Assessment of Defect Risks in Apartment Projects based on the Defect Classification Framework (공동주택 하자분류체계 기반 하자위험 평가)

  • In general, defects cause a lot of maintenance costs and serious damage to various stakeholders, such as the owners, contractors or occupants of apartments. For this reason, a systematic and efficient defect management method is needed to minimize defect disputes. This paper derives a defect classification framework and proposes a defect risk assessment model for different types of defects. For this purpose, 6,000 defect items are allocated to the defect classification framework; these items are associated with 34 apartment projects over ten years old. As a result of this analysis, it was confirmed that the defect risks are concentrated in the areas of RC and finishing work. Based on these results, it is necessary to prevent the major risks of defects according to their priority. Based on this research, it is judged that further research to develop a method of managing the risks of defects may be necessary.

The Effects of Forest Experience Activities on Promoting Children's Community Spirit (숲 체험 활동이 유아의 공동체 의식함양에 미치는 효과)

  • This study is aimed at exploring the effects of forest experience activities on promoting children's community spirit. To achieve this, a pre-post survey was empirically carried out with 40 children at Kindergarten A in the city of Chungnam. The comprehensive findings showed a significant difference between the experimental group, which had forest experience activities, and the control group, which had outdoor activities based on the existing Nuri curriculum. Based on a pre-test for intimacy, emotion, mutual public awareness, and participation consciousness as sub-factors of community spirit, which adopted all the research hypotheses, the results suggest that the forest kindergarten will become an educational place for children. Consequently, personality education using nature in forest kindergartens can become an excellent goal, helping to boost the development of children's sensitivity and emotional stability through awakening the five senses; building up self-awareness, self-reliance, and trust; learning consideration and respect for others; and developing positive attitudes, sociality, potential, imagination, and creativity through forest activities with their peers.

A study on Performance Oriented Industry-University Cooperation Convergence Program Model Based on Empirical Analysis of Satisfaction Evaluation for Family Companies (가족회사의 산학협력 프로그램 만족도 평가를 통한 성과 지향적 융복합 산학협력지원 프로그램 모형 연구)

  • In this paper we investigate relation between participation and satisfaction of industry-university co-program with the view of evaluating performance of industry-university cooperation. The importance rank and satisfaction of university-industry co-programs have statistically positive correlation. In regression model, the number of participating co-programs affects the general satisfaction positively. These results implement that the companies have interest in 'industry-university cooperation forum' in initial stage of industry university cooperation, and take part in 'technology co-development program' and gradually enhance availability of other co-programs.

A Study on The Improvement of Related Regulation System for The Utility Tunnel Activation (지하공동구 활성화를 위한 관련규정 체계 개선에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of a utility tunnel is to prevent repeated excavation as well as disasters and calamity. Domestic utility tunnels have been built in new town development plans. Currently, it is difficult to establish a utility tunnel due to a conflict of opinions by organization and financing. In this paper, research was conducted based on systematic procedures to suggest ways of improving the activation of utility tunnels in new cities and existing cities. First, a survey was conducted on the laws and status of utility tunnels, and problems were derived based on the review and analysis of the status. Finally, a method suggesting improvement measures to solve problems was applied. Based on the related laws and problems, the status of the development project was analyzed to select the installation scale in the utility tunnel, and the appropriate scale was reviewed through economic feasibility analysis of the installation scale under 2 million square meters. Considering the new city and the existing city, it was proposed to support administrative expenses to reduce the burden on additional installation areas and occupied institutions in a utility tunnel. In addition, improvement plans were presented for the details of the master plan for reviewing the installation regional of the utility tunnel. This paper will help officials to work smoothly when planning and installing utility tunnels in the future.

  • 기업 등 조직의 경계를 초월한 분산 환경에서의 정보교환은 인터넷이 확산되면서 더욱 증가하고 있다. 특히 전자결재나 기업 간 상거래, 공동작업을 위한 정보나 메시지 교환이 폭발적으로 증가하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 본 논문은 다양한 정보들이 분산된 노드와 사용자간 의미 있는 메시지로 교환될 수 있도록 지원하는 메시지 엔진을 설계하는 연구이다. 특히 자바 메시징 서비스의 모델을 기본으로 하여 메시징 요구사항을 충족함과 아울러 다양한 인터페이스의 제공에 초점을 두기보다는 핵심적인 메시징 서비스 모델에 치중하여 다양한 응용에 통합되어 활용될 수 있도록 설계하였다.

  • 대역해석학은 수학의 한 분야로 자연현상과 사회현상을 거시적인 현상으로 보고 문제를 푸는 이론이다. 서울대에 설립된 대역해석학연구센터는 1백50여명의 연구원을 두고 있으며 산학협동도 활발해 현대미디어시스템과 제휴하여 글자폰트제작시스템을 개발헸고 문체부와 공동으로 훈민정음 해례본서체를 수학적 기법을 이용해 복원하는데 성공하기도 했다.

