Development of Acid-Base Educational Content for Emergent Thinking (창발적 사고를 위한 산-염기 교육 콘텐츠 개발)

  • 본 논문은 화학에서 사용되는 2가지 산, 염기 모델에 대한 이해를 높이고자 각 모델의 핵심 알고리즘가 반영된 단계별 교육용 콘텐츠를 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 먼저 Arrhenius와 Brønsted-Lowry 모델이 갖는 핵심 알고리즘을 탐색하였으며, 이러한 핵심 알고리즘을 반영된 단계별 교육용 콘텐츠를 JAVA를 이용하여 개발하였다. 개발된 교육용 콘텐츠는 총 5단계로 구성되어 있다. 1단계는 화학에서 다루어지는 입자들이 개별적으로 무작위하게 운동함으로 표현하였으며, 2단계는 화학반응이란 이러한 무작위적 운동 중 입자 간 충돌에 의해 반응이 개시됨을 보여주었다. 3단계에서는 단일입자에 대해 정반응과 역반응을 동시에 고려한 진행되는 상황을, 4단계는 여러 입자가 동시다발적으로 정반응과 역반응에 참여한 상황을 구현하였다. 마지막 5단계는 정반응과 역반응의 공존의 비율이 다른 상황을 통해 평형상수의 의미를 고찰하도록 하였다. 창발적 사고의 핵심은 여러 입자를 생각하는 확률적 사고와 이러한 여러 입자가 개별적으로 움직인다는 사고가 반영되어야 한다. 이 연구에서 개발한 교육콘텐츠를 활용한다면 학생들이 보다 창발적 사고를 하는데 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다.

  • 산업의 발전과 경제성장을 바탕으로 대한민국의 자동차 등록수는 매년 꾸준한 증가세를 보이고 있다. 이와 더불어 자동차 사고 또한 급격히 증가하고 있다. 대한민국은 OECD회원국중 교통사고 발생건수가 높은 편이고 사망자수 또한 상위에 랭크되어 있다. 이러한 사망자 수는 각 나라별 교통사고 발생건수 대비 사망자수와 비교시 높은 사망률을 보이고 있다. 또한 자동차 충돌 사고에서 빈번히 발생되는 운전자의 의식불명에 따른 초기 응급조치의 미흡, 뺑소니 또는 사고 후 방치되는 상황을 방지하기 위해 차량용 블랙박스와 사고발생 통보 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 가속도센서를 이용하여 사고 발생시 충격 임계점을 계산한 후 사고 발생을 블루투스를 이용하여 스마트폰으로 전송한다, 또한, 교통사고 발생 후 환자의 응급 후송 및 2차 교통사고를 방지하기 위한 시스템의 필요성에 따라 블랙박스를 접목한 차량용 응급상황 감지 및 통보 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

  • The Low-Rate WPAN is a short range wireless networking technology characterized by low-rate, low-power, low complexity and low-cost. The LR-WPAN controls wireless channel access among network devices based on the contention-based CSMA/CA algorithm. Therefore, frame collisions may take place at any time, leading to the severe degradation of network performance. This paper proposes a new algorithm that changes back-off periods adaptively in the CSMA/CA process depending on network conditions, resulting in the reduction of frame collisions. Throughout extensive simulations, it turns out that varying the back-off periods dynamically shows better performance than maintaining the fixed back-off periods.

  • DCF(Distributed Coordination Function) of IEEE 802.11 WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) MAC Layer apply to CSMA/CA(Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Avoidance) for solution of collision when the station try to access at the same time. But DCF happens falling performance as increasing a number of stations. In this paper, we suggest algorithm that improved performance in congestion. And we compare DCF, DCF+ and proposed algorithm respect to saturation throughput, delay, collision rate and drop rate using NS2(Network Simulator 2) simulation tool.

  • Using of small Radar device can not supply the real exercise information of ellipse circumference or CPA, TCPA and the changing of surroundings fur various target information. Therefore, for the above problem, we develop RTE that is able to and of for each information from ARPA Radar which supply analog video signal, trigger bearing and heading pulse from low-cost small Radar device is equiped with general small fishing boat. The small fishing is equipped with small Radar device, so it is able to collect and apply sailing information such as real exercise information and TCPA.

