The physicochemical properties of dried oak mushrooms were investigated to determine the comparative effects of ethylene oxide (E.O) fumigation and gamma irradiation with doses at 1 and 5 kGy. The total amino acid content was relatively stable in irradiated groups in comparison with the control. Treatments with gamma irradiation did not effect the content of reducing sugar but caused en increase in free sugars, such as mannitol, arabitol and trehalose. There were no significant differences in concentrations of minerals. The amount of water and fat soluble pigments and the rancidity of the samples stored at $25^{\circ}C$ increased with increasing the storage time and the relative humidity, and the tendency to change was more apparent in E.O. fumigated sample than gamma irradiated one.

Calcifying fibrous tumors (CFTs) are unusual benign tumors of childhood, located primarily in soft tissues, pleura, and peritoneum. The cause and pathogenesis are unclear. We report a rare case of a CFT in a 2-year-old boy who presented with vomiting and abdominal distension. An abdominal X-ray showed an elliptical, calcific shadow in the LUQ area mimicking a foreign body. An internally protruding mass along the lesser curvature of the gastric body was an incidental finding during upper endoscopy, biopsies of which were negative. Abdominal CT showed a 4.5${\times}$3.2 cm soft tissue mass of the gastric wall with calcifications. A diagnosis of gastric submucosal mass was suspected and a wedge resection of the stomach was performed. On microscopic examination, the tumor was composed of whorls of dense hyalinized collagen bundles with a few fibroblasts. There were also amorphous dystrophic calcifications and nodular aggregates of mononuclear inflammatory cells. Immunohistochemically, spindle cells did not stain for anaplastic lymphoma kinase-1 (ALK-1), CK, smooth muscle actin (SMA), or desmin. Taken together, the mass was compatible with a CFT of the gastric wall. This is the first reported case of CFT in a Korean child.

Pilocarpine is an imidazole alkaloid, found exclusively in the Pilocarpus genus, with huge pharmaceutical importance. In order to extract pilocarpine from Pilocarpus jaborandi, environmentally friendly enzyme-assisted extraction was applied. Viscozyme$^{(R)}$ L, a commercially available enzyme cocktail, was used for the study. The conditions for extraction were optimized on the basis of substrates, enzymes, temperatures and pHs. Optimum conditions for extraction with the highest yield were 30 h reaction of 100 mg substance at $45^{\circ}C$ in 40 ml of 50 mM acetic acid, pH 4. A 10% enzyme concentration was found to be the best for extraction. Total pilocarpine content after extraction was analyzed by HPLC. The total pilocarpine content ($1.14{\mu}g/mg$) obtained from Viscozyme$^{(R)}$ L treatment was 3.08-fold greater than those of the control treatment ($0.37{\mu}g/mg$).

Korean popular music industry, which is lead by "Idol group", has forsaken their fandom all over the world. Therefore, idol groups has become not only an artist but also the most influential people in the Korean economy. A global idol group with a strong fandom can earn more than a trillion-dollar by attracting their global fan's interest in Korea. In other words, it is considerably important to carry the idol to a successful conclusion. This study tries to expect whether the idols can be survived or not at a certain point after their debut by ANN, Decision Tree, Random Forest. We decide that certain point as the three-year and eight-year after their debut, because it is their break-even point year and the year after their average renewal of the contract. In addition, this study also explains which feature is the most important to their survival by feature importance and Logistic regression. In conclusion, features like the number of idol competitors, the number of debut members and the number of the genre are significant. These results shed light on the efficient management of K-Pop idol to improve industrial competitiveness.

Changes in proximate composition and protein quality were determined to find out appropriate processing conditions of the seasoned and smoked squid(Neon flying squid, Ommastrephes bartrannii). Moisture and crude protein contents were severely reduced (p<0.05), while increasing of fat and ash contents were not apparent. Seasoning and smoking contributed iii enhancing TBA value. Trypsin inhibitor(Tl) content was not increased severely after those processing steps. TI content checked in the all steps of squid processing was not correlated with the TBA value of squid in the same processing step. An improved digestibility and protein efficiency ratio(PER) were observed in the all products except with steak(mechanically soften product) in vitro enzymatic digestibilities of both raw Neon flying squid meats(mantle and arm) were significantly inferior(p<0.05) to other squid species.

