reasons for example, customers indifference and lack of needs. On the other hand, recently FMC is showing its good progress at B2B market in foreign government such as in Germany and US satisfying e-government and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) needs. This paper studies FMC service of foreign countries and as a result makes a analysis presenting issues for Korean e-government service. Also, we make several suggestions to energize FMC service success.

In this paper, we propose a steering concept that considers overall aspects in the CBSD (Component-Based Software Development) environments. While many researches which are concentrated on using components, market promotion and component development itself seem to be insufficient. To overcome this problem, we introduce a brokerage concept called“Value-Added Brokerage Concept”that provides the following three services：1) domain architecture-based component promotion, 2) intelligent component search, and 3) white-box service. Domain architecture-based component promotion facilitates balancing component production and promoting architecture-level large scale reuse. Intelligent component search enables to overcome the long time search and selection problem. Finally, white-box service is for solving maintenance problems, which is one of the most critical problem in the CBSD environments. Especially, we expect this proposed concept would be well adapted to our national environments.

텔레매틱스 서비스를 위해서는 우선 가장 기본이 되는 교통정보의 제공체계가 뒷받침되어야 하는데, 현재 우리나라의 교통정보 수집 및 제공 체계는 이를 담당하는 각 지자체 및 업체들에 따라 별도의 시스템들을 구축하고 있어 종합적이며 체계화된 정보서비스를 필요로 하는 텔레매틱스 상용화에 문제점으로 지적되고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 범국가적 차원에서 교통정보의 수집 및 활용, 통합운영ㆍ관리방안을 마련하여 종합교통정보서비스 사업을 활성화할 수 있는 체계화 방안을 제시할 필요가 있으며, 이는 텔레매틱스를 위한 통신 인프라의 국제적인 기술 방향에 따른 국가 도로체계 정보화 인프라 구축방안을 전략적으로 제시하기 위한 필수적인 요소라 할 수 있다.(중략)

This paper searches for programs for creating increased employment in local society in important occupation sectors such as education and training services, insurance and social welfare services, culture and arts, housing and environmental service fields. As part of an improvement plan, while strengthening investment in education training infrastructure for the suppliers of social services, cooperation and coordination by the public and private sectors is necessary. Also necessary are identifying model social enterprises that are based upon joint efforts for success of social enterprises and publicity efforts necessary.
