  • 전력수요는 다양한 외부요인으로부터 영향을 받으므로 전력수요 예측 시 각 요인과의 상관관계를 고려할 필요가 있다. 본 논문은 Stepwise 다중회귀분석법을 이용한 일일 최대전력수요 예측 방법을 제시하였다. 사례연구에서는 2014년 평일 전력수요데이터를 이용하여 제안된 예측방법을 적용하고 그 결과를 평가하였다.

Correlation Power Analysis Attack on Lightweight Block Cipher LEA and Countermeasures by Masking (경량 블록암호 LEA에 대한 상관관계 전력분석 공격 및 마스킹 대응 기법)

  • Lightweight Encryption Algorithm (LEA) that was standardized as a lightweight block cipher was implemented with 8-bit data path, and the vulnerability of LEA encryption processor to correlation power analysis (CPA) attack was analyzed. The CPA used in this paper detects correct round keys by analyzing correlation coefficient between the Hamming distance of the computed data by applying hypothesized keys and the power dissipated in LEA crypto-processor. As a result of CPA attack, correct round keys were detected, which have maximum correlation coefficients of 0.6937, 0.5507, and this experimental result shows that block cipher LEA is vulnerable to power analysis attacks. A masking method based on TRNG was proposed as a countermeasure to CPA attack. By applying masking method that adds random values obtained from TRNG to the intermediate data of encryption, incorrect round keys having maximum correlation coefficients of 0.1293, 0.1190 were analyzed. It means that the proposed masking method is an effective countermeasure to CPA attack.

  • Correlation Power Analysis (CPA) is a type of Side-Channel Analysis (SCA) that extracts the secret key using the correlation coefficient both side-channel information leakage by cryptography device and intermediate value of algorithms. Attack performance of the CPA is affected by noise and temporal synchronization of power consumption leaked. In the recent years, various researches about the signal processing have been presented to improve the performance of power analysis. Among these signal processing techniques, compression techniques of the signal based on Principal Component Analysis (PCA) has been presented. Selection of the principal components is an important issue in signal compression based on PCA. Because selection of the principal component will affect the performance of the analysis. In this paper, we present a method of selecting the principal component by using the correlation of the principal components and the power consumption is high and a CPA technique based on the principal component that utilizes the feature that the principal component has different. Also, we prove the performance of our method by carrying out the experiment.

  • This paper proposed the estimating method of electromagnetic dosimetric reliability at in-vivo and in-vitro experiments. For more accurate consequences of these researches, we have tried to find out any correlations among output power, power density and specific absorption rate(SAR) with the results of in-vivo, in-vitro tests and SAR reports of cellular phone and PDA. In the case of in-vivo tests, the power density has close statistical correlations with SAR value and in the event of in-vitro tests, the output power has considerable statistical correlations with SAR containing duty factor. We analysed the coefficient of determination to estimate the dosimeoic uncertainty. If we use this method before evaluating techniques of measurement and analysis at both in-vivo and in-vitro experiments, we will conduct more accurate reliability test.

  • RSA-CRT is a widely used algorithm that provides high performance implementation of the RSA-signature algorithm. Many previous studies on each operation step have been published to verify the physical leakages of RSA-CRT when used in smart devices. This paper proposes SAED (subtraction algorithm analysis on equidistant data), which extracts sensitive information using the event information of the subtraction operation in a reduction algorithm. SAED is an attack method that uses algorithm-dependent power signal changes. An adversary can extract a key using differential power analysis (DPA) of the subtraction operation. This paper indicates the theoretical rationality of SAED, and shows that its results are better than those of other methods. According to our experiments, only 256 power traces are sufficient to acquire one block of data. We verify that this method is more efficient than those proposed in previously published studies.

  • Since air compressor, as an essential equipment used in the factory and plant operations, accounts for around 20% of the total domestic electricity consumption, a real time sensor data monitoring based analysis for electricity consumption reduction is important. In particular, flow rates and pressures of these monitored variables has a direct correlation with the power consumption. This paper proposes a method to identify if the measurement error of the flow rate sensor comes from the sensor measurement limit through bivariate classification analysis of the flow rate and power using the EM (Expectation and Maximization) Algorithm and show how to enable more accurate analysis by the correlation between the flow rate and power on the right-censored data.

  • 본 논문에서는 환경 시험 중 한가지 방법인 진동 시험(Vibration test) 프로파일을 적용하여 고출력 리튬이온18650 셀(cell)에 물리적인 진동을 가하고 진동 시험 전 후 고출력 리튬이온 18650 셀의 전기적 특성 기반 내부 파라미터를 추출하였다. 통계적 기법인 상관 관계 및 대응 표본 t 검정을 적용하여 내부 파라미터인 방전 용량(discharged capacity), 방전 저항(discharged resistance), OCV(open circuit voltage) 간의 관계 및 변화를 비교 분석하였다.

  • The accumulation of salt contamination could be the source of electrical accident. The degree of contamination on outdoor insulator is represented by ESDD(equivalent salt deposit density). The salt is transported by the wind to the outdoor insulator and cleaned by the rain. So, we can estimate the relation between climatic data and ESDD by using the multiple regression method. The results of pre-study presented the high relation coefficient(0.874). But these results couldn't apply to another period So, this paper improves above problem by mathematical process of climatic data The main method is accumulation of passed climatic data and conversion of the rainfall by the wind. Then, we confirmed the increasement of relation coefficient(0.898).

  • 모바일 환경에서는 배터리 용량의 한계로 에너지 효율성이 매우 중요하나, CPU의 이용률에 기반한 DVFS로는 소비 전력 감소에 한계가 존재한다. 모바일 어플리케이션은 사용자와의 상호 동작에 따라 다른 성향을 보여주기 때문에, 이 특성을 이용하여 사용자가 체감하는 성능저하 없이 소비 전력을 줄일 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 사용자 입력과 어플리케이션 간의 상관 관계를 바탕으로 수행 단계를 분석하였으며, 이에 맞추어 CPU 동작 주파수 범위를 조절함으로써 사용자 반응성을 유지하면서 소비 전력을 줄이는 방법을 제안한다. 이를 안드로이드 플랫폼에 적용하여 실험한 결과, 기존 대비 휴대폰의 이용 시간을 최대 2시간 증가시켰다.

  • 2001년 전력산업에 경쟁을 도입하면서 추진된 변동비반영 발전경쟁시장을 지난 7년간 운영하면서 개설초기부터 관심을 보이던 전력가격은 상당히 안정적인 모습을 보여왔다. 그러나 개설초기에 대부분의 사람들이 수요가 급등하는 하절기에 전력가격이 최고치를 기록할 것으로 예상해온 것과는 달리 하절기에는 오히려 가격이 하락하는 현상을 보여져왔다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 현상이 시장가격은 수요뿐이 아닌 예비율과 관련을 갖기 때문임을 통계적 방법을 이용하여 검증해보았다. 또한 시장참여발전기 중 특히 기저발전기가 미치는 영향을 조사였다.
