  • 상황은 실세계에 존재하는 실체의 상태를 특징화하여 요약한 정보로 정의될 수 있으며, 상황인식은 이러한 상황 정보의 상호 작용에 의하여 인간의 현재 상황을 특성화 할 수 있는 기술적 방법을 의미한다. 실세계의 상태를 표현하는 것은 정보의 표현 및 지식 표현과 관련되며, 상황인식 컴퓨팅은 이러한 지식 표현 방법에서 출발한다고 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 앞서 말한 상황인식 능력을 지향하는 시스템, 즉 지능형 홈 서비스를 제공하는 상황인식 컴퓨팅 시스템을 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 가정 내에 설치된 센서장치로부터 사용자 생체 신호 데이터와 환경 데이터를 획득하한 후에, 획득된 컨텍스트 데이터를 정규화하고, 정규화된 컨텍스트 데이터를 패턴인식 알고리즘을 통하여 처리한 후에 자동적으로 지능형 홈오토메이션 서비스를 제공하는 게이트웨이에 대한 설계에 대하여 서술한다.

  • There has been an increase in the interest of applications that use a combination of both pervasive computing technology and context-aware technology. This application based on the development environment along with the support of developing context-aware applications is now being researched thoroughly and by many. The service management system provides services that are needed for context-aware applications. This system is an integral part of the developmental environment of context-aware applications. But there is a restrictive matching based on ontology that uses simple syntactic matching or a plain type of service used in previous researches. And there is also no consideration for context-aware information. Also, if the user is unable to find a service that is satisfactory, or is a service which a user does not desire, they may use a service which is composed of other existing services. This paper proposes a service management system based on context-aware information. The proposed system enables the accurate finding of services by considering semantic matching methods based on ontology and context-aware information. If the user does not find a service that is helpful in the service registry, it can provide the service list to enable other existing service compositions, by providing the functionality of these service compositions. As a result, the experiment of the system proposed has shown that the system properly supported the service discovery based on context-aware information and service composition.

  • 상황기반 정보제공 에이전트는 주위의 상황을 인식하고 상황에 적합한 정보를 능동적으로 제공해주는 서비스 또는 애플리케이션 프로그램을 말한다. 상황기반 정보제공 에이전트는 현재의 상황을 정확하게 인식하고 그 상황에 적합한 정보를 추천해야 하기 때문에 상황인지 기능, 상황인식 기능, 정보검색 및 추천 기능 등 다양한 기능이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 프로야구에서 상황기반 정보제공 서비스 실현을 위해 상황기반 관전포인트 제공 시스템을 구현한 사례를 소개하였고, 구현에 있어 시간에 따른 상황변화를 정의할 수 있는 지식화 모델 구조를 제시하였다. 그 결과 이전 프로야구에서 제공되고 있는 일방적이고, 제한적인 관전포인트 제공 서비스를 개선할 수 있었다.

  • Recently, feasible services in ubiquitous computing environment are commonly based on context -aware computing. With the concept of context-awareness we can imagine more effective way to measure human being's daily stress and provide anti-stress services. Our study introduces logical and methodological approach to manage the stress through the development of stress index. From the practical perspectives, we also designed a business model for u-SMC, which is a profitable organization specialized in providing stress measurement services and personalized anti-stress services by utilizing the stress index model.

Development of Authentication Service Model Based Context-Awareness for Accessing Patient's Medical Information (환자 의료정보 접근을 위한 상황인식 기반의 인증서비스 모델 개발)

  • With the recent establishment of a ubiquitous-based medical and healthcare environment, the medical information system for obtaining situation information from various sensors is increasing. In the medical information system environment based on context-awareness, the patient situation can be determined as normal or emergency using situational information. In addition, medical staff can easily access patient information after simple user authentication using ID and Password through applications on smart devices. However, these services of authentication and patient information access are staff-oriented systems and do not fully consider the ubiquitous-based healthcare information system environment. In this paper, we present a authentication service model based context-awareness system for providing situational information-driven authentication services to users who access medical information, and implemented proposed system. The authentication service model based context-awareness system is a service that recognizes patient situations through sensors and the authentication and authorization of medical staff proceed differently according to patient situations. It was implemented using wearables, biometric data measurement modules, camera sensors, etc. to configure various situational information measurement environments. If the patient situation was emergency situation, the medical information server sent an emergency message to the smart device of the medical staff, and the medical staff that received the emergency message tried to authenticate using the application of the smart device to access the patient information. Once all authentication was completed, medical staff will be given access to high-level medical information and can even checked patient medical information that could not be seen under normal situation. The authentication service model based context-awareness system not only fully considered the ubiquitous medical information system environment, but also enhanced patient-centered systematic security and access transparency.

  • Ubiquitous computing technology makes an impact on the appearance of u-learning and presents an advanced direction of futuristic school education. In ubiquitous learning environments, various embedded computational devices will be pervasive and interoperable across the network for supporting the learning, so users may utilize these devices anytime anywhere. An important next step for ubiquitous learning is the introduction of context-aware learning service that employing knowledge and reasoning to understand the local context and share this information in support of intelligent learning services. However, the existing studies on design and application of ontology context model to support context-aware service in actual school environments are incomplete state. This paper, therefore, suggests a scheme of constructing ubiquitous learning space for existing school network by introducing USN to support context-aware ubiquitous learning services. This paper, also, designs an ontology based context model for ubiquitous school environments which describes context information through OWL. To determine the suitability of proposed ubiquitous learning space and ontology context model, we implement some of context-aware learning services in the ubiquitous learning environments.

  • It is essential to have Context-aware technology for personalization recommendation services and the appropriate representation and definition of Context information for context-aware. Ontology is possible to represent knowledge freely and knowledge can be extended by inferring. In addition, design of the ontology model is needed according to the purposes of utilization. This paper used context-aware technologies to implement a user personalization recommendation service. It also proposed the context through OWL modeling for user personalization recommendation service and used inference rules and inference engine for context reasoning.

  • Applications in ubiquitous environments should provide the best services to users by considering the changes of users requirements and service environments, and should adapt service behaviors to the underlying platform's behaviors according to contextual changes. To reflect users requirements actively and provide more flexible services, we propose 2-level context adaptation method for supporting dynamic application adaptability in contextual changes. We offend the range of contexts to users requirements for supporting context adaptation. It can reflect users preferences in offering application services. For application adaptability, we use adaptation policies to allow applications require how they adapt to specific contexts, and to make them react actively on such situations.

  • Some context is characterized by a single event in computing environment, but many other contexts are determined by a lot of things which occur with a space and a time. The Realtime Embedded System context-awareness service that interacts with the physical space can have property such as time. The exceptional behaviors of the system that interact with physical space can result in critical damage and cause danger to the operation of an embedded system. we propose an approach which should include spatio-temporal property and exceptional management in the context model, and verify its effectiveness using an expanded Petri-Net. The context-awareness service modeling of an embedded system is discussed the properties of model such as basic Petri-Net, patterned Petri-Net, or Spatio-temporal Petri-Net for the exceptional behaviors of the system. The proposed methodology demonstrated using an example that is emergency medical service. The use of expanded Petri-Net will contribute not only to develop the application but also to model the spatio-temporal context awareness for the exceptional handling.
