New Fault-detection Methodology of high-level event in VHDL models (VHDL 모델의 상위레벨고장 검출방법)

  • In this paper, high-level events that adjust or control the conflicts between blocks or process statement, or job sequences are defined compared to low-level events. This paper proposes that high-level events consist of resources conflicts and protocol or specification-dependent conflicts, and two low-level coverage metrics can be used to defect high-level events.

  • In this paper, we propose a modeling method for the flip-flops and test generation algorithms to detect the faults in the sequential circuits using VHDL in the high-level design environment. RS, JK, D and T flip-flops are modeled using data flow types. The sequence of micro-operation which is the basic structure of a chip-level leads to a control point where varnishing occurs to one of two micro- operation sequence. In order to model the fault of one micro-operation(FMOP) that perturb another micro-operation effectively, the concept of goal trees and some heuristic rules are used. Given a faulty FMOP or fault of control point (FCON), a test pattern is generated by fault sensitization, path sensitization and determination of the imput combinations that will justify the path sensitization. The fault models are restricted to the data flow model in the ARCHITECTURE statement of VHDL. The proposed algorithm is implemented in the C language and its efficiency is confirmed by some examples.

  • This paper presents an integrated fault diagnosis algorithm for driving motor of In-wheel independent drive electric vehicle. Especially, this paper proposes a method that integrated the high level fault diagnosis and the low level fault diagnosis in order to improve a robustness and performance of the fault diagnosis system. The high level fault diagnosis is performed using the vehicle dynamics analysis and the low level fault diagnosis is carried using the motor system analysis. The validity of the high level fault diagnosis algorithms was verified through $Carsim^{(R)}$ and MATLAB/$Simulink^{(R)}$ cosimulation and the low level fault diagnosis's validity was shown by applying it to a MATLAB/$Simulink^{(R)}$ interior permanent magnet synchronous motor control system. Finally, this paper presents a fault diagnosis strategy by combining the high level fault diagnosis and the low level fault diagnosis.

  • 본 고에서는 565Mbit/s 광전송시스팀에서 절체작용이 단국과 단국 또는 단국과 중계국, 중계국과 중계국에서 서로 절체가 가능한 절체제어 알고리즘을 제시하였으며, 최대 절체 완료시간이내에 절체가 이루어질 수 있도록 단국과 단국사이에 설치 가능한 최대 중계국 수를 계산하였다. 또한 중계국수가 증가함에 따라 비정상적인 제어가 발생하지 않도록 각 국에 설치된 절체장치의 역할, 절체 구간내의 절체장치가 고장시 감시제어계의 상위레벨에 있는 MMC를 백업(back up)수단으로 이용하는 방법에 관해 기술하였다.

Coverage metrics for high-level events in behavioral model verification (동작적 모델 검증의 상위 레벨 사건에 대한 검출률 측정법)

  • The complexity of IC has rapidly increased as VLSI fabrication technology has grown up quickly. This paper proposes verification methods for data conflicts and protocol between IPs for SoC with coverage metrics. The high-level events is defined to cooperation between blocks or process statement in HDL, or a sequence of performing a job compared to low-level event. They are classified into two categories, resource conflicts and protocol or specification-dependent conflicts. And two coverage metrics used for code coverage in low-level event are proposed to verify the hish-level events. The events of resource conflicts can be detected by using statement coverage metric if global signal or variable has flags in a testbench program, and protocol-dependent events can be checked by data flow metric or path metric.

  • To obtain realistic composite performance and availability measures, one should consider performance changes that are associated with failure recovery behavior. In this paper we address two modeling approaches, exact composite and approximate, and develop SRN models for these approaches. The former approach is to combine the performance and availability models and yields accurate results but generally faces largeness problem. To avoid the problem, the two level hierarchical model is developed. The upper level model describes the failure and repair behavior of the system and the lower level captures the pure performance aspect of the system, channel allocation and service. It models guard channel and preemptive handoff scheme. As numerical results, blocking and dropping probabilities are given for new call and handoff call, respectively.
