This study investigates user experiences of reward-based mini-games, gamified elements within the domestic mobile commerce sector. Recently, gamification marketing strategies have been actively employed in mobile commerce services to attract customers, increase dwell time, and enhance revisit rates. Conducting research on user experiences of gamified elements, we quantified evaluations of how users perceive these elements within mobile commerce. Using enjoyment, immersion, rewards, value, and utility as criteria, we designed a questionnaire and conducted surveys, followed by 1:1 in-depth interviews with users aged 20 to 40. The experimental results highlight the need for strategies to increase user satisfaction in terms of enjoyment and immersion, as well as the necessity to enhance user experiences related to predictable reward systems and product exploration to facilitate product purchases. It is hoped that this study will provide insights for companies seeking to incorporate gamified elements into their marketing strategies and improve user experiences.
A foot pedal switch in the diagnosis x-ray radiography system has been researched to improve radiologic technologist works and patient satisfaction. The switch has been installed in the diagnosis x-ray radiography system used in domestic clinics. Quantitative evaluation has been conducted by measuring the exposure dose reproducibility test, tube voltage, mAs, and percentage average error. Qualitative evaluation has been conducted by analysis of the radiologic technologists questionnaire. In the quantitative evaluation for the use of the foot pedal switch, the coefficient of variation was less than 0.05 in the exposure dose reproducibility test. In the mAs test, percentage average error of ${\pm}20%$ was measured. There was no problem raised since it meets the all inspection standards of the diagnosis x-ray generator. In the qualitative evaluation, most of the opinions are that it has a clinical value for the foot pedal switch in the diagnosis x-ray radiography system. Therefore, developing the foot pedal switch for the diagnosis x-ray radiography system can improve effectively the rapidity and accuracy of the radiologic technologist work. In addition, it is effective in decreasing the x-ray exposure of patients and increasing satisfaction for the medical service due to reduction of retaking x-ray.
To induce container cargos to Gunsan port, we should struggle on securing the quantity of goods transported from the competitive Jeonbuk and Chungcheong areas by reducing transportation expenses by land, and make an activating plan for the international exchange between Gunsan port and nearby ports in China. As a result, if the plan to induce container cargos to Gunsan port is activated, the regular liners will stop at Gusan port. So the new sea route will be opened so that consignors can ship cargos in the proper time. The consignors will use Gunsan port frequently because of the reduction of distribution expenses. To do so, for the first, many incentives should be implemented to attract container cargos. In addition, various facilities should be fully equipped and improved. This paper is to improve the problems for which consignors, the shipping lines and forwarders may feel uncomfortable when they use Gunsan port. According to the research on the actual condition, the biggest problem in Gunsan port is the depth of water. The management, relation system, infrastructure and information system of Gunsan port are also insufficient. Therefore, this paper will make an alternative plan to improve these problems and help the container cargos induce to Gunsan port.
The purpose of this research is showing an appropriate way of maximizing customer service and establishing VOC system by analyzing different voices from complaining customers as well as loyal customers. This research is also aimed at figuring out how companies can implement effective service marketing methods in the field complying with customers' needs and how they can survive in the competition. The range of research is confined to 5 marketing companies and their web-sites on which customers can get logged and directly post their claims. These web-sites showed how those 5 companies cope with customer claims. A questionnaire research was made in A's store to evaluate customer satisfaction. These are conclusions drawn by this research. First, prompt reactions of sincerity to customers' claims contribute to building favorable corporate images. Second, the preference to VOC channels varies with age and sex. Marketers should implement respectively different channels for customers under age 30 and those over age 40. Women have a tendency to prefer instant phone conversations and want to have their claims well listened to. Third, a series of shift in customer trend drives companies into establishing their own interactive VOC systems based on customers' preferences. Customer-oriented management has become a key factor for survival in recent intensely competitive market situation, as the web-based e-commerce market has been rapidly growing accompanied with a dramatic advance of network marketing methods. This research suggests some practical methods to establish a customer-oriented VOC system that can be easily adopted in the field.
This study aims to investigate the mental health level of the elderly people living alone and examine the difference in mental health level by socio-demographic factors and analyze the factors impacting on mental health level. The study subjects were 131 elderly people living alone who lived in "G" city. Symptom Check List-90-Revision(SCL-90-R) was used to measure mental health level. The results of this study were as follows. First, the study subjects' mental health level(3.53, 5 rating scale) was very severe and this means the mental health level of elderly people living alone is more severe than the mental health level of general elderly people. The study subjects showed depression symptom most seriously and also had severe somatization symptom. Second, there was significant difference in mental health level by gender and education level among socio-demographic factors. Third, in the final regression model, statistically significant factors impacting on the mental health level of the elderly people living alone were life satisfaction, ADL, IADL, welfare service support, informal support, contact frequency with children, duration of living alone, subjective state of economy. And comprehensive(macro and micro) implications were recommended.

