본 연구는 지방의 공동브랜드가 난립하고 있는 실정에서 보령머드의 차별성을 살리고, 원래 가지고 있던 고유성을 부각시켜서 시각적으로 이미지를 정립한 과정을 살펴보고자 한다. 공동브랜드의 가치를 높일 수 있도록 제품 이미지에 부합하고 소비자의 요구에 대응할 수 있는 디자인 방안이 제시되어야 한다. 그러나 현 시점에서 많은 공동브랜드가 유사성과 몰개성적인 난립으로 지역생산자에게 만족스러운 결과를 주지 못하는 부분이 크다. 보령머드는 이러한 점을 인식하고 보령머드의 현재 가치를 유지하면서 미래가치를 높일 수 있는 아이덴티티인 머드반지 개발과 적용을 브랜드 관리 차원에서 순차적으로 진행하고 있다. 세계인을 향한 보령머드의 약속을 상징하는 머드반지는 이미지 전달자인 보령과 이미지 수용자인 소비자 사이에 이러한 시각요소를 전달하고 있다.

The purpose of this research investigates the determinant factors of the joint technology development project performance between SMEs and universities. Reviewing existing papers we could categorize independent variables into three groups of partner characteristics, process management variables and relationship characteristics between partners. Three measures of satisfaction with the cooperation result, the intention of continuing relationship and the utilization of developed technology and product were used as dependent variable considering that we studied the joint projects of SMEs' involvement, short period and small scale. The data was collected by questionnaire survey mailed to the 1082 SMEs and university professors which executed the joint projects sponsored by Small Business Administration in 2009. We received 200 responses from SMEs, and 305 cases from professors among which 55 responses of each partner were on the same project. We analyzed the data sets individually, data of SMEs and that of universities with multiple regression analysis technique and also analyzed the common responses of 55 projects. Analysis results of the data from SMEs indicated that partners' expertise, facilities and equipment, communications, strategic importance, and trust were significant variables for the project performance. Analysis results of the data from universities showed that previous links, definition of objectives, strategic importance, trust and commitment were significant variables. Analysis results of combined data of 55 projects from SMEs and universities indicated that facilities and equipment, project management proficiency and commitment were significant variables.

While the role of universities in the modern society has long been a key agenda of discussion, Korean universities have recently tried to get good results in league tables, mostly published by major media. Although the criteria of evaluation are developed through benchmarking and thoughtful discussion, they are still in the process of development and fragile to the question whether they really suggest the future direction of universities. The study seeks to find whether the number of UIC(university industry co-authored articles), as suggested by a few scholars, is meaningful and feasible as an alternative or complement to current performance indices of universities. The adoption of UIC implicitly means that a key role of university should be developing and diffusing knowledge to the society by working with industry participants. We found limited evidence that the index of UIC has meaningful discrepancy with current indices for research, which opens up a new discussion.

Conventional engineering education models have fallen to give satisfactory results to enterprises. So this paper deals with the new engineering education system, Engineering House, to overcome it. EH is made of three spaces and three concepts. Concept means system. Three concepts are things about a education program, a research cooperation, a open-door policy of EH facilities. First of all, Education system for undergraduates is most important of all. We intend to give them chances for real engineering experiences. Specialist from companies are participated in the education. The second is a research network. EH is managed by two or three professors together and their researches are carry out with companies's researcher. Key-point is doing all together. The third is service system for regional enterprises. EH's facilities are opened. Our students and professors are supporting directly. Mainly high price measuring machine is used. Like these, networks with companies are very helpable for undergraduate's educations and job connections. These are the work based learning system. Engineering House system look forward to getting to good program for undergraduate, based on the co-operation between university and enterprises.

