The Advertising Effect on A.I. as an Endorser: Focusing on Innovativeness and Anthropomorphism of Consumer (인공지능(A.I.)의 보증인 광고효과 분석: 수용자의 혁신성과 의인화 영향을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify whether the endorser effect similar to humans can be created in advertising campaigns based on the artificial intelligence endorser. In particular, considering the characteristics of artificial intelligence, a research model was presented by convergence of consumer innovativeness and anthropomorphism. The results of the online survey of 244 respondents showed that expertise of the artificial intelligence endorser has a positive effect on both brand attitude and purchase intention, but not for trustworthiness while it has a positive effect on brand attitude. Also, the effect of consumer innovativeness and anthropomorphism on brand attitude and purchase intention for artificial intelligence was found. The endorser effect was expanded to artificial intelligence, which is an intangible object, and the existing theory and research results were combined to re-verify it. Theoretical and practical implications for artificial intelligence-based products and services were presented.

  • Supporting communications among users, Social Network has encouraged various information flows through relationships among them. This paper studies on mentality or attitude of Social Network Services (SNS for short) users, on the basis of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM for short) and then proposes so-called TAMS, Technology Acceptance Model for Social Network Services. SNS users make full use of SNS as channels in order to create, expand, and obtain some information related to personal concerns. We will research on how the benefits that users get by using SNS exert influence on user-perceived usability. The SNS-using benefits focus on relationship benefits that are formed by interactions among users. Provided that perceived usability affects mental or informational benefits according to involvement of SNS users, we will check how perceived usability or ease of use is connected to brand attitude.

  • Since the Internet provides a way of expressing and sharing Internet users' mindsets, corporate marketers want to acquire measurable and actionable insights from web data. In the past, companies used to analyze the attitude, satisfaction, and loyalty of consumers toward their brands using survey data, whereas nowadays this is done using the big data extracted from Social Network Services. In this study, we propose a framework for clustering brand names using the social metrics gathered on social media. We also conduct a case study of the automobile industry to verify the feasibility of the proposed framework. We calculate the brand name distance for each pair of brand names based on the total number of times that they are mentioned together. These distances are used to project the brand name onto a 3-dimensional space using multidimensional scaling. After the projection, we found the clusters of brand names and identified the characteristics of each cluster. Furthermore, we concluded this paper with a discussion of the limitations and future directions of this research.

  • IT기술의 발전과 스마트기기의 대중화로 인한 정보통신기술의 눈부신 발전으로 온라인 플랫폼을 통한 식품구매 비중이 급격히 증가하여 온·오프라인의 경계를 없어지고 있다. 더군다나 COVID-19 팬데믹은 반조리식품, 밀키트 등 홈쿡(Home-cook) 온라인시장을 급격히 확산시키며 소비자 구매추세를 오프라인에서 온라인으로 완전히 바꿔놓는 전환점이 되었다. 이런 트랜드를 반영하듯 다양한 온라인 식자재 이커머스 플랫폼의 출현하면서 브랜드마다 각각의 차별점을 내세우고 있으나 경쟁은 치열해지고 차별화는 더욱 어려운 게 현실이다. 이는 기업이 소비자에게 일방향으로 정보 또는 상품 및 서비스를 제공 하는 수직적 관계가 아닌, 수평적 쌍방향 관계로의 발전으로 이어져 브랜드가 가지고 있는 가치에 대해 보다 정직하게 보여주어야 소비자의 신뢰를 얻을 수 있게 되었다(Kotler, 2017). 또한, 과거에 소비자들의 만족도가 높았던 서비스도 현재 환경에서는 소비자의 니즈를 충족시키지 못하는 경우가 증가하고 있다(조윤오, 2018). 이는 서비스에 대한 소비자의 기대와 니즈가 지속적으로 변화하고 있다는 것을 의미하며, 이에 따라 기업은 소비자들의 새로운 요구를 만족시키기 위하여 다양한 서비스를 개발 및 제공하는 것이 중요하다고 사료된다(김광재 등, 2011). 이미 높은 인지도를 가진 플랫폼일지라도 지속가능한 우위를 선점하기 어려운 상황에서 온라인 플랫폼에 대한 소비자의 긍정적인 태도와 재구매를 유도하기 위해 제품 본질 뿐 아니라 서비스 차별화를 꾀하고 있고 차별화된 포지션을 차지하기 위해 온라인 플랫폼에 대한 소비자 인식과 서비스 품질 요인을 측정하여 고객이 중시하는 요인에 집중하는 것이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 온라인 플랫폼을 통해 식자재를 구매하는 소비자의 꾸준한 방문과 구매를 유인하기 위해 어떤 변수의 영향력을 높여야 소비자 재구매의도를 증가시킬 수 있는지 방법을 모색하고 온라인 플랫폼 기업 및 스타트업의 경영전략 마련에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 식자재 구매 플랫폼 품질속성, 서비스품질 정도,, 충성도의 전반적인 영향관계를 파악하는 연구 과제를 설정하고, 식자재 이커머스 온라인 플랫폼 이용 전반에 대한 평가를 실시할 예정이다. 이러한 과정을 통해 도출된 결과는 식자재 이커머스 플랫폼 운영 전략을 세우는데 유용한 자료가 될 것이라 기대하며, 기존의 온라인 식품구매 플랫폼의 서비스품질 요인과 소비자 행동 간의 관계를 설명하는 것과는 다른 새로운 시사점을 제공할 수 있다는 측면에서 의미 있는 연구가 될 것이다. 또한, 다양한 산업에서의 플랫폼 비지니스 모델 적용을 위한 전략 수립을 하는 데에 필요한 기초자료를 마련하고자 한다.

