This study conducted empirical analysis of the association between the factors of GSCM corporation practice and social responsibility affecting environmental performance and organizational performance. Smart PLS 2.0 and SPSS 18.0 were used to examine a sample of 93 replies collected from corporations that had adopted GSCM. The results of hypothesis testing were as follows. First, social responsibility has a positive effect on the environmental performance of corporation complying with legal responsibility in environment related sectors. Second, internal environmental management and market environment have positive effects on the environmental performance. Third, corporations with a high level of environmental performance have high degrees of organizational performance. The results of this study are expected to have practical implications to corporations that will adopt GSCM in the near future.

The ethical problems related to climate changes have basically different character from the ethical problems which we have experienced until now. In order to approach ethical problems of climate changes for forseeing, mitigating and adapting many complicated situations which result from climate changes we should breake away from the point of anthropocentrism at first. Secondly, the education of the ethics of climate changes is very important in all levels of schools. It is very important and urgent to decide what and how we should teach. Finally, the sustainability has important role in the justification of why and what we should take actions against climate changes.

The purpose of this study is to have insights comparing Korea with US media companies on investigating their CSR goals, targets, methods, and strategies. Specifically, this study finds out the characteristics of CSR cases on broadcasting companies, telecom enterprises, and internet businesses on both countries. The results indicate that the US media companies focus more on inner stakeholders like employees as stimulating employees' welfare, ESG recognition, education, and culture via socially responsible business practices whereas the Korean media companies prefer to supporting have-nots, solving social issues, and market expansion through cause promotions and community volunteering. On CSR activity strategies, there is no difference between countries but some gaps between ones. Of companies, telecom enterprises, regardless of nations, are the best on strategical approaches of CSR activity.

Under the market economy of capitalism, several limitations reveal the inequity and redistribution problem of wealth, inefficiency of over-manufacturing and over-consumption, pollution of the natural environment, and the constraint of human liberty and dignity. The new challenge of symbiotic relationships that encourage individual corporations coincides with the need to practice social responsibility and share values to overcome these limitations. Social economy and the social enterprises that simultaneously pursue the making of corporate private profits and the realization of social values have been suggested and disseminated as alternative social value creators. Furthermore, the concept of a sharing economy, which refers to the sharing of things rather than owning them, is growing traction as a new paradigm of capitalism. However, these efforts of social enterprises have fallen short against the conflicts between private profit and social values. This study deals with the case of a start-up social corporation, "Purun Bike Sharing Inc.," which is based on a regional sharing economy business model about bike rental services that use Information and Communication Technology (ICT). This corporation pursues harmonic management to achieve a balance between private profit and social value. Its corporate mission is to achieve sharing, coexistence, and contribution for public welfare. This mission is a possible idea for use in the local community network as a core key for sustainable social enterprises. The model can also be an alternative approach to overcome the structural friction in the social corporation. This study considers the case of Purun Bike Sharing as a sustainable way to practice a sharing economy business model based on a regional cooperation network, which can be combined with social value, and to apply ICT to a sharing economy system. It also examines the definition and current state of social enterprises and the sharing economy, and the cases of the sharing economy business model for the review of prior research.

우리나라에서도 급속한 산업발전에 따라 공해문제가 날로 심각하게 대두되고 있으며, 특히 대 도심지의 자동차 배기가스로 인한 대기오염 (Air Pollution)은 큰 사회적 문제로 되고 있다. 이에 법적인 규제가 절실하게 필요하게 되어 1977년 12 월 31 일 환경보전법이 공모되고 자동차배 출가스의 규제조합이 수립되었다. 한편 행정직으로 환경청이 설립되어 이를 전달하게 되었으며 아울러 환경관계법령집(1981 년 5월)이 완성을 보았다. 그러나 자동차배출가스의 허용기준치가 자동차공업이 발달한 선진국에 비하여 너무도 미흡한 단계인바 국가적 차원에서 집중적인 대 책강구와 규제를 강화시켜야 할 실정이다. 따라서 우리나라와 선진제국들의 자동차배출의 규제 치및 대책방법 등을 고찰하고, 금후의 개발과 기술적 문제점들을 기술하고자 한다.

