This paper is about image improvement - we used the contrast ratio and the outline emphasis method after synthesizing two low quality images utilized by several low definition cameras. Two raspberry cameras were used to capture each image, and then we synthesized images with MATLAB program. After applying the mean computation (alignment, geometry, and harmony) to synthesized image, we extracted the cross-space. In the experiment of this study, we identified and compared the improvement consequences of extracted, synthesized image after applying outline emphasis(unsharpmask filter, highboost filter) and increasing contrast ratio (histogram uniformity, histogram stretching) to the original images.

While there are various opinions about the relationship of Schiller's thought and Kant's, it is undeniable that Schiller owes much to Kant. What distinguished Schiller from other Weimar thinkers at his time, such as Goethe, Herder and Wieland, was that unlike them Schiller accepted Kant's project of critical philosophy. In fact, Schiller did not just accept it, but tried to interpret and formulate anew the relation of beauty and morality and some other aesthetical-ethical ideals on the basis of the new philosophy. Schiller's famous project of 'aesthetic education of mankind' itself is the product of such an endeavor. In this work we follow the history of Schiller's acceptance of Kant's critical philosophy and ruminate over its implications. And then, we'll show that Schiller's 'beautiful soul' in Grace and Dignity (1793), which is often suggested to be a proof of Schiller's conflict with Kant, was understood on the basis of Kant's moral theory. In this part of the work, we compare Schiller's ideal of the 'beautiful soul' and Shaftesbury's ethical thought, which is often presumed to be its background. From this comparison we'll be able to see that there is a considerable disparity, despite apparent similarities, between Schiller's and Shaftesbury's ethical ideals, which is due to their respective philosophical sources, that is neo-platonic metaphysics and Kant's critical philosophy.

Interior noise, engine speed and vehicle speed are measured under transient road-load condition and interior noise signal is transformed by using the transient signal analysis methods, such as the spectrogram and wavelet transform. Using the analyzed results, subjective noise metrics such as the loudness, sharpness and articulation index at each vehicle speed can be estimated and characteristics of interior noise for various running modes can be discussed in the viewpoint of noise quality.

본 연구는 중국 뮤추얼펀드를 대상으로 폐쇄형(48개), 개방형(17개)으로 구분하여 총 65개 펀드에 대해 성과를 측정해보고, 이를 통해 중국 뮤추얼펀드가 지수대비 어떠한 성과를 보여주고 있는지를 살펴보고자 한 연구이다. 성과 평가 실증기간은 폐쇄형 펀드가 2002년 1월 4일부터 2004년 12월 31일까지 3년으로 하며 개방형 펀드가 2003년 1월 3일부터 2004년 12월 31일까지 2년으로 하였다. 실증연구방법들은 CAPM에 기반한 트레이너 모형, 샤프 모형, 젠센 모형과 장세판단능력 측정 모형인 트레이너-마주이 모형이다.

본 논문에서는 JPEG 압축 이외의 블러링(blumng) 및 샤프닝(sharpening) 등의 허용 가능한 이미지 조작에도 정보가 유지될 수 있는 내용 적응(content adaptive) 서명(signature) 기법을 제안하였다. 제안한 방법은 블록의 이미지 내용의 특성을 사용하여, 기존의 이미지 블록 사이의 DCT 계수 차이가 유지되는 DCT를 기반으로 한 Chang의 서명 방법의 단점을 개선하였다. 즉, 허용 가능한 이미지 조작에 대하여 에러 발생 확률이 높은 블록을 피하여 서명을 생성하였다 Lenna를 포함한 여러 표준 영상을 사용하여 실험한 결과, 제안한 랑법은 Chang의 방법에서 발생하는 서명의 비트 스트림 에러보다 에러 발생 빈도가 블러링 이미지에서는 평균 약 55％, 사프닝 이미지에서는 평균 약 51％ 더 낮았다.

In this paper, we propose the novel approach to enhance the visual quality of the digital image with adaptively sharpening and removing the noise. Image enhancement is performed in two ways. The pixels in the high dynamics area are sharpened by the adaptive unsharp mask with the parameter, which is derived using the statistical information of the image. On the other hand, the proposed algorithm do not perform the sharpening process in the uniform area that may cause the undesired artifact due to noise amplification, rather it performs smoothing to suppress the noise in this area. The decision, which process will be applied at the pixel, is also controlled by the statistics of the pixel dynamics. The proposed algorithm enhances the visual quality almost automatically by sharpening and smoothing at the same time with less parameter selection.

In this paper, we propose an image enhancement method based on Multi-Scale Retinex theory that designs Unsharp Masking Filter (UMF) and emphasizes the contrast ratio adaptively. Unsharp Masking (UM) technique emphasizes image sharpness and improves contrast ratio by adding high frequency component to the original image. The high frequency component is obtained by differentiating between original image and low frequency image. In this paper, we present how to design an UMF kernel and to adaptively apply it to increase the contrast ratio according to multi-scale retinex theory which resembles human visual system. Experimental results show that the proposed method has better quantitative performance indexes such as PSNR, ambe & SSIM and better qualitative feature like halo artifact suppression.

In Korea, the high-speed train is one of the most important mass transportation. Due to its fast speed, the interior noise level is high and it is one of major reason for passenger complaints. In this study, the response of passengers to interior noise was evaluated using sound quality parameters. The effects of various parameters, such as train types, travel speed, rail road, on the calculated sound quality were investigated. The characteristics of interior noise were identified. The obtained results were compared to auditory experimental data. For precise comparison of noises of similar loudness but with different characteristics, paired comparison method was used. From the comparison, important parameters that have influence on the annoyance and loudness of the noise were determined.

본 논문에서는 CNN을 이용하여 전방위 영상에 대해 워터마크를 추출하는 방법을 제안한다. 네트워크의 입력은 전방위 영상에서 SIFT 특징점을 기준으로 잘라낸 영역들이며, 네트워크를 통해 전방위 영상 생성 과정에서의 왜곡을 보정하고 워터마크를 분류한다. 또한 네트워크의 훈련 집합에는 원본 영상 외에 JPEG 압축, 가우시안 노이즈, 가우시안 블러링, 샤프닝 공격을 가한 영상들도 포함시켜서 학습을 통해 공격에 대한 강인성을 가지도록 한다. 이에 대해 훈련된 네트워크로 추출한 워터마크와 알고리즘으로 추출한 워터마크를 비교하여 제안하는 방법의 유효성을 확인한다.