This study aims to examine the differences of Humor Preferences and Uses by the distinction of sex and age. For this purpose, an experimental survey was analyzed. The major findings of this analysis could be summarized like as follows: There is few significant difference in the sex distinction, although men prefer aggressive humor more than women. But there are significant differences in the distinction of age. The teenagers prefer nonverbal humor compare to other ages, and the over forties prefer verbal humor. There are also significant differences of humor uses between age groups. The under twenties use humor more than over thirties. This study deliberates on the reason why there are significant differences of humor preferences and uses in the distinction of age. This study suggests one of the reasons which is related with face consciousness of korean.

When hot-rolled wide flanges are used as vertical compressive or bending member, opening web are often to take a space for equipments of pipe or duct. The Web of hot-rolled wide flange steel with opening may be analyzed as a rectangular plate, subjected to in plane force, and the buckling load is governed by the ultimate force of web. The result of the theory showed close agreement with the result of the finite element analysis. It was also shown that the buckling loads of stiffened opening plates could be larger than those of the plate. The stiffened opening plates for the 4-side simply supported case showed more stiffening effect than the Two Opposite Elastic Supports and Two Other Opposite Simply Supports case. In this study, we proposed the effective opening sizes that buckling loads of stiffened opening plate could be greater than those of the plates.

A primary factor affecting on the design of soft ground is to determine the soil properties (Compression index, Coefficient of consolidation) and the depth of soft ground. It could be the basic sources to estimate settlement behavior of soft ground. Even though the reliable soil examination equipment was used to examine soil to determine the depth of soft ground, it's very hard to find out the accurate properties of soft ground, because the condition of indoor experiment cannot reproduce the circumstances of ground perfectly. Therefore, this study was re-estimated to find out the most reliable soil properties by using back-analysis with field monitoring data of "Site preparation for Airplane Mooring of Incheon International Airport Phase II Development" for 317days.

The changes in the concentration of toropherol and carotenoid in pinenut oil at various stage of refining are studied during autoxidation. The oxidative stability of pinenut oil decreased with the refining degree increased. The tocopheol content of total crude oil was 55.51mg/100g oil and $\alpha$, ${\gamma}$and $\beta$-tocopherol in the crude oil were 25.48mg, 23.94mg and 6.99mg in order, respectively. The amount of $\delta$-tocopherol was trace. The concentrations of $\alpha$, ${\gamma}$ and $\beta$-tocopherol in pinenut oil after degumming or alkaline refining were 23. 85mg, 19.79mg and 6.12mg or 24.08mg, 24.04mg and 5.33mg, respectively. The content of f-carotene was 0.63% of total unsaponifiable materials and that of lycopene was trace. The concentrations of carotenoids and toropherols in pinenut oil decreased while autoxidation progressed. Degrees of destruction of carotenoids and toropherols. were significant at first stage of oxidation. Decrease in $\alpha$-toropherol was found to be faster than that in $\alpha$, ${\gamma}$-tocopherol during oxidation.

If MSW(Municipal Solid Waste) landfill is used as a foundation ground of construction site, the change of loading condition may cause a large amount of compression in MSW landfill. Therefore, the reinforcement for the loose compression nature of MSW landfill would be very important design factor to geotechnical engineers in considering the end-use of the landfill. In this study, a possible technique for stabilizing MSW landfill with use of codisposal of municipal solid waste and Fly Ash is discussed. In order to estimate the stabilization of compression characteristic of codisposed landfill, large compression test and lysimeter test were performed. According to the test results, as the proportion of Fly Ash increases, the compression might be reduced, but the permeability might be also reduced. Therefore, it is necessary to take into account the both characteristics changes in real application.
