In the present age, when the development of science and technology is leading the changes, this study supports the view that students should possess the literacy to participate democratically and critically in socio-scientific issues, and should be positioned as agentic and participatory citizens. Accordingly, we implemented a club activity that emphasize climate social action for elementary students, and explored how students were positioned in relation to climate change. In this study, position is defined as a complex cluster of rights and duties that students have in relation to climate change. The club activity was implemented throughout 46 sessions from March to July, 2019 for 11 sixth graders of 'H elementary School' in Seoul, and transcripts of video and interviews were analyzed by means of a constant comparison method. In the course of the activity consisting of three steps, the students exhibited different positioning and they are as follows: In the global warming modeling activity for Step 1, students were positioned as 'active learners', but at the same time, they showed a contradiction in being positioned as 'apprentice'. In the student-led research activities inherent to Step 2, they were positioned as 'scientists who design and conduct research' and 'bystanders' due to the controversial nature of SSI knowledge. As students participate in the social actions involved in Step 3, the position changed from 'elementary school students facing difficulty in making a change' to 'participatory citizens creating changes.' This study is significant because it shows students' potential to promote participatory and democratic citizenship through action-oriented SSI activities. In addition, pedagogical approaches were discussed dealing with the contradictions and limitations of positioning.

최근 여성이나 아동, 장애인 등의 사회적 약자를 대상으로 하는 흉악 범죄의 빈도수가 늘어나면서, 사회적 불안감이 점점 높아지고 있다. 이러한 사회적 불안감을 줄이고, 안전보장에 대한 요구를 충족하고자 기업체와 관련 정부기관에서는 국민의 안전보장 대책들을 내놓고 있다. 스마트기기에서의 GPS 등을 활용한 위치정보의 정확성이 날로 높아지고, 이에 기반을 둔 위치기반서비스의 발전에 힘입어, 이에 대한 대책 중 하나로 개인위치정보에 기반을 둔 개인 안전 서비스와 시스템을 다양하게 제시하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재 시중에서 이용되고 있는 각 개인 안전 서비스 및 어플리케이션을 분석하였다.

본 연구는 조선후기부터 현재까지의 아동복의 변화를 살펴보는데 있어서 시대에 따른 사회적 배경과 함께 아동의 사회적 위치를 그 당시 교육과 양육을 통하여 살펴보고, 각 시대에 따라 변화하는 아동관을 당시의 아동복과 관련지어 특성과 의미를 분석 한 것이다. 연구자가 아동관을 아동복의 변화와 관련짓게 된 이유는, 시대적 변화 속에서 아동의 사회적 위치와 아동에 대한 관심의 정도가 변하였고, 이는 곧 아동복의 변천과정과 깊은 관련이 있다고 보았기 때문이다.

This study is concerned with analysing complexity, flexibility and dynamism of social discoursive space. The developmental process of social discourse is analogous to that of a spatial structure of social discourse. Post-capitalist society has seen New-Liberalism and New-Conservatism have become dominant, resulting in the deterioration of the cultural politics of citizenship. It is argued that the position of otherness, in which those binary structures (inside/outside or centre/margin) collide and collapse, is where subversive discourse can emerge to dominant discursive power. Furthermore, it is necessary to democratize social discursive space, through which the Other becomes able to. participate in the social production, distribution and consumption of social discourse.

본 고에서는 실내위치인식 및 내비게이션 기술 분야 전문 국제학술대회인 IPIN(Indoor Positioning and Indoor Navigation)에서 매년 개최되고 있는 실내위치인식 경진대회에 대한 전반적인 체계, 운영현황에 대해 소개한다. 실내위치인식 기술은 최근 몇 년 사이에 여러 가지 기술적 사회적으로 그 중요성이 높아지고 있으며 이에 부응하여 해를 거듭할수록 경진대회에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 고에서는 경진대회가 실제 어떻게 진행되는지 안내하기 위해 2016년 IPIN 경진대회의 결과를 요약 정리하고, 실내위치인식을 위해 어떤 접근방법들이 제안되었는지 살펴본다.

