It is critical to secure stable financial resources and efficient financial management for local governments to promote elderly welfare. Using the Fuzzy Set Qualitative Comparative Analysis method, we empirically examined the conditions under which the 17 metropolises and provinces in Korea increase or decrease their budget for elderly welfare. After examining previous studies, socio-economic variables(ratio of elderly people, ratio of elderly welfare recipients), financial variables(financial independence ratio), and political administrative variables (number of regulations on elderly welfare) were included in the analyses to determine the causal conditions of elderly welfare budget per person. Fs/QCA resulted in three combinations of elderly welfare budget per person: first, the combination of low ratio of elderly people, high ratio of elderly welfare recipients, and low number of regulations on elderly welfare; second, the combination of low ratio of elderly welfare recipients, low financial independence ratio, and high number of regulations on elderly welfare; and lastly, the combination of high ratio of elderly people, high ratio of elderly welfare recipients, and low financial independence ratio. Implications for elderly welfare were made considering socio- economic, financial, and political administrative circumstances based on the study results.

This study is aim to examine the influence of the social supports factor of the college students who majors in health or social welfare on their college adjustment and whether or not academic stress would perform a mediating role in the relationship between social supports factor and college adjustment. The subjects in this study were the college students who majored in health or social welfare in Gyeongsang Namdo Province. Data were collected through self reported structured questionnaire form using convenient sampling methods. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the social supports factor and academic stress factor of the college students were found to have exerted a statistically significant influence on college adjustment. Second, the academic stress factor was found to have had partial mediating effects on the relationship between the social supports factor and college adjustment. The findings of the study illustrated that the academic stress factor played a buffering role in the social supports factor that affected the college adjustment of the college students.

학교사회복지사는 학교 안에 있는 청소년종합사회복지관의 관장이면서 동시에 실무자라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 학교사회복지사가 되려면 학생에 대한 이해와 다양한 개입기술 뿐 아니라 학교체계와 교육제도에 대한 지식은 물론 기본적인 조직생활에 대한 이해, 사회복지제도와 여러 정책에 대한 지식, 협상기술, 복지 경영자로서의 능력과 행정기술 등이 먼저 구비되어야 한다.

The purpose of this study is to identify the moderating effect of social support between daily life stress and suicidal ideation of North Korean refugee women in South Korea. We survey with self-report questionnaires for 156 refugee women, conduct descriptive and regression analysis. As results, (1) almost half of the surveyed experience suicidal ideation in a year, (2) daily life stress affects suicidal ideation controlling with depression, PTSD, alcohol use, income, and age, (3) social support which North Korea refugee women perceive buffers the relationship between life stress and suicidal ideation. From these results, implications are suggested. Gender cognitive policies are needed in North Korea refugees in South Korea. Also, community mental health services and sustainable community program for North Korea refugee women are important to prevent their suicidal attempts.

이국에서 맞게 된 새해 소망은 바로 그동안 잃었던 가족의 소중함이고 웃음 가득한 가정을 만드는 것입니다. 가정을 꾸린지 10년, 돌아보면 남편으로 아버지로 아내와 아이들에게 따뜻한 가슴을 느끼지 못하게 한 것 같습니다. 우리 가정에 위기가 찾아왔을 때 마지막 기회라 생각하며 시작한 영국에서의 생활은 가족들의 마음을 조금은 열게 만들어 주었습니다. 요리하나 할 줄 모르던 사람이 매일 부엌을 찾게 되는 변화가 생겼으니깐요.

This study has a purpose to analyze trajectories of life satisfaction of the elderly after their retirement and how the characteristics of individual, retirement and family relationship have an effect on the life satisfaction. This study has investigated the Korean elderly, who had been retired, using the data from three waves(1st wave(2005)~3rd wave(2009) of the Korean Retirement and Income Panel(KReIS). Data analysis has been used to identify the predictors of the intercept and slope related to the life satisfaction after retirement, focusing the trajectories of the life satisfaction after retirement and individual characteristics, retirement characteristics and family relationship with application of the growth curve model by Amos 20.0. First, the intercept of the life satisfaction after retirement was somewhat below average. Life satisfaction averagely increased little by little from 1st wave to 3rd wave. Second, by conducting the conditional growth curve model, the study revealed that the intercept of the life satisfaction after retirement is high on individual characteristics(sex, educational level, income, health status) and in retirement characteristics(voluntary retirement) and satisfaction with family relationship and married life). Furthermore, health status, voluntary retirement, and satisfaction with family relationship asserted the meaningful variables in the slope of life satisfaction after retirement.

급격한 고령화 시대에 노년층의 사회참여욕구가 확대되고 있으나 어떻게 해야 하는지를 모르고 있어 지역사회의 사회참여 프로그램에 대한 인지도가 매우 낮고 제도나 프로그램에 대한 접근성이 제한적인 실정이다. 가족기능이 해체된 노인을 대상으로 노후 생활 지원욕구에 발맞춰 경제적지원, 취업지원, 의료지원, 여가지원 등 각종 복지 서비스를 제공함으로써 보편적이고 일상적인 생활을 영위하도록 지원하고자 많은 노력을 하고는 있으나 이를 체계적으로 실시할 수 있는 모델이 부족한 것이 현실이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 노인들의 역할 및 지위 상실로 인하여 가정에서 고립된 생활을 하는 노인을 대상으로 복지 전문가가 현장에서 비교적 손쉽게 적용할 수 있는 체계화된 모델을 제안함으로 생활스트레스 감소, 인지기능 향상, 우울증 감소, 생활만족도를 향상시키고 노인여가 문화에 대한 건전성 확산을 통해 건강한 노후생활을 영위하게 하며 문화생활 지원을 통해 사회적 비용 부담 경감을 도모함과 동시에 자존감의 고취 및 자율성을 획득하고 자아성취감과 만족감을 느끼게 하는데 있다.

이 사회에 장애인의 취업, 결혼 등을 비롯한 복지문제가 거론되기 시작한지도 적지 않은 시간이 흘렀다. 그러나 이러한 문제는 둘째로 하고, 장애인의 정서함양과 건강증진에 도움이 될 수 있는 일상적인 체육 · 문화 프로그램조차도 그리 많지 못한 것이 우리의 현실이다. 이와 같은 상황에서 지난 ‘89년에 발족 된 한국장애인복지체육회가 장애인을 위한 체육교실 · 문학 강좌 및 예술대전 등의 프로그램을 마련해 그런대로 갈증을 해소해 주고 있고, 장애인들의 호응을 받고 있다. 올해 장애인 편의 시설이 완벽하게 갖추어진 ’서울곰두리체육센터‘가 문을 열어 장애인들의 생활을 더욱 밝게 해주고 있다. 체육회의 다양한 프로그램이 전국적으로 파급되어 모든 장애인에게도 생활문화를 즐길 수 있는 기회가 더욱 많이 주어지기를 기대한다.
