일반적으로 애니메이션 안에 표현된 음식은 문화의 정서를 상징적으로 나타낸다. 음식에 대한 상징적 해석에 대해서는 문화기호학적 측면에서도 다양한 연구가 이루어지고 있는데, 본 연구에서는 미국과 일본의 극장판 애니메이션 속에 등장하는 음식장면을 중심으로 하여 미국과 일본 애니메이션에 표현된 문화의 상징적 속성을 밝히고자 한다.

The moral instruction expresses and conveys a abstract objects so called moral. And it pursues occurrence of moral meaning contained a emotion. In these respects, there is a resemblance between moral instruction and artistic symbolic language. Meanwhile, the poetry are a typical form of artistic symbolic language, and especially poetic symbolism is a representative and possible way that expresses accepting a meaning of abstract objects. Then a moral instruction needs to be poetic symbolism. The poetic symbolism that a moral instruction intends to resemble is a linguistic expression, but at the same time that is a expression beyond a linguistic limitation for conveying the metaphysical meaning. For this, the poetic symbolism reveals visible and concrete vehicles that imply invisible and metaphysical tenor. At this point, poetic symbolism is characterized with sameness, implicitness, polysemy, context, allness. The poetic symbolism having these characters appears personal symbol of poet as combined with creative imagination, and is experienced poetic meaning as combined with creative imagination of reader. The moral instruction as a poetic symbolism offers learning experience similar to poetic experience. The moral instruction as a poetic symbolism would be constructed not a logical or prosaic explain but symbolic form that can draw various moral meaning. For this construction, first, we might find a symbolic media for materialization of teaching contents. Second, moral teaching should be constructed to be searching moral meaning of symbolic media. Third, moral teaching should be constructed to be interpreting moral meaning of symbolic media. When teacher can construct moral instruction as possible as similar to poetic symbolism, student can learn moral meaning combined with emotion through their response and interpretation to the teaching. It is very similar to good poem that is sympathized and accommodated poet's theme by reader.

In these days, each local administrative organizations and residents have made constant efforts to achieve unique regional identity and its publicity as a strategy for 'Place Marketing'. Developing a proper symbolic regional theme for the area can bring the economic and cultural vitality to the local areas. The purpose of this study is to investigate and to analyze the contents of theme and expression methods of local theme museums of Japan for last 20years. The types of regional themes appeared as 'Physical' part like topography/ecology, relics and manmade facilities, and 'Social ＆ Cultural' part like industry, culture, people or historic events. The cases of expression methods such as Representation, Metaphor, Symbol and Metonymy could be also found. There was an increasing tendency applying and expressing the symbolic regional theme more impressively as the time passed.

In order to deeply understand the significance of death aesthetics in contemporary art, this research first summarizes the development process of death aesthetics in art works with popular perspectives, and then classifies and discusses death aesthetics in modern art works. The results of this study are as follows: First, the aesthetic expressions of death are divided into two types: death reproducibility and death symbolism. Death reproducibility includes reproducibility of real objects and reproducibility of imaginary objects. The symbolism of death can be divided into external and internal manifestations. Secondly, in contemporary art, the reproducibility of death through the description of death scenes has increased the various problems and philosophical significance caused by death. Third, in contemporary art, the symbolism meaning of death is not just something directly related to death, it also shows the various psychological states brought about by death. Subsequent research will promote the artists' visual expression of the aesthetics of death in artworks, and the profound changes in meaning that result from it.

Analyzing the inner meaning and expression of philosophy by analyzing the composition, symbolic expression, and style of the film with high artistic perfection, which contains the spirit of the times, considers human beings through society and history, and raises awareness of life and the present generation. It will be a very meaningful and valuable study in film as art. The movie 'Rome' was cut into the rest of the public's mind by being tempered, hidden and omitted, and the color was black and white. Many aesthetic attempts can be found through symbolic images expressing the ironic message of maid's daily life as a race, capital, socially oppressed history. It can be seen that he expresses his own authorism visual language by drawing symbolic expressions through many contrasts and symbolic expressions through objects. The analysis of commercial films containing these artistic values is expected to help in the future production as a measure of the progress of art films and precedents of authorism expression techniques.

