This study analyzed technical efficiencies of health service industry of OECD countries with DEA and SFA approaches using 10 year data from OECD Health Database. The results can be summarized as follows: First, Korea was found the best practice among 15 OECD countries based on CRS nondirectional SBM models. Second, it was found that some inefficiencies were due to environmental factors. Third, we found that environmental factors were important factors in efficiencies of health service industry by observing that there were large efficiency changes after adjusting slacks due to environmental factors. From the above, Korea led the OECD countries in health service industry and was the most competent. But this study has some limitation since the quality and cost of health care was not taken into account.

This paper aims to analyze the production efficiency in Korea's ten service sectors using DEA and its determinants utilizing a truncated-Tobit regression model and a censored-Tobit regression model in 2010-2019. This paper found: First, the Korean service sector's production efficiency in general has been significantly low and polarized. Especially, the inefficiency resulted from the scale inefficiency in the 'sewerage waste management industry.' Second, in the determinants analysis, the results show the positive effect of the investment and R&D expenses on technical efficiency, while FDI and lobbying expenses illustrate the negative impact. Moreover, it seems that the larger the industry, the higher the efficiency. Thus, the future Korean government's economic policy for the service sectors requires a mixed and integrated policy of the macroeconomic aspect such as active investment and R&D activities with microeconomic aspect including a convergence of FDI and human capital.

국가의 산업 발전이 성장에 한계에 다다르고 그 성장 수준이 고도화 된 국가일수록, 서비스 산업은 그 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 우리나라 역시 서비스 산업의 국내 GDP의 60%이상을 점유하는 만큼 고도의 서비스 산업국가로 분류될 수 있겠으나, 서비스 산업의 경쟁력이 주요 선진국들과 차이가 나는 것이 사실이며, 부가가치가 높은 핵심 지식서비스 산업 분야에서의 격차는 더 크다. 이에 국내 서비스 산업의 경쟁력 강화가 제시되고 있으며, 그에 일환으로 서비스 사이언스(Service Science)에 대한 논의가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 미래성장동력인 서비스 산업의 급부상과 관련하여 서비스 분야에서도 기존의 제조업과 같은 생산성과 효율성을 증가시키기 위해서 더욱 과학적이고, 체계적인 방법론을 연구해야하는 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 이러한 서비스 혁신의 개념은 서비스의 생산성, 품질, 평가, 지속 가능성, 혁신 등에 대하여 연구하는 서비스 사이언스(Service Science)에 대한 논의로 귀결되고 있다. 본 논문은 서비스 혁신사례로써 기술을 도입하여 기업의 성과를 크게 끌어올린 월마트 사례와 최첨단 기술이 융합 접목된 복합 산업적 공간으로 다양한 경제적 활동이 수반되는 인천국제공항공사를 중심으로 서비스 산업에서의 과학기술의 역할에 대해서 살펴보고, 그에 관련된 개념과 시사점을 제기하고자 한다.

산업의학 분야에서 유비쿼터스 기술을 이용한 서비스는 처치 중심의 의료 서비스보다 예방 중심의 의료 서비스를 제공하기 위한 필수적인 서비스로 인식되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 IP-USN을 기반으로 한 산업장 환경 모니터링 서비스를 구축하는 과정과 적용된 서비스에 대해 소개한다. 그리고, 산업장 환경 모니터링을 위한 서비스를 구축하는데 필요한 사용자 계층에 대한 특성과 전체 서비스 프레임워크를 효율적으로 구성할 수 있는 기법을 제안한다. 특히, 사용성을 고려한 사용자 모델과 서비스 프레임워크는 산업장 환경 모니터링 서비스의 사용 효율과 사용 성능을 향상시킬 수 있다.

Knowledge-based Service Industry is an industry that creates added value through the production, processing, and use of knowledge. Comparing to other service industries, it is innovation-oriented business endeavors having the characteristics that exert the great influences on other fields. Meanwhile, however, research efforts thereof are yet insignificant. In this study, we analyzed the innovation performance of architectural design office which creates knowledge services, having raised the necessity of innovation of the design office. The innovation performance were classified according to the extent of efficiency of the architectural design office making use of DEA-Tier analysis, and, for those architectural design offices that showed significant differences in efficiency, we presented the case studies of the firms that were substantial benchmarking targets from short, medium, and long-term perspectives.