소셜 네트워크 서비스와 모바일 단말의 보급이 증가함에 따라 사용자들은 커뮤니티를 형성하고 이를 통하여 즉시적으로 문제(Needs) 해결에 필요한 사용자들간의 경험 정보를 공유하고자 한다. 기존의 커뮤니티들은 특정 의도로 형성된 공동체로써 사용자의 위치 및 사회적 관계 보다는 단순히 카폐 개념의 공동체를 형성한다. 사용자의 위치가 변경됨에 따라 원하는 정보를 제공하는 방법에 있어 사용자의 장소/사회적 관계를 고려하여 즉시적으로 필요한 커뮤니티를 추천 검색하거나 신규 커뮤니티를 생성하여 사용자들의 참여를 통한 정보 공유 및 사용자 위치에서 발생되는 여러 이벤트를 수집할 수 있는 소셜 레이더 기능이 필요하다. 또한 형성된 공동체를 통하여 서비스 실행에 필요한 실행환경을 공유하여 소셜 네트워크 서비스를 제공받고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 사용자가 존재하는 공간 내에서 서로 공유될 수 있는 정보를 추적/검색/추천/공유할 수 있는 사용자 위치 기반 소셜 레이더 관리 시스템에 관한 구성 방법을 제공한다.

This paper analyzes quantitative economic effect of accuracy improvement in location based services. This analysis is motivated from the situation that Korea Communications Commission is preparing the notification for 'location accuracy standard.' The analysis includes three level of impacts. Firm level analyzes the impact on revenue of firms. Social level additionally includes consumers' surplus in LBS industry. Lastly, economywide level includes ripple effects to another industries, which uses input-output analysis. The result of analysis shows that the economic value reaches to considerable amount and cost-benefit ratio is considerably high. The consumers' surplus is much larger than revenue increase. This result supports the intuition that many of location based services are for public interest and that the services have much externalities among firms and consumers. This means that the role of government is very important in the execution of accuracy improvement.

연쇄 살인과 같은 강력 범죄의 심각성이 사회적 이슈가 되면서 이에 대한 효과적인 과학 수사의 필요성이 증가되고 있다. 특히, 연쇄 범죄 데이타에 대한 공간 분석을 통해 범죄자의 거점 위치를 예측하는 지리적 프로파일링과 미래에 발생될 범행 장소의 위치, 즉 기존 범행에 이어 일어날 다음 범행 위치 예측에 관한 연구가 활발하다. 그러나, 이와 관련된 기존 연구는 물리적인 거리에 대한 통계적 기법을 적용하거나 단순한 공간적 분석만을 적용하므로 낮은 예측 정확도를 보이는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하고 보다 효과적인 연쇄 범죄 수사를 지원하는 방법으로써 연쇄 범죄 발생에 대한 공간적 시간적 분포 특성에 따른 시공간 패턴을 기반으로 다양한 시공간 분석을 적용하는 거점 위치 예측 기법과 다음 범행 위치 예측 기법을 제안한다. 제안 기법은 중심축을 따라 나타나는 선형 분포의 연쇄 범죄에서도 정확도 높은 예측이 가능하고, 다수의 서로 다른 군집들에 대해 각 군집내 범행에 대한 지역적 예측과 대상 영역의 모든 범행에 대한 전역적 예측이 가능하다. 또한 방향 패턴을 활용하여 다음 범행 위치 예측 정확도도 개선하였다.

This study analyzes the influence of player's social factors on their game play. By conducting a survey of 1,000 general public in Korea, this study aims to understand how game player's social factors influence on their game play behavior: whether they play a game or not, how long they play, and how frequent they play. The survey result suggests that there are some relations between player's social factors and their game play behaviour. The personal factors such as sex, age, monthly income level are seen to have influence on the length and frequency of their game play. Players' the social factors such as social status, social activity participation level and confidence level also have influence over their game play behaviours as well. And the influences are seen to be different depending on whether it's on online game or mobile game.

A case study has been conducted on the changes in the identity and agency of international marriage migrant women who experienced a shift from a immigrant worker to a foreign spouse and a Korean citizen. The life histories of the eight female migrants living in Gumi area, a representative inland industrial complex in Korea, have been investigated by in-depth interview. The aim is to examine how the female migrants reconstruct and interpret their lives. The results reveal that the identy of a female migrant is flexible depending on her social positionality. The identities established from the past experiences in their native countries have been changed by their situations and conditions in Korea. The female immigrants recognize that their problems have been an important issue both in government policy and mass media. However, the female migrants express a strong revolt against the fact that they are considered as underclass victims or innocent people from underdeveloped countries. This implies their ambivalence toward international marriage that they selected subjectively. There is a finding to show a new possibility; the Transnational Marriage & Family Support Center supported by Government may provide a good ground for the female migrants to be a active group agent. The results illustrate that the international marriage migrant women could not be classified into a single group as wives. Called for are diverse researches reflecting the complex situations of migrant women.
