유비쿼터스 환경에 산재하는 서비스 발견 미들웨어는 프로토콜, 표준, 서비스 검색 방법 및 프로그래밍 언어 등의 이질적인 특성을 가진다. 본 연구에서는 이질적인 서비스 발견 미들웨어의 상호운용을 지원하기 위해 유니버설 네트워크를 위한 웹서비스 프레임워크를 제안했다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 대표적인 미들웨어인 DPWS 와 웹서비스의 상호운용을 지원하기 위해 양방향 DPWS 어댑터에 대한 설계 및 구현을 서술한다. 또한 양방향 DPWS 어댑터의 구조, 구성 요소와 동작 과정을 설계하고, 간단한 시나리오를 구현함으로써 양방향 DPWS 어댑터가 제공하는 서비스 지향 아키텍처, 상호운용성 제공, 일반적인 웹서비스 호출, 자가 구성, 동적 서비스 검색 등의 이점을 논한다.

IETF's NETCONF WG has taken efforts in standardizing configuration management protocol, which allows high interoperability of configuration management. In addition to interoperability, high performance is also required in configuration management, but many researches have often discarded the performance aspect of it. In order to fill that void, this paper proposes methods to improve performance with layers of NETCONF. It demonstrates and compares the performance evaluations to verify the efficiency of the proposed methods.

국방부는 90년대 후반부터 국방정보체계 구축사업을 본격적으로 추진하면서 정보체계의 상호운용성 문제를 심각하게 인식하고 상호운용성을 보장하는 국방 정보체계를 구축하기 위하여 많은 노력을 추진하고 있다. 상호운용성을 보장하는 정보체계를 구축하기 위한 목표를 국방통합정보체계 구축으로 설정하고 이를 구성하는 요소로 국방정보체계표준, 공통운용환경, 데이터공유환경을 식별하고, 이를 구축하기 위해 추진하고 있다. 이들 가운데 국방정보체계표준은 선정되어, 국방전반에 대하여 효력을 발휘하고 있으며, 공통운용환경은 우리의 국방환경에 적합한 추진방향을 선정하였으나, 데이터공유환경을 구축하기 위한 전략 및 방법에 대한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 선진국의 추진사례와 우리나라 국방 현실에 대한 분석을 통하여 우리의 현실에 맞는 데이터공유환경(SHADE)를 구축하기 위한 전략 및 방법을 제시하며, 그 내용으로는 먼저 현 국방 데이터 관리 실태 분석을 통하여 현 상황을 인식한 후, 구축하고자 하는 목표을 설정하고, 이러한 목표를 달성하기 위한 추진 전략 및 방향, 업무와 관련된 조직 및 인원에 대한 임무, 단계별 추진 과제 등을 식별하고 데이터공유가 요구되는 조직 및 체계에 적용가능한 데이터 관리 절차와 데이터 상호운용성을 만족시키기 위한 접근방법을 제시한다.

항공기, 핸드폰, 자동차 등 여러 분야에서 내장형 S/W가 사용되고 있다. 내장형 S/W는 일반 S/W와는 달리 운용 및 개발 환경이 특화되고 다양하여 개발비용이 많이 들고 관리에 어려움이 있다. 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위하여 미군에서는 공통운용환경(Common Operating System)을 도입하여 시스템들의 통합을 용이하게 하고 상호운용성을 증진하고 있다. 공통운용환경은 운영체계 및 시스템 S/W는 표준화하고 공통으로 재사용가능한 부분을 일종의 컴포넌트라 할 수 있는 세그먼트로 개발하여 재사용하는 개발 및 운용환경을 말한다. 본 논문에서는 공통운용환경의 컴포넌트 기반 개발 방법을 소개하였다. 그리고 내장형 S/W 개발 및 운용에 필요한 내장형 공통운용환경 구조를 정의하고 세그먼트를 설계하였다.

To construct machining databases, which are reusable and sharable their meanings, semantic metadata management is required. In this study a semantic data modeling process for machining data is developed. It combines conventional data models with ISO/IEC 11179 standard, metadata registry(MDR). Names of object classes and properties constituting data element names are identified using conventional data model while data elements are named and specified based on ISO/IEC 11179 in order to obtain semantic interoperability of data. An experimental application to electrical discharge machining(EDM) is performed to explain the process.