과거부터 사람들은 달을 인지해왔으며, 인류는 지속적으로 달을 관찰하고 탐구를 멈추지 않았다. 지역문화와 민족문화가 다르기 때문에 달의 이미지에 관한 다른 이해를 바탕으로 미술, 건축, 종교 등에 반영되어 왔다. 영화기술의 발전과 더불어 다양한 영상콘텐츠에도 달이 등장해왔다. 하지만 달에 대한 상징성 연구가 미흡하여 영상콘텐츠에서의 달 이미지 활용에 어려움이 있어왔다. 때문에 본 연구를 통해 영상콘텐츠에서 표현된 달 이미지를 연구하여 달의 의미를 분석하고 표현 방법에 대한 전문성을 높이고자 한다. 연구방법은 첫째, 지역 및 문화별 달의 의미를 제시한다. 둘째, 달과 여성의 이미지 사이의 관계를 이론적 배경으로 제시한다. 셋째, 달의 여성상징적 의미에 관한 영상콘텐츠 작품 사례를 분석하였다. 연구결과 동서양 신화에 등장하는 달의 여성상징은 영상콘텐츠에서 등장인물의 이름과 디자인의 활용 등이 주를 이루었다. 본 연구를 통해 달에 대한 상징에 대한 동서양의 특징을 도출하고, 향후 영상콘텐츠 작품 창작에 활용되기를 기대한다.

Presenting symbolic concepts consistent with the culture of the host country and international trends at international events will win the favor of the world and raise the image of the host country. The international event mascot symbolically represents the host country's unique culture, and is a good means to enhance the sense of belonging and pride of its members and to display the image of the host country in an outwardly. This study discussed the symbolic elements of the host country characteristics reflected in FIFA's World Cup event mascot. A total of 14 mascots of World Cup events were held from 1966 to 2018, and their materials can be divided into animals, plants, people and creations. The mascot was applied with the characteristic elements of regional specialties, the flag of the host country, symbolic attire, language of the hosting area, social issues and the mascot's dress, posture, props and expression characters of soccer events were used as symbolic elements. First of all, the implications of the research were that mascots were more strongly expressing the "football" signifying element, the theme of events, rather than regional characteristics. Second, the use of 'national flag' was highlighted among the elements of expressing regional characteristics. Third, 'animal' was preferred for mascot material. Fourth, mascots have become integrated with 'cultural perfumes' and play an extended role in raising social awareness. Implications derived from the classification of characteristics and symbol representation elements raised in this study will be used as a basis for the planning of international event mascots.

In general, food depicted in animated films symbolically conveys cultural emotions. And yet, as diverse studies have shown, even from the perspective of cultural semiotics, there are different ways to interpret food symbolism. This study focuses on food depicted in American and Japanese animation, through a comparative analysis of scenes from "The Simpsons" (1989-present), the longest-running American animated program, and "Atashin'chi" (2002-2009), a much-beloved animated sitcom that follows the daily experiences of a Japanese family. It is hoped that the research presented here may be applied as a criterion in the production stage for understanding the cognitive function of cultural underpinnings and symbolic expression in animated works.

본 연구는 낭만주의 화가 프란시스코 고야의 작품 <아들을 먹어치우는 사투르누스>의 영감을 토대로 춤연극 를 제작하였다. 따라서 제작과정에 나타난 움직임의 상징적 의미와 언어적 소통의 다섯 가지 분석을 시도하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 표현주의를 대표하는 고야의 작품 <아들을 먹어치우는 사투르누스>에 나타난 공포와 괴기 속에 드러난 소통과 상징성은 움직임의 표현적 이미지에 하나의 'signal'적(的) 소통으로 직결되었다. 둘째, 프란시스코 고야가 나타낸 인간의 잔인성, 참혹함이 춤연극 제작을 통해 다른 의미로의 해석이 가능했다. 이것은 움직임 상징성과 역동적 에너지가 갖는 의미와 해석의 다양성으로 인식된다. 셋째, 정적이미지의 그림요소와 색채가 갖는 상징성은 춤연극의 언어적 유희와 움직임의 다섯 가지 상징적 이미지 체계로 정리되었다.
