College Students' Perspectives on Femvertising through Focus Group Interview (한국 대학생들의 펨버타이징(femvertising) 관점에 대한 포커스 그룹 인터뷰 연구)

  • Femvertising campaigns are more easily observed in oversea rather than in Korea. Most recently, not only global companies but local consumer goods companies launched several femvertising campaigns. However, no research was done on effects of femvertising in Korea. Thus, this study will explore Korean college students' understanding of, attitude toward, and effects of femvertising through focus group interviews. Study results found that college students have low level of understanding on the concept of femvertising. However, they are somewhat familiar with contents of femvertising. Femvertising is believed to have positive impacts on gender equality and female empowerment whereas there are growing concerns over commercializing feminism. Study participants, regardless of gender, suggest that femvertising could influence consumers' attitude toward advertising and brand, but they are skeptical of purchase intention. Lastly, female participants suggest that femvertising, compared to traditional advertising, will enhance attitude toward ads and brand, and even have a positive impact on feminism. However, male participants suggest that femvertising may exacerbate the gender conflict between males and females which is called as 'misandry' or 'misogyny'.

  • 전력산업에서의 전력품질을 가늠하는 요소 중의 하나로 최근에는 사회적 요구의 품질을 고려해야 할 필요성이 높아지고 있다. 따라서 사회적 요구품질로써는, 설비의 안전성과 시공상의 안전 및 주위 환경과의 조화를 고려한 환경적합성을 고려할 수 있는데 특히, 현장에서 발생하는 휴먼에러의 큰절을 위한 노력은 끊임없이 강주되어야 할 과제이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 배전현장에서의 휴먼에러를 줄여 나갈 수 있는 한 방법으로 기능훈련지침서와 작업포인트지침서의 작성을 중심으로 고찰하였다. 지침서의 작성과 활용으로 안전성을 확보할 수 있는 구체적인 방법을 제시하고자 한다.

Study on the Innovation Acceptance Characteristics for Digital Convergence Products (혁신수용특성에 대한 디지털 컨버전스 제품 수용의도에 대한 연구)

  • This research looks at the innovative product characteristics, environmental properties, and personal attitudes as antecedents of consumer's perceived usefulness and easiness of product usage. And the attitudes toward digital convergence products and its acceptability as consequences. The results indicate that relative advantage, expectation for better product, the social influence, mass communications, and attitudes toward the new technology, significantly influence the perceived usefulness. The current research revealed that perceived usefulness is more influential over perceived easiness on the formation of positive attitude toward the product. The users of digital convergence products put more weight on the availability of the product functions rather than easiness of use.

  • This study discusses the operating systems upgrade to motivation of windows users. To discuss this issues, research hypotheses were set based on Unified Theory of Acceptance Use of Technology(UTAUT) and Theory of Reasoned Action(TRA). The data were collected from undergraduate students. Total of 199 data were used for the analysis. The results of the analysis were summarized into two ways. first, performance expectancy and effort expectancy has a positive influence on attitude towards upgrade the operating systems. Second, social influence, facilitating conditions, and attitude had a positive influence on intention towards upgrade the operating systems. Thus, when users perceived a high degree of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions towards upgrade the operating systems, they evaluated more positively the upgrade the operating systems.

Effects of Modality and Smart Device on Learner's Interaction Experience in Online Learning (스마트 기기를 활용한 온라인 토론학습에서 모달리티가 학습자의 상호작용경험에 미치는 영향)

  • Along with the rapid diffusion of smart devices, smart learning has been taking place as a main pedagogy in education. Under these drastic changing circumstances, social presence and interaction between learners have been highlighted as key factors in educational research. In this light of rising importance, this study examined the effects of modality and smart device on users' perceived social presence and interaction experience in a smart learning environment. It conducted 2(text based interface vs. audio/video based interface) by 2(smartphone vs. tablet PC) between-subjects experiment. 80 participants were systematically recruited and randomly assigned to four conditions. The findings showed that social presence was higher in audio/video based interface condition than in text based interface condition. Modality also had a positive effect on learner's interaction experience. On the other hand, the effect of smart device is found to be statistically insignificant. Instead, interaction effect existed between modality and device on social presence. The result of this study suggests that the modality and characteristics of device should be considered seriously when designing interface of smart learning contents. The findings in this study provide future studies with heuristic implications by highlighting users' perceived cognition and experience.

Effects of Source's Social Distance on Consumer's Responses to Corporate Facebook Page: Focusing on Moderating effects of blatant persuasive intention, normative interpersonal influence and informative interpersonal influence (정보원의 사회적 거리감에 따른 기업 페이스북 페이지에서의 광고 효과: 메시지의 노골적 설득 의도, 규범적 대인민감성, 정보적 대인민감성의 조절 효과를 중심으로)

  • This study is designed to examine the effects of information source's social distance on message attitude and online word-of-mouth intention (e-WOM). It also examined the moderation effects of blatant persuasive intention of message, the normative interpersonal influences, and the informative interpersonal influences on the relationship between social distance and advertising effectiveness. This study employed an experiment: 2(far/near social distance far/near) ${\times}2$(high/low blatant persuasive intention of message) ${\times}$(high/low normative interpersonal influences) ${\times}2$(high/low informative interpersonal influences). The results of this study are as follows. First, closer social distance led to more positive message attitude and higher online word-of-mouth intention. Second, when blatant persuasive intention of message is low, the effects of social distance on message attitude and WOM intention were more noticeable while those effects were less significant for high blatant persuasive intention of message. Third, there were no interaction effects of social distance and normative interpersonal influences on advertising effectiveness. Fourth, the effects of social distance on message attitude and WOM intention were more significant for high informative interpersonal influences than for low informative interpersonal influences. Implications of study findings are provided for strategic use of corporate Facebook page to generate positive consumer responses.

