The purpose of this study is to express imagination which is not limited to the description of the facts and reproduce the photos as a media to explore the new possibilities for creative expression and the experience of the day-to-day operations for the implementation of the scheme of art genre. The art work for this study using digital images in Autodesk Combustion Workspace as the upper and lower layers were synthesized using the Transfer Mode feature. This study proposed a new photomontage production model, and challenged for the Possibility of a variety of visual representations of media art. Especially the production presents in this study can be applied to various video.

In recent years, a number of Chinese artists are interested in 'Chinese-style'. 'Chinese-style' can be understood as an art form in which Chinese elements are combined with modernized sensibilities. This paper analyzed how Chinese traditional elements can be effectively implemented in fashion photography, focusing on Chen Man, a leading fashion photographer in China. Our research shows that Chen Man looks to the traditions and history of China to inspire her modern work, which makes her unique as a Chinese fashion photographer. She tried not to repetitively express typical images of Chinese elements but to visualize the symbolic meaning of traditional elements as new images of modern China. Through this practice, she were able to effectively communicate the images of products and brands promoted in fashion photos. Furthermore, her works are being recognized by not only the fashion industry but also the international art elite as they contribute to building and promoting Chinese fashion identity. Research on Chen Man's work is significant in providing a new way for 'Chinese-style' fashion photographers to reinterpret Chinese traditional elements without following Chinese tradition.

본 논문에서는 사진 이미지를 이용하여 사용자가 직관적으로 이미지상의 3차원 물체의 특이점을 바탕으로 대화적 방법을 이용하여 메쉬를 생성하고 렌더링을 거쳐 3차원 모델로 완성시키는 캐릭터 개발 도구에 대해 기술한다. 3차원 물체를 모델링하는 데에는 CAD 분야에서 많이 쓰이는 것과 같이 기하학적 모델링을 근거로 하여 개발된 많은 3차원 그래픽 도구를 이용하여 정교한 모델을 구성하는 방법도 있겠지만 응용에 따라서는 정교한 구성보다는 짧은 시간에 쉽게 모델링과 애니메이션 장면을 구성하는 방법이 필요할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 응용 분야에서 쉽게 이용할 수 있는 도구의 개발 과정을 설명한다.

Photomosaic is a method of representation an input image in forms of mosaics by a set of small tile images. Generally, equal rectangular tiles are used in photo mosaics. Therefore, there are limitations to expression of mosaic according to characteristic of images. In this paper, photo mosaics using quad-tree structure is proposed to create tiles in varies sizes. Initially, color variance per each level of an input image is computed using the mipmap of graphic hardware. Depending on the value of Valiance, the input image is divided into tiles in varies sizes. Each tile finds the most similar reference image and replaces with it. As a result, the method provides another pictorial effectiveness by dividing the input image into tiles in varies sizes depending on color held by the input image. In addition, whole processing is done on the graphic hardware and thereby we achieve faster performance.

In 2011, in the Olympus advertisement appeared a copy of 'Writing of Picture'. Usually, the verb of 'Shoot' is commonly attached behind the picture, but a new sentence was made connecting 'writing' into the picture in the advertisement. With entrance of the digital era, the digital devices became popular, and the behaviors people post messages and pictures together on the internet site also became popular. Whether we first take a picture and then make a writing later, or whether we first make a writing and then take a picture later, the meaning of 'writing' and 'shooting' is actually alike in the digital era. People now use various images and writings, at the same time, of the pictures in expressing their own selves positively. This soon means not only that the pictures are helpful for writings, but also that the delivery of the meaning is not carried out only by characters. To the digital natives who have grown within many images, this atmosphere is a natural thing. In the field of Korean language education, the study of making use of the pictures and media for writings is in progress.

인터넷상의 대부분 이미지 검색엔진들은 이미지의 실제 내용보다는 이미지 파일명이나 부가적인 색인과 같은 문자 정보에 의존하여 이미지 검색을 하고 있다. 한편 이미지의 색상 정보를 비교에 사용하는 RGB 히스토그램 방법은 수행시간은 짧지만 형태는 고려하지 않기 때문에 높은 정확도는 기대하기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 이미지의 실제 내용을 비교하여 비정형의 복잡한 물체를 검색하는 새로운 이미지 검색 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 이미지의 색상과 형태 정보를 담은 타일 서열을 local alignment 알고리즘으로 정렬하여 이미지 검색을 한다 비정형 물체인 음식 사진을 사용한 실험에서 기존의 방법 RGB 히스토그램을 이용한 방법보다 월등히 향상된 정확도를 나타내었다.

A photograph used in a film poster summarizes the story of the film that lasts for around two hours. The image must contain a picture that represents the story and text including the title, with various design elements composed in a harmonious way. However, given that a photograph is the most noticeable element in a film poster, this study aims to examine the function, role, and types of a film poster and analyze poster photographs. Currently, there are companies specialized in photography for film posters, but sometimes recognized photographers are commissioned to take a photograph that will be used for a film poster. Hein-kuhn Oh actively produced such photographs in the early and mid-2000s, and this study deals with 'how the photographs recreate the content of the films' focused on three selected photographs taken by him. Also, There were commonalities found between the tree photographs and Oh's personal portrait photographs, which were then analyzed from the photographic aesthetic point of view. This study is a research on the Photo-Storytelling applying factors of storytelling based on comics for the children photo education. Creation of new forms of contents has become possible due to the increase of the image creation and consumption in a new digital environment. Along with this development, the capacity for critical image literacy and the children photo education, as cultural arts, are more in demand than ever before. Therefore, the study proposes a new type of Photo-Storytelling that applies storytelling technique based on comics. First, we investigates the format of comics and compares photo and comics. Second, we analyzes photo education, which applies storytelling based on Comics and analyzes advantage it. This study will contribute to the development of basic research for children photo education by presenting a new form of photo education called the comic photos as the Photo-Storytelling program based on comics.

본 논문에서는 한 위치에서 여러방향으로 찍은 사진들을, Image Stitching 기술을 통해 Panorama 영상을 만드는 과정에 대해 연구한다. VR이 주목 받게 됨에 따라 스마트폰이나 360도 카메라를 사용하여 이미지 스티칭 기법을 사용하여 연속적인 사진을 보여주게 되는되 이를 구현 하기 위한 배경 연구들을 분석하고 구현해 봄으로 속도 향상을 아이디어들에 대하여 연구한다.

This study analyzes how Princess Deokhye's photos before entering elementary school were exploited in newspapers during the Japanese colonial period by introducing Roland Barthes' semiological methodology for analysis of photography. In the early 1920s, the Japanese imperialists actively exploited Princess Deokhye, who was about to enter elementary school, to propagate their education policy. The Maeil Shinbo cooperated with their policies by publishing photos and articles of Princess Deokhye. In this paper, 2 photos and articles published in Maeilshinbo were analyzed. As a result, it was found that messages were produced that justified Japanese education policy by using various rhetorical techniques of photography and texts complementary to each other, and that the readers were induced to accept them naturally. In conclusion, it was possible to reveal the seriousness of the problem in that these articles were not merely for propaganda of policy, but were to encourage the disappearance of the traditional values of Joseon.