2001학년도 자연계 대학의 실질적인 평균 경쟁률이 0.7대 1에 불과하다는 사실이 처음 보도된 것은 2001년 5월 20일 동아일보를 통해서였다. 그 보도를 시작으로 아무도 모르게 청소년들 사이에 불처럼 번진 소위 '이공계 기피'는 우리 사회의 심각한 논란거리가 되었다. 그 원인과 심각성에 대한 수많은 진단과 함께 다양한 개선책이 제시되었다. 최근에는 이공계의 공직 진출을 획기적으로 확대하겠다는 정책까지 발표되었지만 이공계 기피는 여전히 개선될 기미를 보이지 않고 있다.

미국 미시간주에 본사를 두고 전 세계 1백68개국에 공장과 사업지사를 두고 있는 세계적 굴지의 화학회사 Dow케미컬은 21세기를 맞아 새로운 변신을 시도하고 있다. Dow케미컬은 경제성장ㆍ환경보전ㆍ사회적 책임 등 3대 전략과 과제를 담아 '퍼블릭 리포트 1999'라는 보고서를 발표하여 회사를 투명하게 일반에게 공개했다. 1970년 한국에도 진출한 Dow 케미컬은 3만9천명의 사원을 거느리고 각종 화학, 플라스틱, 농학제품을 개발ㆍ생산하고 있다.

현재 우리사회는 인터넷의 진화와 정보통신기술의 비약적인 발전으로 급속하게 변화하고 있으며, 스마트폰의 확산과 무선 인터넷 활성화, 신규 융합서비스가 급격한 성장세를 보이며 인터넷을 기반으로 한 컨버전스가 산업 발전의 새로운 패러다임으로 대두되고 있다. 이러한 패러다임의 변화는 세계 최고 수준의 IT 인프라를 기반으로 새로운 비즈니스 창출과 사회현안 해결을 위한 IT 활용의 중요성을 말해주며, 우리의 일상생활 전반에 큰 변화를 가져올 것이다. 그러나 정보화의 진전이 진행될수록 이에 대한 역기능 또한 다양해지고 심화되어 사회적 이슈로 대두되고 있는 실정이다. 인터넷의 익명성과 비대면성으로 인해 프라이버시 침해, 불건전 정보의 유통, 중독현상 등 개인과 사회의 피해가 점증하고 있다. 따라서 IT 발전과 활용에 따른 인터넷 진흥과 보호의 균형 있고 체계적인 대책 마련, 책임 의식과 윤리성 강화, 협력체계 구축이 절실히 요구되는 시점이다. 본고에서는 이러한 환경 변화에 대응한 한국인터넷진흥원의 중점 추진과제로서 인터넷 정책 개발과 활성화 기반 마련, 건전한 인터넷 문화와 이용환경 조성, 신속한 침해사고 대응과 선순환 구조 마련, 커뮤니케이션 패키지를 통한 국제협력 활동 등을 살펴보고 사회적 공감대 형성과 적극적인 참여를 도모하고자 한다.

The world is focusing on e-books as the e-book market is growing rapidly as a fused industry at the crossroads of information technology and digital content. Many countries are actively participating in this new market and leveraging on its potential and growth, while Korea's market is still in its preliminary stage. There is a good reason to be concerned over the fact that access to digitalized materials that are the most relevant to the current time are not readily available. Therefore, the strategy in collecting and utilizing content must be newly refurbished. In order to do this, the legal issues and policies related to digital libraries must be considered. The most relevant examples from abroad are Google Book Search and the EU's Europeana project. Then, what are the necessary measures for Korea to materialize its own digital library? Digital libraries can significantly influence social welfare and bring forth economic effects. Social preparation surrounding this subject should continue to increase because digital libraries will change the manner in which people share and use information. Therefore, this paper aims to examine the legal and economic problems and issues related to the establishment of digital libraries as well as to provide policy recommendations.
