Pulmonary blastoma are a family of tumors in which the glands or mesenchyme composing the neoplasm are primitive or emb yonal in appearance. We report a pulmonary blastoma occurring in a 31 years old man. An abnormal shadow was detected in the right lower lung field in a routine chest X-ray film. The preoperative imaging films showed about a 5cm sized well circumscribed solid tumor of the right lung. A preoperative clinical diagnosis of primary lung cancer was considerd. The operative field showed that the hard, round mass, 6$\times$5$\times$4cm in diameter was localized in middle lobe of the right lung, and partially adhered to the upper lobe, pericardium and diaphragm. Right middle lobe lobectomy, right upper lobe wedge resection, partial pericardiectomy and diaphragm resection with plication was performed with radical Iymph node dissection. Histopathologic diagnosis was pulmonary blastoma (Biphasic blastoma). It is considered that the prognosis of biphasic blastoma is worse than WDFA(well differentiated fetal adenocarcinoma). There are no other available treatments except for surgical resection. It is suggeste that it is necessary to collect as many cases as possible, to make definite classifications and to examine the clinical course and prognosis of pulmonary blastoma.

Tracheobronchial injuries are uncommon. Except for the cervical region, most tracheobronchial injuries are due to blunt chest trauma in Korea. The depth of the tracheobronchial trees renders these structures relatively safe from stab wound. We experienced a case of left main bronchial laceration with azygos vein tear following stab wound in the back of right chest firstly in Korea. The patient was a 24 years old male. A routine chest radiography showed a knife in chest at emergency room. We didn't remove the knife at emergency room. This patient was carried to operation room in 30 minutes after arrival of our hospital without computed tomography and bronchoscopy. The operation was performed through standard right posterolateral thoracotomy and then the knife was removed. The left main bronchus and azyos vein were lacerated obliquely. The penetrated azygos vein was ligated and the laceration of the left main bronchus was repaired. Postoperative course was uneventful.

Present paper deals with 773 specimens of family Curculionidae from North Korea that preserved in Zoological Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences (ZIN) and Hungarian Museum of Natural Science (HMNH). We identified 91 species, of which 21 species are new to the fauna of Korean peninsula. Newly recorded species from Korea are as follows: Grypus mannerheimi Faust, Anoplus plantaris (Naezen), Anthonomus (Anthonomidius) dilutus Reitter, Cleopomiarus jakowlewi Faust, Sibinia annulifera Pic, Sibinia ussurica Korotyaev et Egorov, Baris scolopacea Germar, Scleropterus rubi Korotyaev, Cryptorhynchus fasciculatus (Roelofs), Shirahoshiro favonotatus (Voss), Shirahoshiro \ulcornerhiurai Morimoto, Cyriophthalmus variegatus (Motschulsky), Myllocerus (Myzzocerus) alternanus Voss, Sitona amurensis Faust, Sitona tessellatus Korotyaev, Metadonus distinguendus Boheman, Lixus (Ortholixus) amurensis Faust, Lixus (Compsozixus) ochraceus Boheman, Coniocleonus cineritus (Gyllenhal), Coniocleonus schoenherri (Gebler), and Magdaiis (Neopanus) cerasi (Linnaeus). Descriptions and photographs of newly recorded species from Korea and distribution data of 91 species are provided.

제4회 2005년 한국국제축산박람회가 오는 8월 31일부터 9월 2일까지 KOTRA 대전무역전시관(KOTREX), 엑스포과학공원에서 '깨끗한 환경과 안전한 축산물'이라는 주제로 열린다. 본 박람회 주최는 대한양돈협회, 대한양계협회, 한국낙농육우협회, 전국한우협회, 한국축산환경시설기계협회가 되고, 대한양돈협회, 2005한국국제축산박람회추진위원회, KOTREX가 공동 주관한다. 행사 후원은 농림부, 농협중앙회, 한국사료협회, 대전광역시, 충청남도가 맡았다. 이번 박람회는 출품하는 전시업체와 참관객인 축산농가를 위한 박람회로 꾸미기 위해 우선 장소를 대전 무역전시관(KOTREX)으로 옮겨 축산농가들이 쉽게 찾아올 수 있도록 했으며, 전시부스 내에서 실제적인 상담과 거래가 활성화 될 수 있도록 시식행사 등 부대행사는 옥외에서 치러질 수 있도록 하였다. 2005 한국국제축산박람회는 체험박람회, 참여박람회, 비즈니스박람회라는 목표하에 전시면적 15,250제곱미터에 15개국 178여개업체가 600부스 규모로 열리게 된다. 출품대상품목은 축산기자재 및 시설, 배합사료, 동물약품, 생명공학 제품, 축산물 위생 및 가공시설, 축산물 및 가공식품, 가축분뇨 자원화 처리시설, 종축, 리모델링 관련 설비 및 기술, 컨설팅 관련 정보 및 기술 등이 있다. 부대행사로는 축산물 시식회, 축산관련 학술 세미나, 우수전시업체 선발 및 시상, 전국대학생 포스터 경진대회 및 시상, 종축 전시와 경매, 재래닭 및 특수가금 전시, 애완견 및 명견전시, 돼지달리기 및 사진찍기 등이 개최된다. 박람회 참관객은 외국인 바이어 1,000명을 포함하여 10만명에 이를 것으로 추정하고 있다. 학술행사는 박람회 기간 동안 엑스포과학기념관과 대전전시관 세미나실에서 양계세미나, 축산기자재세미나, 축산기술세미나, 양돈포럼, 낙농세미나, 한우세미나, 양돈세미나가 열리게 된다.