본 논문은 의료정보시스템 관련 표준인 HL7(Health Level 7)의 정보를 토대로 WS-CDL(Web Service Choreograph Description Language) 웹 서비스를 유도하여 의료정보시스템의 상호운용성을 확보하는데 기여하는 논문으로, 웹 서비스화에 있어 인터페이스 측면만이 아닌 코리오그래피 정보까지도 유도해내는 프레임워크를 제시한다. 또한 현재 HL7에서 다루고 있는 부분 외에도 WS-CDL로 대표되는 코리오그래피 기술 언어의 생성부분을 추가하여 참여자간에 연동 구조를 공유할 수 있게 함으로써, 기술 언어의 생성 부분을 추가하기 전보다 참여자간의 원활한 상호연동이 일어날 수 있도록 돕는 등의, 다양한 웹 서비스 구성요소에 대한 유도를 가능하게 할 수 있는 방향을 제시하였다.

유비쿼터스 환경에서는 서비스 사용자가 언제, 어디서나 모든 서비스를 사용할 수 있어야 한다. 즉, 디바이스나 서비스의 상태, 위치 정보 등 특성에 관계 없이 동질의 서비스를 제공해야 한다. 이를 위해 산재한 이질적인 서브네트워크의 상호운용성을 위한 다양한 분산 시스템의 네트워크 프로토콜과 디바이스간의 통신을 통합하기 위한 연구가 필요하다. 서브네트워크의 상호운용성을 위해서는 메시지 전송 및 변환 기능이 요구되며, 서브네트워크의 변화를 동적으로 감지하여 서비스 사용자에게 알려주어야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 유비쿼터스 웹서비스를 지원하기 위한 Web Services on Universal Networks를 제안하였다. 제안하는 WSUN은 Universal Service Broker의 프레임워크를 통해 SOA 기반으로 접근하고 있으며 요구 사항을 정의하여 필요한 구성 요소에 대한 설계하였다. 또한, 동적인 서비스 검색을 위한 Universal Service Registry를 사용한다. 본 논문에서는 DPWS의 동작 시나리오를 통해 이질적인 서브네트워크의 상호운용성을 지원하기 위한 DPWS 어댑터를 설계한다.

최근 자동차 수의 급속한 증가와 대중 교통의 발달로 인하여 ITS(Intelligent Transportation System)과 같은 지리/교통 안내 시스템의 연구 개발이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 시스템의 중요한 기능 중의 하나로 대중 교통의 관리와 안내 서비스가 있다. 특히 우리나라의 경우 아직 많은 사람들이 대중 교통을 이용하고 있고, 대중 교통이 대도시 교통체증의 중요 해결책으로 인식되므로 이러한 기능이 더욱 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷을 통하여 접근할 수 있는 버스 노선 안내 서비스 시스템을 개발한 경험을 소개한다. 버스 노선 안내 서비스 시스템은 사용자가 접근하기 용이해야 하며 실용적인 서비스 결과를 제공할 수 있어야 한다. 또한 추후 개발되는 여러 ITS 구성 요소들과 유기적으로 결합할 수 있는 상호 운용성이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 분산 객체 미들웨어의 표준인 CORBA를 이용하여 인터넷을 통한 접근이 용이하고 상호 운용성이 뛰어난 시스템 구조를 제안하였다. 이 시스템의 구조와 스키마는 추후 다른 대중 교통 안내 서비스 시스템과의 연계 혹은 다른 ITS 구성 요소와의 연계에 쉽게 대응할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Testing ineroperability among various impiementations provided by multi- vendors is not only cistly costly but also inpossible in many real situations. The comformance testing and it's extended testing methodologies are not suf- ficient to effectively guarantee the interoperability.This paper proposes an approach to the protocol interperability test based on a real-time object model which successfully abstracts compunents of real-time systens such as communication networks.In this approach,IUT (Implementation Under Test)and the testing environment are represented by means of the RTO.k model and the resultant objests are executed on the DREAM kemel with local monitors and s global monitor.The local monitors obeserve and control the events,and the global monitor manages the call control protocol of B-ISDN UNI Q.2931 as an example.It indicated that high fault coverage could be obtained with this approach.

We have many difficult problems to efficient development and management of a Web-based education system because of the various requirements of various demanders. A Web-based education system consists of instructors and operation managers of system and learners. Those three factors are the most important e]ements of a Web-based education system and we must consider those elements for design and development. In constructivist approach. acquiring knowledge is made by experiences among each members or elements. So we can say that the constructivist elements of a Web-based education system is learners and instructors, operation managers. In this study, we design and implement a Web-based education system, based on the interactions of extended demanders of Web-based education system in constructivist approach and object oriented modeling. In this study we can improve portability and reduce cost because of platform independence from presented system. And in experiment, we compare and analyse two platform web-based education system a point of effectiveness, cost, convenience.
