Recently, various researches have been studied to support service-oriented IoT networking. This is because the IoT environment coexists with various service devices for providing the service in a certain unified area. Thus, in this network environment, an effective data delivery service is not provided in a network configuration. Also, in order to provide efficient IoT services in this network environment, new scheme is necessary to recognize services by themselves and to construct network structures for each service. In this paper, we propose a service oriented self-constructive network (SO-SCN) scheme that can construct a service-oriented network in IoT environments composed of various service devices. The proposed scheme is a method that can minimize the network overhead required for service provisioning and extend the network lifetime. Through simulation, we show that the proposed service oriented self-construction network scheme improves the performance, in terms of the number of packets generated for end-to end data transmission and the end-to-end delay.

본 논문에서는 무선 이동 ATM 네트워크에서 무선채널 상태를 고려하면서 가상목적지와 가상소스를 이용한 효율적인 ABR트래픽 흐름제거 기법을 제안한다. ABR서비스는 높은 우선순위를 갖는 실시간 서비스에 의해 사용되지 않는 유휴대역폭을 효율적으로 사용하는 서비스로, 셀손실에 특히 민감하다. ABR서비스는 대역폭의 효율적인 활용으로 기존ATM네트워크에서 널리 사용되고 있으며, 무선 이동ATM네트워크에서도 이러한 ABR서비스의 제공이 중요하다고 하겠다. 기존 ATM네트워크에서는 효율적인 ABR서비스를 위한 흐름제어기법으로서 RM(Resource Management)셀의 피드백을 이용한 전송율기반 폭주제어 기법을 사용하고 있으나, 이 방식을 무선네트워크에 그대로 적용했을 경우, 심각한 대역폭의 낭비를 가져올 수 있다. 따라서 제안된 기법은 무선 이동네트워크에서 RM셀의 전송을 억제하고 ATM스위치에 의해 MT(Movile terminal)의 ACR을 결정하게 하여 기지국을 통해 단말기로 전송하도록 하였다. ABR트래픽은 MT에서 고정호스트로 전송된다고 가정하고 시뮬레이션을 수행하여, 그 성능을 분석하였다. 성능분석 결과, 제안된 기법은 무선네트워크의 대역폭을 낭비하지 않으면서 링크의 혼잡도를 최소화하여 채널상태에 따라 효율적으로 전송율을 조절할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

M2M 서비스는 센서 네트워크의 데이터 수집 및 제어를 넘어서는 새로운 타입의 서비스이다. M2M 서비스는 홈 네트워크 디바이스, 사용자의 스마트 디바이스, 개인 컴퓨터 등을 이용하여 스마트 환경의 감시, 관리, 그리고 제어 등을 제공하는 새로운 서비스 타입이다. 오늘날 M2M 서비스를 제공하기 위한 연구들이 진행되고 있는데, 이를 제공하기 위한 플랫폼 연구는 아직 많이 부족한 현실이다. 따라서 본 논문은 서비스 오버레이 네트워크를 이용하여 M2M 서비스를 제공하기 위한 플랫폼 구조를 제안한다. 또한 다양한 M2M 서비스들을 조합하여 새로운 서비스를 사용자에게 제공할 수 있는 서비스 컴포지션 방법 및 절차를 제안한다. 서비스 오버레이 네트워크 플랫폼을 이용한 M2M 서비스 플랫폼은 사용자에게 향상된 서비스 기능, 범용성, 호환성, 그리고 지능화 및 능동적 기능을 제공할 수 있다.

본 고는 통신의 진화 방향인 통합(convergence)의 추세에 관하여 논한다. 통합 서비스를 위한 기본 인프라인 광대역 통합망(BcN, Broadband convergence Network)의 개념, 서비스 특징 및 발전방향 등을 기술한다. 통합은 서비스, 네트워크, 비즈니스 등의 통합으로 실현되고 있다. 광대역 통합망은 유무선 통합, 통신과 방송 융합, 음성 및 데이터의 통합을 위해 필요한 네트워크를 서비스 계층, 제어 계층, 전달망 계층, 접속 계층, 유비쿼터스 접속 및 가입자 단말 계층으로 구분한다. BcN은 사용자가 원하는 품질과 보안의 정도에 따라 차별화된 광대역 멀티미디어 서비스 제공 및 관리가 가능한 네트워크이다. 먼저, 무선 네트워크에서의 광대역 멀티미디어 서비스의 특징 및 종류, 이를 위한 광대역 통합망의 특징을 살펴보고, 향후 BcN으로의 진화 방향을 살펴본다. 그리고 향후 통신 서비스의 진화 방향인 유비쿼터스 서비스를 위해 필요한 유비쿼터스 네트워크를 전망하고, 미래의 유비쿼터스 네트워크를 위한 지능형 플랫폼, 통합 단말, USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) 등 기술적 요구사항들과 진화방향을 제시한다.

