This research aims to show that the context adaptation system can be used to develop practical context-aware applications by developing a restaurant recommendation system based on location-awareness. In this research, we have designed and implemented a location-aware restaurant recommendation system which provides a customized restaurant recommendation service based on the user's current context. The context-adaptation engine adapts the application program according to the policy file as contexts are changed, and the application provides restaurant recommendation service based on the changed context like location.

선박의 자율운항을 위해서는 선박 충돌회피에 대한 사전 연구가 필요하다. 항해사들의 상황인식과 의사결정에 기여하기 위해 주변 상황 환경을 인식하고 의사결정을 하기까지 걸리는 시간을 지연(latency)이라고 한다. 따라서 연구 목적은 선박 충돌 상황에서 항해사의 의사결정 지연시간을 측정하는 것이다. 연구방법은 항해사를 대상으로 시뮬레이션을 통한 테스트 결과를 분석하였다. 연구결과 항해사가 선박충돌상황시 상황인식과 의사결정간의 상관관계를 도출할 수 있었다.

최근 들어 생활 공간과 유비쿼터스 기술 융합의 과정으로 u-City 구현을 통한 상황인식 서비스 제공으로 삶의 질을 향상시키려 노력을 하고 있다. 상황인식 서비스 인프라와 관련된 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. u-City는 도시전체를 구성원으로 하고 있기 때문에 센서로부터의 많은 정보의 수집과 다양한 상황으로 다양한 상황정보가 발생할 것이다. 따라서 논문에서는 u-Cit에 적합한 상황인식 추론 시스템에 대해서 제시하고 구현을 통한 제안하는 시스템의 성능에 대해서 논의한다.

U-Healthcare is more efficient as a solving method for health problems rather than visiting the hospital. Recently, systems have been studied to offer appropriate service to user, which gather and analyze biological signals of a user and context information around the user from a variety of sensors. The existing systems for U-Healthcare are based on domain specific service so it is difficult to expand and link to other systems. Also, they lack services focusing on the specific quality of the user, because they offer a general service which targets a lot of users. To address this problem, we expand an extensibility of system using the context-awareness agent based on multi-agents. Also, we provide the suitable services which match with the context information of user to each user using the modeling toolkit JaUCE based on GUI. We design and implement U-Silvercare service to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed context-awareness agent and modeling toolkit.

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 사용자의 상환인식 서비스 구축은 일반 응용서비스와는 달리 사용자 요구를 만족시키기 위해 차별화된 처리를 요구한다. Context Toolkit은 상황인식 서비스 구축을 제공하는 프레임워크이며, 입출관리 시스템은 사용자의 위치인식과 방문자목록 가입을 토대로 서비스를 제공해주는 시스템이다. 본 논문에서는 사용자의 방문을 효과적으로 관리할 수 있는 방문관리를 위해 Context Toolkit을 기반으로 한 방문관리 시스템을 설계하고 적용한다.

It is show that increasing of aged and handicapped people requires development of Ubiquitous computing technique to offer the specialized service for handicapped-people. For this, we need a development of Context Awareness and Service Reasoning Technique that the technique is supplied interaction between user and U-environment instead of the old unilateral relation. The old research of context awareness needed probabilistic presentation model like a Bayesian Network based on expert Systems for recognize given circumstance by a domain of uncertain real world. In this article, we define a domain of disorder activity assistant service application and context model based on ontology in diversified environment and minimized intervention of user and developer. By use this context model, we apply the structure learning of Bayesian Network and decide the service and activity to development of application service for handicapped people. Finally, we define the proper Conditional Probability Table of the structured Bayesian Network and if random situation is given to user, then present state variable of Activity and Service by given Causal relation of Bayesian Network based on Conditional Probability Table and it can be result of context awareness.

URC는 언제 어디서나 나와 함께 하며 나에게 필요한 서비스를 제공하는 로봇이라는 의미의 새로운 네트워크 기반의 지능형 서비스 로봇 패러다임이다. URC 환경에서 로봇은 사용자의 현재 상황을 이해한 뒤 적절한 정보와 서비스를 지능적이고 능동적으로 제공할 수 있어야 하며, 이를 위하여 상황 인식 시스템의 개발이 필요하다. 상황 인식시스템의 핵심 기능 중의 하나는 상황 인식 응용에서 이용 가능한 사용자의 주변 환경에 관한 정보를 표현하기 위한 형식적인 상황 정보 모델 및 이를 관리하고 이용하는 방법을 제공하는 데 있다. 본 고에서는 상황 인식 컴퓨팅의 기술 동향을 상황 정보 모델중심으로 소개하고, URC를 위한 상황 인식 미들웨어인 CAMUS의 상황 정보 모델 및 상황 정보 관리 모듈에 관하여 소개한다.

본 논문은 오픈소스 Home Py를 이용해 Telegram Service를 통한 대화방식의 서비스로써 사물과 사람 간 양방향 통신을 가능하며 상황인식 서비스를 활용하여 홈 시스템 제어를 유연하게 할 수 있는 프로젝트를 구성하였다. 기존 시스템은 스마트 폰으로 가전을 제어하는 Smart Home이 현실화 되었지만, 조작법의 어려움으로 인하여 장애인, 노약자, 어린이, 임산부들의 불편함이 있다. 본 문제를 해결하기 위해 상황인식을 통해 상황에 맞는 사물들을 제어함으로써 보다 지능적인 스마트 홈 시스템을 제안한다.

This paper presents an u-health Care system based on context-awareness information. Extended project induced an education for creative engineering design. It could occur one of the issue for life care or wellness in recently life. Especially u-health Care system help on achieving this object as an efficient care-training with user blood pressure or with echocardiogram, electromyogram, electroencephalogram, or Electrocardiography. In this paper, development project show an u-health care system based on this parameters of the context-awareness with network service and analysis provide with working memory(DB) for user data base applications.

Some context is characterized by a single event in computing environment, but many other contexts are determined by a lot of things which occur with a space and a time. The Realtime Embedded System context-awareness service that interacts with the physical space can have property such as time. The exceptional behaviors of the system that interact with physical space can result in critical damage and cause danger to the operation of an embedded system. we propose an approach which should include spatio-temporal property and exceptional management in the context model, and verify its effectiveness using an expanded Petri-Net. The context-awareness service modeling of an embedded system is discussed the properties of model such as basic Petri-Net, patterned Petri-Net, or Spatio-temporal Petri-Net for the exceptional behaviors of the system. The proposed methodology demonstrated using an example that is emergency medical service. The use of expanded Petri-Net will contribute not only to develop the application but also to model the spatio-temporal context awareness for the exceptional handling.