Effect of Influencers' Product-Usage Videos upon Brand Attitude and Purchase Intention (인플루언서의 패션 제품 사용 영상이 브랜드 태도와 구매의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This work tries to empirically validate the effect of influencers' product-usage videos upon brand attitude and purchase intention of consumers. More specifically, we choose 3 attributes of product-usage videos of influencers such as expertise, trustworthiness, and attractiveness from our literature review. We collect 200 survey questionnaires in 2019 using Google survey forms from subjects who have watched influencers' usage videos of fashion items. Our results suggest that expertise and trustworthiness of influencers' videos positively affect brand attitude of consumers, which in turn positively influence their purchase intention. However, we have not found significant effect of attractiveness of the videos upon brand attitude. We also confirm that brand attitude positively affect purchase intention as proposed in the literature. The practical implications of this work is that firms should focus and strengthen expertise and trustworthiness of videos rather than attractiveness in order to enhance purchase intention of consumers and eventually lead to their purchase behavior.

Relationship Dissolution of On-line Brand Community Users (온라인 브랜드 커뮤니티에서의 관계단절행동)

  • Most of studies concerned with on-line Brand community show that it makes users to increase their brand loyalty and brand attachment. But it wouldn't be explained that on-line brand community could be the field of consumer's public complaining in service failure. So, this study tried to focus the dimensions of negative emotions and customer characteristics that may cause relationship dissolutions in on-line brand community. The findings of the present study following as, high relationship quality of on-line brand community user directly effects negative emotions, especially, disappointment and betrayal. second, disappointment and betrayal influences the desire of revenge. Third, customer's negative reactions (for example, negative replies about the brand or public complaining in community) are mediated by customer's desire of revenge. The analysis was held with brand community customers who has been experienced service recently by using SPSS14K and Smart PLS 2.0. The study verified the structural equation model hypothesizing the between emotional factors and negative reactions. In conclusion, this article provides implications into understanding of customer's negative emotions and user's characteristics that cause negative reactions in on-line brand community. thus, this may allow marketers to have managerial insights on handling of on-line brand community independently operated by consumers.

