The Effect of Awareness of Service Quality in Tourist Destinations on Tourist Satisfaction - To use the Quality of Service of a Guide as a Parameter - (관광지 서비스 품질 의식이 관광객 만족에 미치는 영향 -가이드의 서비스 품질을 매개변수로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the influence of service quality perception of scenic spots on tourists' satisfaction, and analyze the intermediary role of tour guide explanation quality in it. Questionnaire survey was conducted among tourists and tour guides in six scenic spots in Qingdao, China. The time is from March 1 to April 1, 2024, a total of 502 questionnaires were distributed, and finally 384 valid questionnaires were screened out, data samples were collected. After that, the reliability and validity of the data were tested, correlation analysis and regression analysis by using statistical software SPSS 26.0. The results show that there is a significant positive correlation between the perception of service quality in scenic spots and tourists satisfaction, and the professionalism, interactivity and environmental facilities of scenic spots directly affect the overall satisfaction of tourists. The quality of tour guide explanation plays an intermediary role, and high-quality explanation can significantly improve the satisfaction of tourists. Therefore, in order to effectively improve tourists satisfaction, scenic spot managers should not only pay attention to and improve infrastructure and service quality, but also pay attention to the training and guidance of tour guides to improve their professional level and service quality.

The Effects of Service Characteristics of Maritime Telemedicine on Seafarer's Satisfaction and Loyalty (해양원격의료의 서비스 특성이 선원만족도 및 충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • The objective of this study was to analyze the effect of characteristics of maritime telemedicine (service quality, recognition or not of service, health counselling service experience or not) on seafarer's satisfaction, and also analyze the effect of seafarer's satisfaction on loyalty. This study's data was collected from the Research Report of Survey of telemedicine service subjects in 2017 conducted in the maritime telemedicine pilot project. However, only 103 seafarers who received maritime telemedicine (Tele-Monitering) services were analyzed statistically. The main results of this study were as follows. ⅰ) Better service quality led to higher levels of satisfaction, ii) High levels of seafarer's satisfaction led to high levels of loyalty, iii) Seafarers whose age is under 50 than 30 years old are less satisfied, ⅳ) In total boarding career, Seafarers with more than 5 years but less than 10 years were more satisfied than seafarers with less than 5 years, ⅴ) Seafarers with more than 10 years but less than 15 years were more satisfied than seafarers with less than 5 years, ⅵ) Seafarers with more than 15 years but less than 20 years were more satisfied than seafarers with less than 5 years, ⅶ) Also, Seafarers in excess of 20 years were more satisfied than seafarers with less than 5 years, In conclusion, ⅰ) Better service quality led to higher levels of satisfaction and loyalty. Accordingly, the improvement of service quality is not only an important factor in improving satisfaction and loyalty, but also plays an important role in forming a positive image of maritime telemedicine. ⅱ) Seafarers with younger age and lower overall total boarding career were more satisfied. It is believed that the seafarer who are willing to use telemedicine and who are willing to refer to others are young.

  • After researching users'satisfaction on central library service of Daejin university, it shows that they are generally satisfied with facilities but not with the service that supports library use, and satisfied with a book and serial Publications but not with others including thesis. Also, it is shown that librarians in communication with users are insufficient, and their professionalism and capacity are acknowledged but their insincerity and perfunctory attitude are viewed negative to users. Therefore librarians need to actively promote their service to users. Besides, it will be beneficial for librarians to use bulletin board of homepage as a way to continuously reflect claims and complaints from users.

  • This study investigates the influences of the service qualify of public libraries, including printed publications, internet and electronic materials, culture programs and. service, library environment and facilities, and library staff, on the general satisfaction of the users, complaining intentions, and loyalty including reuse intentions. It develops a library user satisfaction model and testifies it through path analysis using questionnaires from 443 public library users in Daegu Metropolitan City area. This study shows that service qualities of printed publications, culture programs and service, library environment and facilities, and library staff Influence significantly on the general satisfaction of the users, and that service quality of library environment and facilities is the major variable which influences satisfaction and loyalty of the public library.

  • This is a descriptive study to investigate influencing factors of job satisfaction among nurses of comprehensive nursing care ward. The participants were 114 nurses working in comprehensive nursing care ward. Collected data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that professional self-concept and teamwork were influencing factors of job satisfaction. Therefore, in order to improve job satisfaction of nurses in comprehensive nursing care ward, education and policy support to improve professional self-concept and teamwork. are needed.