This study of purpose is to examine the efficiency through the current status and performance of each institution providing the Daegu community service investment project, and to find a direction for the efficient operation of each institution. In order to promote efficient and effective project promotion by checking the management status that meets the purpose of the local community service investment project, to provide systematic services necessary to consumers, improve quality, and improve the environment, the accurate situation and situation through the efficiency analysis of the service provider organization It is necessary to identify problems, develop programs suitable for regional characteristics, and actively manage services. Specifically, it seeks to provide a more stable and sustainable local community service by measuring efficiency based on information from each institution and comparing and analyzing it among local governments. For this purpose, it is meaningful in analyzing the efficiency of each institution by using the DEA (data envelope analysis) method and presenting the goals and policy implications for efficient operation by comparing them by local government.

본 논문은 자료포괄분석(Data Envelopment Analysis, DEA)을 이용하여 국내 SI회사를 대상으로 효율성을 측정하고 효율성의 연도별 추세를 분석하여 개별기업 및 산업차원에서 변화의 방향을 파악하였다. 기업집단의 소속여부에 따른 비효율성의 차이와 효율성에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인에 관해 실증적으로 분석하였다. 평균적으로 국내 SI회사의 기술적 효율성은 약간 하락하고 있으며, TE 및 PTE의 표준편차와 최대값-최소값의 범위는 상당히 증가하고 있어 양극화가 심화되고 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 기업집단 소속인 기업과 그렇지 않은 기업의 효율성을 분석한 결과 그 차이는 통계적으로 유의함을 검증하였다. 한편, 효율성에 영향을 미치는 각종 요인과 TE 및 PTE 간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 내부매출비중, 정보생산성, 인당매출, EBITDA율, 부가가치율, 투하자본 수익률(ROIC) 등과 TE 및 PTE 간에 모두 강한 상관계수를 보이고 있다. 이와 같은 효율성의 분석을 통해 SI산업의 지속 가능한 경쟁력을 확보하고 개별 기업의 효율성을 향상하기 위한 전략적 벤치마킹과 정책적 의사결정에 기여할 수 있다.

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 확산과 사용자의 이동성 증가는 사용자에게 적합한 서비스를 제공해주기 위해서 미리 설정된 특정 서비스나 정책으로는 구현하기 어렵게 되었음을 의미한다. 또한 사용자의 서비스 영역은 미리 정의된 환경으로 제한되지 않고 사용자가 이동하는 모든 영역으로 확대되고 있다. 따라서 기존의 홈네트워크와 같은 특정 기술 및 서비스 시스템을 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅에 적용하는 것에는 한계가 존재한다. 서비스 영역의 확장과 융합, 사용자의 생활권을 포함하는 산업적인 부분에까지 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅은 확산됨에 따라서 다각적인 IT산업 분야에서 새로운 연구가 필요하게 되었다. 이러한 새로운 산업IT요구에 따라 다양한 서비스 영역으로 적응적인 시스템의 구현과 정보보호 및 서비스 구현에 대한 동적이며 적응적인 정책의 구현이 시급한 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 서비스의 확장과 융합에 따라 발생될 수 있는 정책적인 문제점을 분석하고 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅을 위한 정책을 제안하고자 한다. IT 기술을 다양한 산업 분야로 확장하기 위해서는 지능적인 서비스에 대한 구현 방안이 고려돼야 할 것이다. 그리고 지능적 서비스를 위한 정책의 운영, 상황에 따른 추론 기술 및 서비스 관리 기술에 대한 연구가 병행되어야 한다. 단순히 기존 홈네트워크에서 적용되던 특정 상황에 따른 서비스의 구현이나 한정된 상황 정보(Context)에 대한 관리 기술만으로는 고도화된 산업IT기술을 실현하기 어렵다. 따라서 확장성 및 효율성을 증대하기 위한 방안으로 이기종 환경 네트워크 시스템에서 발생 가능한 보안 문제 해결을 위한 multi-resolution 기술과 온톨로지 기반의 상황 정보 관리 기술을 제안한다.

전력산업이 전력회사 중심에서 고객 중심의 비즈니스 서비스로 변함에 따라 고객의 요구 충족을 위한 고기능 전력정보서비스 제공의 필요성이 점차적으로 증대되고 또한 데이터 중심에서 정보, 지식 둥 특화된 분석정보 제공은 필수불가결한 요소가 되고 있다. 따라서 효율적 활용과 공용을 전제로 검침데이터에 대한 실시간 처리와 효율적 통합관리기술이 필요하다 하겠다. 본 논문은 전력산업 부가가치를 높일 수 있는 무한한 잠재력을 지닌 전략적 자산으로서 검침데이터에 대한 정확한 처리와 효율적 지원으로 고객서비스의 질을 한 차원 높이는 동기를 마련하는 한편, 검침데이터의 활용과 이용효율성을 극대화하는 방안을 제시하며, 현재 적극적으로 추진되고 있는 전력부가서비스 산업의 활성화에 효과적으로 이용될 것으로 기대된다.