The Influence of Service Quality Factors on Reuse Intention (항공사의 유·무형, 인적서비스 품질요인이 재이용의도에 미치는 영향 : 항공사 브랜드 및 브랜드태도의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • Purpose - This study's aims are to examine the effects of airline service quality on brand image, brand attitude and reuse intention and the mediating roles of brand image and brand attitude in the relationship between airline service quality and reuse intention. Research design, data and methodology - A total of 500 questionnaire copies were distributed and 474 were used for the empirical study after excluding some empirical inappropriate or unusable ones. To analyze the collected data, the SPSS/WIN 22.0 statistical package was used. Results - The result of analysis showed that all the intangible, tangible and human elements of the airline service quality positively influenced on brand image and brand attitude and did not directly influence on reuse intention. However, brand image and brand attitude played mediating roles in the relationship between all the service quality elements and reuse intention. Conclusions - This means that airlines need to develop service quality, which is differentiated and provides special feelings for customers and work out improvement strategies for positive brand images and attitudes, since customers choose and reuse airlines, based on brand images and attitudes, which are perceived and formed through the experience of airline service quality and word of mouth.

  • In this paper, the method of analyzing the unformatted data of consumers accumulated on social networks in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution by utilizing data from the service design and social psychology aspects was proposed. First, the fandom phenomenon, which shows subjective and collective behavior in a space on a social network rather than physical space, was defined from a data service perspective. The fandom model has been transformed into a collective level of customer Persona that has been analyzed at a personal level in traditional service design, and social network analysis that analyzes consumers' big data has been presented as an efficient way to pattern and visually analyze it. Consumer data collected through social leasing were pre-processed by column based on correlation, stability, missing, and ID-ness. Based on the above data, the company's brand strategy was divided into active and passive interventions and the effect of this strategic attitude on the growth direction of the consumer's fandom community was analyzed. To this end, the fandom model of consumers was proposed by dividing it into four strategies that the brand strategy had: stand-alone, decentralized, integrated and centralized, and the fandom shape of consumers was proposed as a growth model analysis technique that analyzes changes over time.

A Study Regarding the Effects of Direction of Comments about Online Reviews and Credibility of Web Sites on Brand Attitudes Toward Services : Comparison between Korean and Chinese Cases (댓글의 방향성과 웹사이트의 신뢰성이 서비스 브랜드 태도와 구매의도에 미치는 영향 : 한국과 중국비교)

  • The purpose of the study is to investigate the effects of direction of comments about online reviews and the credibility of web sites on brand attitudes toward restaurants. Also, the study compared two study results using Korean and Chinese on-line users to assess the feasibility of the application of on-line marketing developed in Korea to Chinese internet user contexts. The results show that the credibility of web sites and the direction of comments influence the brand attitude as hypothesized. Overall, the results from two country consumer groups are similar. However, there are unique results including the significant interaction effects between the direction of comments and the credibility of web sites only for Chinese on-line users on the brand evaluation tasks and for Korean on-line users on the purchase intention. The cultural value might cause these different results across the nations.

Effect of the Consumer's Perception of the University Foodservice Quality on the Consumer Attitude (대학교 급식소의 급식서비스 품질에 대한 인식이 소비자태도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the consumer's perception of the subject to manage the foodservice operation in the university, and to analyze the effects of consumer's perception of the university foodservice qualify on intent to revisit and intent to recommend. The questionnaires were distributed to 575 students in the K University located in Masan, who were sampled by proportionate stratified sampling method. The surveys were peformed from May 17 to June 2, 2005. The 566 questionnaires were responded, and 6 unusable questionnaires were excluded, then 560 were used for the final analysis (response rate: 97.4%). For the statistical analysis, SPSS (12.0) was used to conduct the descriptive analysis, factor analysis reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study were as follows: First 254 respondants (47.3%) did not know that their foodservice operation was managed by contract foodservice company, and 374 students (66.8%) did not know the name of the contract foodservice company which runned their foodservice operation. Second, the food factor of university foodservice quality had a significant positive effect on intent to revisit (P<0.001), and the food factor of university foodservice quality also had a significant positive effect on Intent to recommend (p<0.001). It was concluded that as the food factor of university foodservice qualify Increased, the intent to revisit and the intent to recommend the university foodservice increased. So when university foodservice managers plan the foodservice operation strategy, they should focus on increasing the perception of customers' foodservice quality and also advertising contract foodservice company's brand name.