  • 지구과학 분야에서 가장 어렵게 느껴지는 내용인 천문분야는 다른 과학 분야와 달리 탐구 대상이 천체들이 먼거리에 있고, 쉽게 관측하기 어려우며, 실험실에서 동일실험과 반복 실험이 불가능하여, 추상적이고 직접 관측하기 어려운 개념에 관한 연구들이 많다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 레이저 커팅기를 사용해 지구과학교과 중 별자리를 구성하는 별들의 상대적 거리를 수학적으로 계산하는 과정과 고등학교 물리교과 중 LED 광원의 원리를 알고 LED 모듈을 제작하여 최종적으로 아름답고 과학적으로 가치가 있는 입체 별자리 교구를 제작하는 형태의 STEAM 교육 프로그램을 개발하고 시범학교 적용을 하였다. 이에 지능정보화 사회에 발맞춰 천문학 지식을 창의 교육의 형태로 교육하는 새로운 교육법을 실현한 연구결과들을 발표하고자 한다. 또한 개발한 프로그램의 효과성을 검증하기 위해 STEAM 관련 태도 검사와 논리적 사고력 검사 및 만족도 검사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 개발된 프로그램이 STEAM 태도 검사와 논리적 사고력에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 천문수업에 대한 학생들의 인식은 긍정적이었다. 따라서 후속 연구에서는 다양한 학년 및 위계에 맞는 프로그램의 개발과 다양한 지역 등의 현장 적용을 통한 연구가 진행되어야 할 것으로 판단된다.

The Effects of Video Games on Aggression, Sociality, and Affect: A Meta-analytic Study (게임이 사용자의 공격성·사회성·정서에 미치는 영향: 메타분석 연구)

  • In this study, we examined the effects of video game play on a variety of areas of mental well-being, such as aggressive behavior, aggressive cognition, prosocial behavior, prosocial attitude, antisocial behavior, antisocial attitude, positive affect, and negative affect. We conducted a multivariate meta-analysis on 22 studies (k= 54, N = 8,031) published between January 2008 and October 2019. The results of the meta-analysis indicate that exposure to violent video games significantly increased aggressive cognition and negative affect only in true experimental studies, but their influences were small. Furthermore, the exposure to violent video games did not increase aggressive behavior and negative affect across all the research designs (true experimental, quasi-experimental, and correlational). Moderator analyses revealed that the effects of exposure to violent video games were much larger for younger adults than for children and greater in male-biased studies than in gender-balanced ones. Additionally, studies using better methodologies were less likely to produce negative effects. These findings suggest that the effects of exposure to violent video games on aggression were not as severe as popular opinion holds, and the effects were heavily modulated by the age and gender ratio of the participants, and methodological quality of the studies.

  • 거제(巨濟) 지역사회(地域社會) 개발(開發) 보건원(保健院)이 목적하는 바대로 사업이 진전되고 있는지, 바람직한 지역사회의학 사업을 수행하고 있는지를 평가하는 일은 필요하다고 생각한다. 이러한 평가의 하나로서 프로젝트에 영향력을 줄 수 있는 세 그룹 즉 지역사회의 유지, 프로젝트를 이용하는 주민 그리고 의료문제에 관심이 있는 사람들 중 프로젝트에 다녀간 일이 있는 사람에 대해서 그들이 이 사업에 대해 이해하고 있는 바 또는 태도 등을 알아 보았다. 거제 지역사회 개발 보건원에 대한 반응은 긍정적이었다. 즉 저렴한 수가로 농촌 보건사업을 하고 있고, 간단한 치료사업과 예방의학 사업을 하고 있으며, 한국에서 지역사회의학의 교육을 발전시키는 데 자극적인 역할을 하고 아울러 지역사회의 개발을 위한 자극을 주었다고 하였다. 문제점으로 지적된 것은 위치가 거제군 전체의 의료를 위해서는 적합하지 못하며, 국내 의료인이나 지역주민의 참여가 불충분하였고, 보건소 사업과의 협조가 덜 이루어지고 있다는 점 등이었다. 한편 사업의 목적이나 계획 및 운영면이 약하지 않은가 하는 것도 우려하였다.

  • 대두식품은 단백질과 생리활성 물질의 함량이 높아 주목을 받아 왔으며, 최근 대두에 함유된 이소플라본의 다양한 기능성이 밝혀지면서 대두 및 이소플라본 섭취에 대한 관심이 세계적으로 높아지고 있다. 최근 우리나라에서 중년여성 및 일부 지역의 성인을 대상으로 이소플라본 섭취 수준을 평가한 연구들이 있으나 청소년을 대상으로 대두식품 및 이소플라본의 섭취수준을 조사한 연구는 아직까지 이루어진 바 없다.(중략)
