  • As the disclosure of privacy information has grown steadily, concerns about mobile services based on the personal information also increased. We aspired to reveal factors influencing the use of Location-Based services(LBS) App and analyse how the perceived risk affected between these factors and the use of LBS App. Results showed that usefulness and social influence influenced on the use of LBS App. We also found that the group who highly recognized the perceived risk was highly affected by usefulness and the group who lowly recognized the perceived risk was highly affected by social influence. Findings show that the company's strategy should be different depending on the level of consumers' perceived risk.

  • The study reviews theoretical and empirical research literature in information needs, seeking and uses in order to search for the most pertinent metatheories for studying information practices of the disadvantaged. The study examines the salient features and main theories/models of each cognitive, affective and social approach in the user-centered paradigm through analyzing prior information practices studies. While analyzing the main features of each cognitive, affective and social approach, the study points out the limitation of research using the cognitive and affective approaches to fail to theorize the relationship between individuals and complex and dynamic socio-cultural contexts in information practices. As an alternative, the study suggests using the social approach as a pertinent metatheory for understanding information practices of the disadvantaged who are entangled with myriad social contexts and issues. In order to verify the pertinence, the study examines the advantages of the social approach through analyzing both the main models related to everyday information practices under social constructionism and the main findings from information practices of the disadvantaged.

External factors were divided into social factors, systemic factors, and social factors. Among them, system factors were social norms and images, and systemic factors were simplicity and accessibility. And the social factors consisted of security and compatibility. And the emotional response was set as pleasure and emotional trust, the cognitive response was cognitive trust, and the final dependent variable was set as continuous use intention. • The purpose of this study were to factor analyze the 25-item Personal Resource Question-naire (PRQ)-Part II, a social support measure, and to establish construct validity for the instrument among adolescents by relationship found between perceived social support and the theoretically relevant variables of attachment, parent-child relationships, and coping, The sample was consisted of 451 college students, aged 18 to 24. According to the criteria used in this study a four-factor structure, which consisted of 15-items, resulting from a principal components analysis with an oblique rotation, best represented the multidimensionality of the PRQ-Part II of late adolescents in Korea. Evidence in support of construct validity for both the 15-item and 25-item PRQPart II was provided by statistically significant correlations found between the two scales and the theoretically relevant variable of attachment, parent-child relationships, and coping. With the findings of this study, the 15-item Korean version of the PRQ-Part II can be used in research and practice as a reliable and valid instrument measuring perceived social support for late adolescents in Korea.
