Korea's water supply efficiency is low, due to weak industrial structure, such as small scale, regional disparities in the management and services, unreasonable problem in a use and management of interregional water resources. This study investigated changes in the productivity of Jeollabuk-do local water supply service by using analysis of efficiency by data envelopment analysis and Malmquist Index Analysis. As a result, 6 office is showed that the value of scale efficiency is 1 and productivity index per gun in mainly seemed below average. Therefore these offices should strive to increase their productivity. This study is differentiated from earlier studies in the aspect of measuring change of productivity by not only DEA but also Malmquist productivity analysis. Therefore it will contribute to increase productivity of water supply in Jeollabuk-do.

An investigation was carried out to obtain basic information needed to develop methods for artificial propagation and conservation of the mottled skate Raja pulchra, an important food resource in western Korea that has declined from overfishing. In this paper we provide evidence of multiple spawning and describe properties of the ovary, and morphology of the egg capsule and the fully-formed offspring. The vitellogenic follicles in the ovary was $179.8{\pm}57.1$ (54~247) and can be classified into five size groups, which the last group of ova are considered as the moving to the capsule gland where fertilization and encapsulation of ova take place. The morphology of the egg capsule of R. pulchra is unique among the species of the family Rajidae and showed multi-embryo characteristics, having two to six yolks in each capsule. The adaptive morphological changes of larvae developing inside the egg capsule are described based on specimens extracted from the capsule.

There would be a long-waited launch of a Korean space launch vehicle(KSLV-I) in NARO Space Center which is located in Goheung, Jeol La Nam Do in Korea. Korea would be the nineth country in the world which could launch space launch vehicle itself. The launch of the 2nd technology satellite of 100kg with KSLV-I would give Korean hope and dream. In addition to the traditional space activities of U.S.A. and Russia, Japan launched the lunar satellite, Kaguya in 2007, China launched the lunar satellite, Change and succeeded in space walk and India launched the lunar satellite Chandrayaan in October, 2008. In this paper we study on the trend of domestic and international development of space launch vehicle considering all these space development activities.

The Social Overhead Capital contains roads, railroad system, airports, seaport, waterworks, electric power plants, and etc. This SOC is very important, not only as a national economic competitiveness factor, but also as a national security factor. For example, 'Freedom Express Way' works as a tool of psychological warfare to the North Korea, as well as an economics infrastructure. In spite of that, until now on, we have disregarded the SOC as a national security factor. Constructing the SOC, only considering economic cost, we have not fulfilled other purpose requirement like stable national security, balanced development. When we invest the money to construct the SOC, considering multi-purpose requirement like military purpose, economic purpose, social purpose and cultural purpose, as a whole national wide point of view, the scares national resources and government budgets will be saved.

The purpose of this study is to investigate if there is any regional distribution difference in the frequency of geographical location's name mentioned on the SAT Korean geography test. The reviewed items were used for geography subject test in Korean SAT exam in between 2005 and 2015. Researchers analyzed how often a location had been mentioned in the form of maps, captions, and graphs in the national college entrance exam for 11 years. The result indicated that 42% out of the 220 items were using map and about 33% of them represented a specific region. Especially, items related with climate, industries, and local area section contained a specific area information more frequently than others. Moreover, there were 76 cities mentioned in geography subject test on Korean SAT exam during 11 years and 25 places among them were referred to more than three times. The most frequently appeared city was Seoul followed by Incheon, Daegu, Busan, Gangneung, and Jeju and this result shows that there were some regional bias in geography test on the SAT Korean exam.

The purpose of this study was to explore the direction in applying platform business model to the site to facilitate the growth of a private security guard service according to the development phase of economy, The directions of platform business application to be suggested through the study method are as follows. First, ensuring publicness. It should be able to integrate the government's and private sector's ability to collect and impart information. Second, securing self-regulation. Self-regulation should be guaranteed in the limit not to abuse or misuse others' information in re-producing and using information on private safe management and public order. Third, ensuring access. Past safety management has been controlled by public order power such as nation, military and police power, but access should be made to be convenient between suppliers and demanders. Fourth, securing profitability. In conclusion, those supplying and consuming private security guard service should be able to get their wanted value and share economic profits.

Benchmarking is an effective tool supporting improvement of corporate competitiveness and development of management strategy, however, its effectiveness may be compromised if its target and approach are not appropriate. Notably, the construction industry of Korea is unique in that it has a number of competitors sharing the same category and is significantly exposed to changes in external environment in terms of legal, regulatory and policy frameworks. Such characteristics make target corporate category rather than single company more suitable as benchmarking target and necessitate analysis of external environment. This paper demonstrates the in-vehicle dilemma zone warning system (DZWS) project developed as a part of the Driver Advisory and Collision Warning System in Automated Vehicle and Highway System (AVHS). The DZWS project, one of the Korea national ITS projects in 2000 develops the in-vehicle warning device to support drivers' decision making on whether to stop or to proceed to clear the intersection prior to the onset of yellow signal for avoiding the high risk of collision at signalized intersections through the dedicated short range communication (DSRC). This paper explores the design of optimal communication systems between roadway and vehicles, the operational and functional concepts of dilemma zone warning system based on appropriate approach speeds, and the system integration for field test at two sites of signalized intersections. Findings from the system integration indicated that the system would be implemented in eliminating the dilemma zone relative to approach speeds and in reducing red light violations and intersection collisions through the in-vehicle warning device at signalized intersection.

There have been many discussions on export indices in trade exports, but there is no definite trade export index which can be explained by objective indicators. Korea International Trade Association (KITA), Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), etc., but we are currently in the process of thinking about ways to express the capabilities of exporting companies. In this study, we constructed the AI data sets by setting the activity indicators such as the size of the company and the credit score, the number of transaction customers, the number of transactions, the number of items, the transaction volume, and the transaction period as features, Lightgbm. Using the Graph Neural Network as an industrial cluster classification model, the export live index which expresses the exportable capacity among companies, items, and business groups was calculated. This includes the past activity of the company from the current calculating index Objectivity.

The following experiments were carried out at rock method oyster field at Uduri, Dolsan-myon, Yeocheon-gun, Jeon-nam, Korea, in 1966. In this experiment, the settling rate of oyster at each exposure level and their growth rate were checked. 1. The settling rate of oyster spats was highest at 4 hour exposure level in the day-time during spring tide, and the growth rate became greater the lower stratum until 3 hours and 30 minutes exposure level. 2. Rocks applied at the place higher than 5 to 6 hour exposure level which amount 26 percents of applied rocks, were not utilized properly because the settling rate of spats and their growth rate were very bad. 3. For the future application of rocks for oyster culture, effort should be paid to instruct the oyster farmers to apply all rocks at proper exposure Ie el with bottom leveling and the rocks should be spaced properly for better barvest.
