The demands of urban people for rural natural environments will increase but poor and low level of infrastructure facilities delay the development of green tourism villages as an attractive green tour destination. The objective of this paper are to offered a rural landscape improvement simulation of a aqueduct and designing that to meet the needs of the community.

Global society is shifting and now evolving towards glocalization, meaning the increasing role of region and multi scalar interactions between region and global social world. In this glocalization era, there has been mushrooming literature and much discussions on the impacts of place-branding and place-marketing on regional development both in academia and practical researches. The inclusive and participatory creative place-making process, however, is more quintessential than the resultant place marketing strategy. This paper tries to reassess the creative place-making based on culture-led regional development perspectives. Specifically it compares Korea and Japan's strategies and suggests a hybrid model of place-making-branding-marketing, utilizing cultural content industries. It then stresses the importance of building a virtuous circle of sustainable regional cultural industrial ecosystem including culture-based interpretation of places and improvement of community quality of life.

Since 2005, the government began to introduce and promote a new project delivery system, BTL(Build, Transfer, and Lease), in order to provide high level of public services for the upgraded quality of life and to boost the domestic and local construction economy. However, the lack of experiences in the new system by the constituents from diverse economic sectors brought a number of drawbacks from each constituent's perspective such as improperly low earning rate, excessive expenses for preparation of the project proposal, imbalanced regulations, heavy cost and procedures to establish SPC, the ineffective structure of the consortium, the short-term oriented evaluation criteria for the selection and so forth. These drawbacks turned out to be obstacles for the successful BTL projects. Hence, this paper analyzes the above issues and conducts the interviews with the professionals from the diverse sectors in order to propose the changes to resolve those for the improvement and finally to deliver the successful BTL projects for the diverse public owners.

The basic goal of urban safety is to support citizens' quality of life and city competitiveness, and its importance is increasing. Since the risk of disasters is growing, there is a growing demand from society for minimizing the damage by preventing and responding to them in advance. In case of urban governments, securing safety emerges as one of the most important policy tasks due to natural disasters such as heavy rain and heavy snow and human disasters such as various accidents. Recently, it is emphasized the necessity to increase the prevention effect through disaster analysis using Big Data. This study examined paradigm change of disaster safety management using big data centering on Seoul city. In particular, the study tried case analysis from the viewpoint of maximizing effective government services for disaster safety management, and sought the strategic meaning in connection with the ordinance.

The study aims to suggests mobile application service that helps to reduce physical and mental suffering after surgery for breast cancer patients constantly increasing. At first, I analyze literature research to understand the breast cancer and similar services for achieving study purposes. After I finally design a mobile application that offers to customed one-to-one specialist coaching service focused on post-treatment management by using a double diamond design process model. In detail, first, I analyze the current program and comprehend user needs through interviews with the person such as breast patient, protector, nurse, salesperson in cancer center. Second, I specify the entire scenario, concept and keyword based on the persona and the customer journey map representing user. Third, I propose the mobile application for the ultimate goal by producing prototype to effectively communicate with specific functional descriptions. I hope this service will improve the quality of their lives.

With the advent of u-City(ubiquitous city) concept, the importance of urban management has been increased. GIS is a foundation for the efficient urban management and an essential technology for the development of u-City. u-City, which aims for convenient, safe, healthy, and comfortable life, provides diverse services based on advanced information technologies, and it will offer more services in the future. u-City integrated management platform enables the ease of service development, guarantees the quality of services for the resident, and provides organic information sharing. Moreover, the platform by integrating GIS and other common management functions, makes possible efficient urban management. In this paper, required functions of u-City integrated management platform for u-City service were analyzed. As a result, GIS module for management of street lights and supervision of fire was developed and the application usability of u-City integrated management platform was verified by service simulation.