  • The MAC of IEEE 802.11 WLAN to control data transmission uses two control methods called DCF and PCF. The DCF controls the transmission based on CSMA/CA The BEB backoff algorithm of DCF shows relatively excellent performance in situation that the number of competing station is less, but has a problem that performance of throughput and delay is degraded in situation that the number of competing station is increased. This paper mathematically analyzes an MIMD backoff algorithm considering retry limit that increases the CW to doubled after collision and decreases smoothly the CW to halves after successful transmission in order to reduce the collision probability. To prove efficiency of the MIMD backoff algorithm, lots of simulations are conducted and analyzed.

  • In this paper, MAC(Medium Access Control) algorithm for the IEEE 802.11 DCF(Distributed Coordination Function) improving the performance is proposed and analyzed mathematically. The MAC of IEEE 802.11 WLAN to control data transmission uses two control methods called DCF and PCF(Point Coordination Function). The DCF controls the transmission based on CSMA/CA(Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Avoidance). The DCF shows excellent performance relatively in situation that competition station is less but has a problem that performance is fallen from throughput and delay viewpoint in situation that competition station is increased. This paper proposes an enhanced DCF algorithm that increases the CW to maximal CW after collision and decreases the CW smoothly after successful transmission in order to reduce the collision probability by utilizing the current status information of WLAN. To prove efficiency of proposed algorithm, a lots of simulations are conducted and analyzed.

  • In this paper, we propose ubiWarehouse system which can efficiently manages mass and many kinds of parts such as automotive parts. First, user's work situation is defined systematically as context type of 5W1H, context-aware system is separated on function, and each module operates independently. An efficient route is selected and relevant parts frequently treated at the same time are gathered by calculating the suitability of parts and racks. If other users currently are on a visit or are supposed to visit soon, the hun of visit is changed making a concession for preventing collision. As a result, the proposed system with avoiding competition can provide users with routes for inbound or outbound parts, and can effectively use spaces of a warehouse by arranging racks to gather relevant parts to near location. Also, individual service can be offered by evaluating user propensity using history of the warehouse job, and the accuracy of stock information can be improved by processing of unexpected context and real-time renewing of warehousing and delivering.

Acoustic Signal-Based Tunnel Incident Detection System (음향신호 기반 터널 돌발상황 검지시스템)

  • An acoustic signal-based, tunnel-incident detection system was developed and evaluated. The system was comprised of three components: algorithm, acoustic signal collector, and server system. The algorithm, which was based on nonnegative tensor factorization and a hidden Markov model, processes the acoustic signals to attenuate noise and detect incident-related signals. The acoustic signal collector gathers the tunnel sounds, digitalizes them, and transmits the digitalized acoustic signals to the center server. The server system issues an alert once the algorithm identifies an incident. The performance of the system was evaluated thoroughly in two steps: first, in a controlled tunnel environment using the recorded incident sounds, and second, in an uncontrolled tunnel environment using real-world incident sounds. As a result, the detection rates ranged from 80 to 95% at distances from 50 to 10 m in the controlled environment, and 94 % in the uncontrolled environment. The superiority of the developed system to the existing video image and loop detector-based systems lies in its instantaneous detection capability with less than 2 s.

An Experimental Study of Supersonic Underexpanded Jet Impinging on an Inclined Plate (경사 평판에 충돌하는 초음속 과소팽창 제트에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • Problems created by supersonic jet impinging on solid objects or ground arise in a variety of situations. For example multi-stage rocket separation, deep-space docking, V/STOL aircraft, jet-engine exhaust, gas-turbine blade, terrestrial rocket launch, and so on. These impinging jet flows generally contain a complex structures. (mixed subsonic and supersonic regions, interacting shocks and expansion waves, regions of turbulent shear layer) This paper describes experimental works on the phenomena (surface pressure distribution, flow visualization) when underexpanded supersonic jets impinge on the perpendicular, inclined plate using a supersonic cold-(low system. The used supersonic nozzle is convergent-divergent type, exit Mach number 2, The maximum on the plate when it was inclined was much larger than perpendicular plate, owing to high pressure recoveries through multiple shocks. Surface pressure distribution as to underexpanded ratio showed similar patterns together.