한국전력공사에서는 국내의 타 기관과 전략적 제휴를 통한 연구자원 공동 출자방식의 협동연구개발 체제를 구축하고 지난 ''98년 2월부터 본격적으로 시행하고 있다. 이 협동연구개발은 기존의 공동연구개발과는 차이가 있는데 공동연구개발의 경우, 연구예산은 공사에서 전약 부담하고 연구내용의 일정부분을 외부기관에 의뢰하는 기술의 단 방향 아웃소싱 개념이라면 협동연구개발은 공사와 협동연구기관이 공동출자 및 기술협력을 통해 공동의 목표를 실현하는 양방향 아웃소싱이라고 할 수 있다. 경쟁력이 있는 분야만을 선택하여 집중투자하고 그 외의 것은 외부로부터 지원을 받아 목적을 달성함으로써 조직과 시설을 슬림화하고 핵심역량을 더욱 강화하는 것이 국내외의 신경영 추세인데, 이러한 협동연구개발의 확대시행은 취약한 국내의 연구개발 여건을 감안할 때 많은 효과가 기대된다. 즉 국내의 전력기술 관련 산학연이 자체 핵심역량을 명확히 하여 자원을 집중하게 됨으로써 기관별 핵심분야의 국제경쟁력을 단시간에 키울 수 있게 될 것이고 이미 외부에서 이루어진 비핵심분야의 기술혁신 성과 및 전문적인 능력을 효과적으로 이용할 수 있게 될 것이다.

Industry Cooperation is not the choice of national development but the inevitable component in the world. Industry cooperation results of the reconstruction of the country is an important place as an essential element of the economic development of the national policy in the major economies. Despite several changes in the international economic environment, United States, Canada, Finland, Sweden, Israel settled and maintaining the sustainable development of the countries which successfully established Industry-University Cooperation or Industry-Acaemy Cooperation system in history. In this study, delivered to the realistic ways of Industry cooperation through comparison study on domestic and international cooperation programs. The new activation programs of industry academic cooperation are delivered, that is, The bonus payments system of technology development patent and free technology transfer for joint development, bonus points system and evaluation indicators for joint capacity building program which participate student, industry and academic sector, step-by-step training. system for total employment and entrepreneurship at the same time strengthening management training programs and education opportunity gives to the benefits for the community members. Finally, Intellectual property expert matching program which develops basis of technology trader and expert maps in the smallest unit by administrative area. practice the internet information search services in national wide network for this matching program and government office dedicated to staffing for technology transfer.

This study examined the effects of the online community, such as chatting, book-cafe on the neighborhood relationship. Through a case study of 'The Sharp' apartment area, the characters of neighborhood relationship between user and non-user were compared. The factors affecting the community relationships were analyzed by regression analysis. According to the results, the residents using the online community shared their emotions, thoughts and information with their neighbors so that the level of neighborhood relationship was higher. To reprove the neighborhood relationship being cut off the online community should be handled as an important factor in the planning of apartments. This study as a basic research is expected to contribute to policing against crimes and accidents in apartments.

This study examines the performance of and searches for improvements to the existing automatic fire detection systems installed at domestic apartment buildings as a basic study for development of intelligent fire detection systems specifically for apartments. Thus, this study aims to find out the problems in performance and maintenance of the existing fire detectors installed at apartment buildings which is the prerequisite process for development of intelligent fire detection system for that specific application. It is also found impossible to check whether or not the detectors installed at each apartment are in an operational state at normal times. This study finds that it is desirable to replace the slow-sensing heat detectors by a smoke and single smoke detectors which can detect a fire at its early stage in an effort to improve the problems of fire detectors installed at apartment buildings presently. Because we need to the independence fire detection system of apartment building.

현재의 도시 계획은 자동차의 증가, 도심녹지의 부족, 기존 도심의 공동화 현상 등 많은 문제를 낳고 있다. 우리가 선정한 대상지의 경우 쌍용동, 두정동 일대의 대규모 서부축 택지 개발과 시청의 이전으로 인해 기존 행정, 상업의 중심지였던 천안역 일대의 공동화 현상이 발생하였다. 그렇기 때문에 이런 배경을 조건으로 천안시 구도심의 공동화 원인과 실태를 파악하고 구도심의 상권 활성화에 초점을 두고 실질적인 구도심 활성화 방안에 대해 연구한다.