지역복지계에서 대상자별 서비스 네트워크는 매우 중요한 일이다. 그 이유로 각 기관 및 단체간 서비스 재원 및 인력의 상호 협력과 중복성의 조정에 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자 한국종교계사회복지협회, 한국사회복지협의회, 복지재단, 자원봉사단체 등의 전문가들이 협력하여 구성한 ‘복지서비스 네트워크’가 바로 ‘주민 통합서비스 실현을 위한 전국 네트워크’의 모태가 된다고 할 수 있다.

Companies see a new business opportunity in the increased popularity of social network services and the related studies are also gaining more attention. This study attempted to analyze the social networks and thereby find a pattern in the use of social network services. Network users' pattern has been categorized by their purpose of use. Among various social network services, we selected the Facebook and its users were analyzed by a network analysis tool called NodeXL. In the end, several subgroups have been identified in a seemingly homogeneous network. Furthermore, the network shape differences according to the usage of social network services has been studied by comparing "friends" of an individual Facebook user with those of the K University Facebook page.

1968년 ARPA 네트워크의 출현 이후 음성 서비스 위주의 네트워크와 데이터 서비스 위주의 네트워크는 서로의 서비스를 수용하기 위해 노력해왔다. 음성 기반의 네트워크에서 데이터를 수용하기 위한 노력은 ‘꿈의 망’으로 그친 ISDN(Integrated Services Digital Network)으로 나타났고, 데이터 기반의 네트워크에서 음성을 수용하기 위한 노력은 보편적인 비연결형 데이터 서비스와는 대비되는 B-ISDN(Broadband-ISDN)으로 나타났다. 이후 다시 B-ISDN은 IP 서비스의 수용을 위해 ATM 교환기를 MPLS(Multi Protocol Label Switching) 교환기로 대치하여 보완하고 있지만, VoIP(Voice over IP)등 음성서비스의 제공에는 아직 완전한 해법이 제시되지 못하고 있다.(중략)

본 논문은 유비쿼터스 환경에서 리소스가 제한적인 이동통신 단말기 등에서 하위 네트워크 프로토콜이나 전송방식에 독립적인 서비스 발견을 위한 프레임웍을 설계하는데 있다. 이 연구의 접근은 Jini라는 서비스 프레임웍을 모바일 디바이스에 맞게 경량화하고 이 프레임웍에 다양한 Ad-hoc 전송 계층을 추가할 수 있도록 확장 가능한 Jini 서비스 프레임웍 제공함으로써 기존에 서비스가 가지던 네트워크 전송계층의 의존성을 극복하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 Bluetooth 전송기술을 하나의 Ad-hoc 네트워크 모델로 삼아 Jini 프레임웍 내에서 STL(Service Translation Layer)를 추가함으로써 Jini를 통한 Ad-hoc 네트워크에서 서비스 발견을 가능토록 하였다.

We consider design of multiservice network link, in which connections of constant- and adaptive-rate services arrive and leave dynamically. We propose performance analysis and design methods of these dynamic multiservice networks. A multiservice network link is modeled by a Markov chain, and data rates for adaptive-rate connections are derived using QBD (Quasi-Birth-Death) processes and matrix-geometric equations. We estimate average number of adaptive-rate connections, average data rate and average connection delay. The performance of constant-rate connections is determined from the blocking probability of the connections. Based on the performance of constant-and adaptive- rate connections, we propose a design methods of a network link to satisfy performance requirements of constant- and adaptive-rate connections (data rates, delay, blocking probability). Our methods can be used for the analysis and design of network switch supporting dynamic data and voice (video) traffic simultaneously.

The B3G networks that provide the internetworking techniques of heterogeneous network systems and services are constructed to support various service requirements of mobile users. In this paper, we represent the internetworking scheme of heterogeneous networks systems such like UMTS and WLAN which can be used as access networks, and illustrate the service providing of each network system and the internetworking service based on heterogeneous access networks. UMTS and WLAN can provide each proper service to mobile users, and is included to B3G networks to increase the service usage effectiveness by using complementary service for mobile users.