Factors Affecting the Satisfaction Level of Orthodontic Patients with Dental Service (교정환자의 치과의료서비스 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the satisfaction level of orthodontic patients with medical service in a bid to provide information on the diverse needs of orthodontic patients and the improvement of the competitiveness of dental institutions. The subjects in this study were 226 orthodontic patients who visited Y and B dentist's offices respectively located in Busan and Daegu. A survey was conducted from December 3 to 20, 2008, and SPSSWIN 14.0 program was utilized to analyze the collected data. The findings of the study were as follows: 1. As to the reason why they chose the dentist's offices, the greatest group made that choice through the recommendation of people around them(50.7%). Approximately half them(47.8%) tended to talk about grievances when they had any, and the greatest group(58.3%) expected to have a regular set of teeth when they received orthodontic treatment (58.3%). And the largest group(80.9%) expected that treatment to improve their oral health a lot. The greatest group(70.6%) wanted to receive whitening treatment after completing orthodontic treatment. 2. As to factors significantly affecting their satisfaction level with treatment service, satisfaction level with the employees(dental hygienists) had the most significant impact, followed by satisfaction with amenities, medical fee, dentists and friendliness. 3. Their satisfaction level with medical fee exerted the most influence on intention of Recommendation offices they visited to others, followed by satisfaction with dentists and employees(dental hygienists).

  • This paper analyses the results of the survey questionnaires which are made for logistics services users in Shanghai, China. Based an 158 valid users' responses, the study results show that the typical outsourcing logistics users prefer to set up long term relationship with providers and buy services from multiple providers. Most users are satisfied with their providers and believe that outsourcing logistics services has led to positive impact on their customer satisfaction, logistics service levels and revenue improvement. Price levers, core competences, reputation are critical in the selection of an outsourcing logistics provider for users in this study. This study indicates that the market for 3PL services in China has a reasonable potential fur further development, though 3PL practices are still at a nascent stage in China. This paper presents full details and implications of the results of th£ survey and then provides some helpful suggestion for th£ development of Chinese logistics industry and Chinese logistics companies.

Effect of the Facility Satisfaction, Anxiety, Self-esteem, Stress, and Depression of the Elderly in Care Facilities on Their Life Satisfaction (요양시설 입소노인의 시설 만족도, 불안, 자아존중감, 스트레스, 우울이 생활만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined how the facility satisfaction, anxiety, self-esteem, stress, and depression of the elderly in care facilities affect their life satisfaction. The objects of the study were 271 elderly in 8 care facilities located in Seoul and associated areas. The results of a questionnaire, which was carried out from the 10th March to 25th August 2013, were analyzed. For data analysis, a t-test, one-way variance analysis, correlation analysis, and proof analysis on the SPSSWIN 18.0 program was conducted at the significance level of 5%. The analysis revealed the following. First, there were differences in the life satisfaction depending on age, sex, education level, and marital status. Second, life satisfaction was related to service satisfaction, medical service satisfaction, facility environment satisfaction, and self-esteem. Third, life satisfaction was higher if self-esteem, service satisfaction and facility environment satisfaction were higher, and if the family relationship stress was lower. Overall, self-esteem, service satisfaction, and facility environment satisfaction of the admitted elderly were positive influential factors of life satisfaction.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine how university librarians utilize the information service in their library tasks by using computer telecommunication network. As a sample group, 215 librarians from 11 university libraries are selected. This study analyzes the purposes and the levels of utilization by the types of information services and the satisfaction. In addition, the application of telecommunication information service in library tasks and the relationship between them are also presented.

Effects of Festival Service Quality on Perceived Satisfaction of Festival and Word-of-mouth(WOM) (축제 서비스품질과 지각된 축제만족, 구전의도와의 영향관계)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the festival tourists for "Yeoju Ogoknaru Festival". There is also effects analysis of service quality on perceived satisfaction for behavioral intention. This study used questionnaires to Yeoju Ogoknaru Festival festival participant, adopted the designated random sampling in the active site, a total of 177 valid questionnaires. The data were descriptive statistics and Structure Equation modeling analysis. This study found that; Physical service factor was not effect on tourist satisfaction and positive word of mouth. Programme service and Personal service quality directly positive effect on perceived satisfaction and WOM. The programme service variable of the festival had the greatest impact on overall satisfaction of festival tourists. The more satisfied tourists are with the festival the more likely they are to recommend in subsequent festivals. Based on these results, study can offer some valuable insights for festival planners and organizers to better manage their festival programme and volunteer service to such an extent that the experiences of festival visitors are maximized, perceived satisfactions are enhanced, and revisits to future festivals facilitated.