특집2 - 산학협력 업그레이드를 위한 글로벌 산학협력의 필요성 및 성공사례

  • 최근 들어 미국, 유럽, 인도 등과의 FTA체결 등을 통해서 대한민국의 경제시장이 날로 증가해가고 있으며, 이제 해외와의 협력은 우리에게 선택이 아닌 필수가 되어가고 있다. 얼마 전 한 신문에 국내기업과 일본기업의 경쟁력을 비교하는 흥미로운 기사가 소개되었다. 이 신문에서는 국내기업들이 한정된 내수시장을 극복하기 위해 해외로 적극적으로 진출하였기 때문에 우수한 경쟁력을 확보하였으며, 반면 일본기업의 경우 안정된 내수시장이 오히려 해외로 진출할 기회를 가로막아 스스로와 경쟁력을 감퇴시켰다고 분석하였다. 이러한 사례는 우리 대학들에 시사하는 바가 크다. 우리 대학들의 주요한 연구성과라 할 수 있는 논문의 경우 이공계를 보면 대다수의 논문이 이미 해외의 각종 유명 학술지에 게재되고 있다. 특히 우수한 연구성과의 산물이라 할 수 있는 SCI논문의 경우 2008년기준으로 경제규모에 걸맞은 세계 12위에 랭크되어 있다. 또한 특허의 경우 이미 세계 4위의 출원대국이다. 이러한 성과로 인하여 국제공개어에 한글이 채택되는 성과까지 거두고 있는 상황이다. 또한 MB정부가 들어서면서 매년 R&D연구비를 10%이상 증가시킬 계획에 있으며, 이러한 노력을 통해 연구성과물의 수준도 향상되어 SCIENCE, CELL, NATURE등의 저명학술지 게재가 늘고 있는 등 연구성과가 세계적인 수준으로 접근해가고 있다. 반면에 이러한 성과에도 불구하고 아직 대다수 대학들의 글로벌 산학협력은 미비한 수준이다. 교육분야에 대한 글로벌화는 최근 들어 많은 변화가 이루어지고 있지만, 산학협력부분에 대한 글로벌화는 활성화 되지 못한 것이 현실이다. 그러나 앞으로 해외와의 산학협력은 대학과 연구자에게 선택이 아닌 필수가 될 전망이다. 정부에서는 현재 국제협력 분야의 R&D연구비를 급증시키고 있으며, 우리나라의 기업이 해외로 활발하게 진출하는 상황에서 이제 연구수준도 국내가 아닌 해외에서도 인정받을 수 있는 수준을 요구 받고 있다. 이와 같이 급변하는 상황에서 이제 해외와의 산학협력은 대학과 연구자들에게 새로운 도전이며, 경쟁력을 업그레이드 할 수 있는 기회로 다가오고 있다. 이에 최근 한양대학교의 해외와 기술이전, 사업화, 공동연구, R&D센터유치와 관련된 산학협력 사례 소개를 통해 우리나라 대학의 산학협력을 업그레이드하는 방향을 모색해 보고자 한다.

Evaluation of university funding research program via social network analysis (사회 네트워크 분석을 이용한 대학 자체학술지원 프로그램 성과 평가)

  • This research develops an evaluation framework of social network analysis, overlooked in traditional program evaluation, and applies to university funding research program. By setting degree increase, an indicator of level of research collaboration, as a goal from the viewpoint of network, we can conclude that researchers funded by university in a form of competition show statistically significant changes in degree increase via one-way ANOVA and permutation-based simulation. This research provides a tool for measuring and managing the degree of contribution of university funding to promoting research collaboration.

A Study on the Efforts of Technological Innovation by Academia-Industrial Collaboration for Venture Businesses (산학협력이 중소벤처기업의 기술혁신성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This paper aims to study the effect of academia-industrial cooperation on the technical innovation of small and medium-sized companies. A survey was conducted on about 1,100 businesses located in the Sihwa-Banwol industrial estate to analyze the consequence of three factors of academia-industrial cooperation. the joint use of equipments, technological support of universities to businesses, and cooperative technological development through technical guidance-on entrepreneurial capability and their knowledge-absorption ability, and ultimately on their technological innovation,. The validity of the survey result was tested through the Structural Equation Model. On the basis of the comparison between companies which have participated in academy-industry cooperation and companies which have not, this paper suggests that venture businesses should take advantage of the cooperation with universities to boost their competitiveness. The analysis of the three individual factors of the academy-industry cooperation based on the Structural Equation Model shows that all of them have remarkable influence on entrepreneurial capability, but that they don't have as much impact on businesses' knowledge absorption ability. However, the outcome of technological innovation of businesses is primarily influenced by entrepreneurial capability rather than their knowledge absorption ability. The survey also shows that the three factors of the cooperation have an equal impact on the competitiveness of companies regardless of their business type or their products' growth stages. As the companies involved in academy industry cooperation outweigh other businesses, in terms of technological innovation, the numbers of new product development, and the numbers of their process improvement cases, this paper argues that new strategies should be taken for the businesses to fully take advantage of academy-industry cooperation.