The purpose of this research is to reveal the problems of the Western based development discourse, and to derive the future direction of postdevelopment as sustainable development. This study attempted to reveal the historical process of formation and change on development discourse. Development generally regarded as the overcome of underdevelopment, inducing the marginalization of the South as a place to follow the development model of the North. State based development discourse (Keynesian development discourse) focused on the growth by industrialization, and the supreme aim of the South was to overcome the underdevelopment. Neoliberalism development discourse emphasized on the market principle based on free competition which was recognized as the best way to provide development. However, neoliberalism discourse has been criticized for the concentration of power and inequality of class, causing on the consideration of postdevelopment because of its emphasis on growth rather than distribution and life value. This research revealed the ways of postdevelopment with fair trade and ethical consumption. However, fair trade and ethical consumption discourses clearly show somewhat limitation subsuming into neoliberal development discourse. In this respect, future ways for postdevelopment have to consider the overcoming of powers based on market and capital, and to orient into the value of redistribution in development process.

The main aim of this study is a meta-theoretical investigation to explain the current theoretical landscape of social innovation theories and researches. First of all, this paper makes a typology of social innovation based on concepts and sectors of social innovation. Second, in terms of societal innovation, which it is a kind of social innovation systematic approach, this paper draws some implications for social innovation policy. My key argument is that social innovation could be specified in three different sectors, public innovation, market innovation, and social economy innovation. However, all of them have attention to such as improving a quality of life and making society more sustainable, so it can be argued that those different sectors are structured on social innovation altogether with common goals. Finally, in order to activate the social innovation ecosystem, the government has to play a key role as a facilitator to make sustainable networks and a governance of social innovation that is needed to coordinate between different features and roles of social innovation sectors.

U-Health is abbreviated from ubiquitous Health. Its final aim is "to improve the quality of life. To realize it, it is needed to generalize IT infrastructure such as the development of information-technology and construction of network. It is guaranteed to get medical care benefits unconsciously every time and everywhere based on this system. In this study, the environment of unconscious measurement was set up through ultra-violet instead of the existing Probe to wear with finger to follow this. TFT-LCD was included into module for display. U-Healthcare focused on the minimization and portable characteristic through the designed Zigbee communication module. Handled healthcare device was developed based on the U-Healthcare.

"사실 국가건축정책위원장 책임을 떠안는 것에 고민을 많이 했습니다. 작금 건축의 본질에 관해 꽤 진지하게 논하는 결정권자들이 많아진 상황에서 직을 맡은 이상 그냥 시간만 보내진 않을 겁니다. 평소 생각한 건축계의 부족한, 불합리한, 불비한 부분을 임기 중 완전히 고치진 못한다 하더라도 시작은 해놓고 끝내려 합니다." 작년 4월 취임한 승효상 대통령소속 국가건축정책위원장이 국내 건축계 현안에 대한 생각과 앞으로의 계획을 설명했다. 그가 걸어온 삶의 궤적에는 건축의 공공성 문화적 가치라는 단어들이 새겨져 있으며, 이는 그가 활동해 온 건축계 여러 운동 모임에서도 살펴볼 수 있다. 지식인으로서 마땅히 지녀야 할 건축사(Architect)의 책무에 관해서는 쓴소리도 서슴지 않았던 그다. 2014년 서울시 '초대 총괄건축가'로 선임돼 서울시의 도시정책과 건축문화, 공공 공간조성 등 도시계획 전반에 대해 역할을 했다면, 이젠 국가 건축정책의 목표와 관계 부처간 건축정책의 심의.조정까지 그 역할범위가 커졌다. 필드의 건축사라면 승효상 국가건축정책위원장에게 기대하는 바가 큰 게 사실이다. 실제 그의 취임 후 정부 내 국건위의 위상은 과거와 달라졌으며, 작년 9월 4일에는 문재인 대통령이 서울 은평구 구산동 도서관마을에서 열린 '대한민국 국민생활 SOC현장 방문, 동네 건축현장을 가다' 행사에 참석해 도서관, 체육관, 경로당 등 '생활 SOC 혁신의지'를 강조해 눈길을 끌었다. 최근 정부세종신청사 설계공모 관련 논란에는 "국토부에 소관 설계공모 규정을 고쳐야 함을 권고했다. 고칠 거다! 안 고치면 안 되게 돼 있다!"며 목소리에 힘을 주어 재차 강조했다. 제5기 대통령소속 국가건축정책위원장으로 선임돼 지난해 4월부터 역할을 해온 승효상 건축사를 종로구 동숭동 (주)종합건축사사무소 이로재(履露齋)에서 만났다.