This aims to study impact of the youth start-up business incubating system by government's or local autonomous governments' center on start-up business performance. This focus on Youth Start-Up Business Support Program operated by Seoul Metropolitan City and explore practical alternatives. In this study, young entrepreneurs are defined as those who are aged between 20 and 40, and start-up is defined as an act by such entrepreneur that establishes an organization or system that produces any goods or services selected as business idea by utilizing capital in order to create profits. The empirical results are as follow; a significant correlation between scale of capital in initial stage by young entrepreneur graduating from Start-Up Business Support Center and start-up success satisfaction by young entrepreneurs. There is a significant correlation between the number of obtained intellectual properties before moving into Start-Up Business Support Center and start-up success satisfaction by young entrepreneurs. There is a significant correlation between the degree of satisfaction on start-up activity support fund for young entrepreneur in Start-Up Business Support Center and start-up success satisfaction by young entrepreneurs. There is a significant correlation between the degree of satisfaction on promotion and territorial cultivation support activities for young entrepreneur in Start-Up Business Support Center and start-up success satisfaction by young entrepreneurs. There is a significant correlation between the degree of satisfaction on collaboration support among member firms for young entrepreneur in Start-Up Business Support Center and start-up success satisfaction by young entrepreneurs. There is a significant correlation between the degree of overall satisfaction on start-up business support program for young entrepreneur in Start-Up Business Support Center and start-up success satisfaction by young entrepreneurs. The study has an implication that it provides a basic data on policy support strategies by central and local autonomous governments that facilitate young entrepreneurs to achieve start-up business goals by understanding the factors that affect the business performance of young entrepreneurs. In addition, the study offers an effective direction for young entrepreneurs in a way that promotes the start-up performance by young entrepreneurs, which expects to contribute to core factors of new employment opportunity creation as well as national and local economies, so that the author expects the study to play a role of raising the necessity of start-up business support for young entrepreneurs.
Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the perception regarding palliative care among Korean doctors and referral barriers toward palliative care for terminal cancer patients. Methods: Between May and June 2010, 477 specialists mainly caring cancer patients using a web-based, self-administered questionnaire. Results: A total of 128 doctors (26.8%) responded. All respondents (100%) deemed palliative care a necessary service for terminal cancer patients. More than 80% of the respondents agreed to each of the following statements: all cancer centers should provide palliative care service (80.5%); all terminal cancer patients should receive concurrent palliative care along with anti-cancer therapies (89.1%) and caring for terminal cancer patients requires interdisciplinary approach (96.9). While more than 58% of the respondents were satisfied with their performance of physical and psychological symptoms management and emotional support provided by patient's family members, 64% of the responded answered that their general management of the end-of-life care was less than satisfactory. Doctors without prior experience in referring their patients to palliative care specialists accounted for 26.6% of the respondents. The most common barrier to hospice referral, cited by 47.7% of the respondents, was "refusal of patient or family member", followed by "lack of available palliative care resources" (46.1%). Conclusion: Although most doctors do recognize the importance of palliative care for advanced cancer patients, comprehensive and sufficient palliative medicine, including interdisciplinary cooperation and end-of-life care, has not been put into practice. Thus, more active palliative consultation or referral is needed for effective care of terminal cancer patients.
This research examined use rate and profitability of equipment in hospital scale with about 500 beds to present data including to review before introducing PACS with the checklist included in preparation and proposal based on expected profit suggested by operation department and cost and use rate of the expensive medical equipment were analyzed. It was proved that profit was generated in the research subject hospital if PACS is introduced. Three to five year of lease is proper for the purchase method of medical equipment. Profit after two year of use will surpass investment cost and generate clear profit. Based on the profit generated from operation of radiology department, the purchase amount to introduce PACS at the hospital will be retrieved after about 1.9 years for the investment. The number of reshoot test at radiology department will be decreased and film, development, and fixer will not be necessary to buy so the operation cost will be reduced. Moreover, other than actual profit increased, the hospital can improve its reputation and employees can reduce their works and get better working environment with less stress. Their job satisfaction will be increased so they can improve service quality and it is good for marketing strategy of the hospital. As a result of this research, it was proved that the small and general hospital should have expected profit with introduction of PACS and analyze its contribution to treatment service and profit after the purchase. Then, the hospital should make a proposal for introduction of the medical equipment and establish effective operation plan.
This study aims to suggest key strategy for successful establishment of LIS (Land Information System). Survey questionnaires on casual and outcome factors for LIS establishment are distributed to the LIS users and developers. Analysis results show that user participation has statistically significant, positive effect on business efficiency, user satisfaction, data sharing and services. Government support and developer technical skill are appeared to be the two important factors for improving the business efficiency and user satisfaction of LIS. Based on such results, this study suggests different strategies for successful development and implementation of LIS, including the definition of users' role and their proactive participation, visionary guide and support by government, cooperative relationship based government support and user participation, sufficient technology for land informatization. This study contributes to systematic organization of situational factors of South Korea's LIS towards its achievements. The results of this study could also be utilized for strengthening global competitiveness of the domestic geospatial information firms, in particular in supporting the development of land information projects in developing countries.
This study was aimed at investigating important factors influencing career success among disabled workers. The current researcher scrutinized the degree to which variables and factors affect the career success and occupational turnover rates of the research participants. The participants in this study (n=837) were 374 workers with disabilities and 463 workers without disabilities. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: First, the results of factor analysis showed important categories of conceptual themes of career success. The initial conceptual factor model did not accord with the empirical one. Second, both research participant groups seemed to be influenced by their occupational types. However, all predictive variables excluding the wage rate and the average length of work years had significant impact on job success for the disabled work group, while all the variables excluding the frequency of advice and length of working years had significant impact on job success for the non-disabled worker group. Third, the turnover rate was significantly influenced by the age and the experience of turnover of the research participants. However, the number of co-workers was the strongest predictive variable for the worker group with disabilities, but the occupation choice variable for the worker group without disabilities. Fifth, as a result of verifying the hypothetical path model, it showed that the first model was somewhat proper and could predict the career success on both research participant groups. In conclusion, the following research implications can be suggested. The occupational type of research participants was one of the most important variables to predict the career success for both research participant groups.