Chylothorax is defined as an extravasation of chylous fluid to the pleural cavity due to various causes, and a spontaneous chylothorax associated with primary lymphedema is an exceedingly rare condition. We report a case of the chylothorax associated with lymphedema. A 14-year-old boy was admitted to our hospital for chest pain and dyspnea. He had been on medical treatment for lymphedema and his chest roentgenogram on admission revealed left pleural effusion. The diagnosis of chylothorax was confirmed by chemical analysis of the pleural fluid. The patient was treated successfully by ligation of the thoracic duct using video assisted thoracoscopic technique.

The compositions, the gas properties in motor chamber and the aluminum oxide (Al2O3) particle size for two kinds of solid propellants with approximately 20% aluminum powder have been investigated. The SEM photographs of $Al_2O_3$ taken from nozzle entrance liner show that the aluminized PCP propellant with 47% volumetric fraction AP/HNIW and bimodal oxidizer 200-5 ${\mu}m$ can offer greater possibility for increasing aluminum agglomeration than the aluminized HTPB propellant with 64% volumetric fraction AP and trimodal oxidizer 400-200-6 ${\mu}m$. The nozzle entrance liner of solid rocket motor with the PCP propellant shows greater erosion at 4 circumferential sections in line with grain slots due to the impingement of large particles, but that with the HTPB propellant shows uniform erosion with circumferential angle.

The premixed burner is a very strong candidate for using household boiler burner system because it has high efficiency, low emission and can be used in compact boiler system. Usually, household boiler burner systems use a Bunsen burner, which consists of an inner rich premixed flame and fuel burned completely by a secondary air supply. It has a relatively long flame length and operates in a high excess of air, so it is difficult to fit such a burner into a high efficiency compact boiler. In this paper, the characteristics of a premixed combustion burner for surface media such as metal fiber, ceramic, and SUS fin were evaluated. In particular, the flow velocity over the burner surface for the cold flow characteristics of the surface material were measured and adjusted. The combustion tests were carried out by taking pictures of the flame and measuring the flame temperature. The amounts of CO and NO were measured and the characteristics of the surface burner materials, combustion chamber, and heat exchangers were evaluated for various excess air ratios and heating values.

Modeling and rendering of cloth texture have been regarded as one of the most important factors to enhance reality of the contents in the digital contents industry. So far, however, two major approaches to realistically describe the cloth texture were developed: building analytical reflectance model for target cloth and sometimes thread itself and obtaining overall reflectance model using optical equipments. However, yielding a plausible analytic reflection model satisfying many subtle characteristics of a cloth is not an easy task; moreover, fine-detailed modeling of the cloth pattern across the target clothes should also be accompanied by huge amount of computation. The method to obtain overall reflectance model needs expensive measurement equipments and data size becomes huge. Since it applies in the end the reflectance model obtained at one point of a cloth to across whole the visible area of the target clothes, it cannot properly reproduce the pattern of the clothes nor the texture. To address the aforementioned problems, this paper proposes a simple low cost camera rig and a novel method for realistic modeling and rendering of the cloth texture by analyzing photos taken by the proposed camera rig, which can reproduce even the texture pattern applied to the whole clothes, overcoming the one-point reflectance model.

We report a previously unrecorded woody species, Stachyurus praecox Siebold & Zucc. (Stachyuraceae), in Korea. This species is considered to be endemic to Japan. Stachyurus praecox was collected for the first time in an evergreen forest on an uninhabited island of Bongsun-ri, Saengil-myeon, Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do in Korea. The inflorescence of the species was racemose and pendulous on the axils of the previous year's branches. Flowers bloomed from March to April. They were functionally dioecy but morphologically hermaphrodite. This woody species was named 'Wan-do-sul-kkot-na-mu' in Korean based on the shape of its inflorescence. Morphological characteristics and illustrations of this woody species have been provided with a distribution map and photographs of the natural habitat.

This study has reviewed the applicability of displacement measurement by using a digital vision technique based on typical photogrammetric methods. In this study, a series of experimental measurements have been performed in order to improve the accuracy of digital vision measurement by establishing criteria of factors of various vision measurements. It is found that the digital vision measurement tends to show higher accuracy as the image size(resolution) and the focal length become larger and the distance to an object becomes closer. It is also observed that measurement error decreases with processing as many images as possible in various angles. Applicability on high-resolution displacement measurement is proved by applying the digital vision measurement developed in this study to a large scale loading test of concrete lining.
