The administrative service in Chosun Dynasty relating to mathematics was carried out by the middle class(中人) mathematicians selected by the official selection examination(取才). They belong to HoJo(戶曹) department and their ranks are GyeSa(計士), ByulJe(別提), HunDo(訓導 = mathematics teacher), and GyoSu(敎授 = mathematics professor). We call them SanWon(算員). HunDo and GyoSu played very important role although their ranks are low, for they educate SanWon and manage the official selection examination. Using JuHakSeonSaengAn(籌學先生案, List of mathematics teachers) and JuHakIpGyukAn(籌學入格案, List of successful candidates in the official selection examination for mathematics), we investigate HunDo and GyoSu in Chosun Dynasty.

We considered the context of the publications and transmissions of mathematics books using the Korean traditional book lists and the catalogues of woodblocks in the Joseon Dynasty and DaeHan大韓 Empire period. Among the results, this paper first describes the context of the publication and transmission of mathematics textbooks of national math exams算學取才 in the first half of Joseon, adding a step more specific to the facts known so far. In 1430, 『YangHui SanFa楊輝算法』, 『XiangMing SuanFa詳明算法』, 『SuanXue QiMeng算學啓蒙』, 『DiSuan地算』, 『WuCao SuanJing五曹算經』 were selected as the textbooks of national math exams算學取才. 『YangHui SanFa』, 『XiangMing SuanFa』, 『DiSuan』 were included in the catalogues of woodblocks in the Joseon Dynasty before the Japanese invasion in 1592, and we could see that Gyeongju慶州, Chuncheon春川, and Wonju原州 were the printing centers of these books. Through other lists, literature records and real text books, it came out into the open that 『XiangMing SuanFa』 was published as movable print books three times at least, 『SuanXue QiMeng』 four times at least in the first half of Joseon Dynasty. And 『XiangMing SuanFa』 was published at about 100 years later than 『YangHui SanFa楊輝算法』 as xylographic books, 『SuanXue QiMeng』 was published twice as xylographic books in the second half of Joseon Dynasty. Whether or not the list of royal books included the Korean or Chinese versions of these books, and additional notation in that shows how the royal estimation of these books changed.

This study was conducted on daily news reporters working in Seoul to determine the factors/characteristics causing job stress and potential countermeasures. The survey was conducted by interviewing 170 daily news reporters who took part in the study from March 3rd to March 7th 2013. The analysis of the information was performed by frequency analysis, T-test and One-way ANOVA, correlation analysis etc. using the SPSS Win 21.0 program and the empirical analysis was verified at the 5% level of significance. First, the following results of the analysis were meaningful because current journalists and reporters showed reduced levels of stress when their job satisfaction was high. Secondary, smoking and art activity to alleviate their job stress were found to be strong stress countermeasures. Third, there were significant differences in those who had high levels of job stress and exhibited stronger ways of coping with it. This study affirms an alternative in basic policy, which can provide a working environment that helps journalists to perform their work proficiently and steadily.

《Xiangming Suanfa》 is a mathematics text published in 1373. The preface and postscript of the block books 《Xiangming Suanfa》 in the Joseon Dynasty were published as they had been in the original text from China. It can be considered to be based on 《Xiangming Suanfa》 was published in Mingjingtang. The five different block books which is published in Korea, possessed in Yonsei University Library, Sanghuh Memorial Library of Konkuk University and the National Library of Korea, were compared. Through recension-correction of the text, this thesis is intended to help researchers in utilizing the research by providing fine print.
