A Study on the Training Strategy of Human Resources for the u-City Construction (유비쿼터스 도시 건설을 위한 인력양성방안 현황 및 정책방향 연구)

  • This study is for the effective training strategy of human resources for the u-City construction to support the u-City human resource development plan of the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs (MLTM). One of the biggest problems concerning u-City is the shortage of advanced human resources for the u-City constructions. The characteristic of u-City makes u-City related human resources had knowledge of various fields including IT, GIS, construction engineering, urban planning and so on. But, there are only a few programs to train u-City related human resources. Therefore, this research established the objective of the training strategy for u-City human resource development as "the training strategy of human resources for the successful u-City constructions". To achieve this objective, four different core strategies are established like followings: (1) demander-oriented education, (2) regional balanced education, (3) integration education of u-City related subjects, (4) u-City related education infrastructure development. These 4 different core strategies can be achieved from 5 sub projects like followings: (1) demand estimation of u-City human resources, (2) u-City education from selected regional core universities, (3) u-City education from u-City human resource education centers, (4) online education and (5) construction of education infrastructures. These 5 interrelated sub projects can be preconditions of the successful human resource strategy development.

  • 본 연구는 광양항 물류산업 인프라 우선순위 분석을 위하여 Fuzzy AHP 기법을 적용하였다. 본 연구에서는 의사결정을 위한 측정요소로 수익성, 용이성, 시급성, 장래성이 선정되었고, 대안으로는 글로벌 네트워킹 구축, 물류전문인력 양성, 친환경저비용항만 운영, 전문물류기업 육성이 선정되었다. 대안의 우선순위는 글로벌네트워킹 구축, 친환경저비용항만 운영, 전문물류기업 육성, 물류전문인력 양성 순서로 나타났다.

  • In this paper, we propose the future strategy of convergence IT workforce program through the question analysis of convergence IT promising area. We analyzed the future strategy of convergence IT workforce program from different angles in the aspects of convergence IT promising area, workforce model operation, and infrastructure & system support. Based on this analysis, we suggest the key strategy of each area. As a result, we concluded that the outcome of the proposed strategy is visible when the upper three aspects are efficiently coordinated and the strategy is effectively proceeded. Also, we concluded that selection of promising areas through overall analysis, the necessity of efficient correlation plan establishment among state-industry-university, and the necessity of state-run systematic support and state policy establishment are very important.

  • The recent plant order of oversea in domestic engineering and Construction Companies have been growing since 2003. In 2006, the total order came out 2.54 billion dollar. And in a quarter of 2007, the Ministry of Commerce announced that total order already came out 900 million dollar. They expect that the plant industry in the global market will be grown more in near future. However, even though there is growing plant businesses in oversea specially focused on the Middle East area, the domestic large engineering and Construction Company now face up the shortage of specialty manpower. Moreover, the domestic small and medium enterprises have same problems as large companies have. The plant construction industry is expanding rapidly, but the supply of specialty manpower can not follow its growing business. Also, most new supplied manpower is the person who graduated recently and received the degree in the different civil engineering track other than the plant major track, they are required to be re-educated. So, it is unable to deploy in short time. Also, there is shortage of manpower in the Construction Management financing division. Consequently, this project will study the efficient method of training for specialty manpower, provide the solutions.
