  • A great number of RFID authentication protocols have been proposed for the secure RFID system. These are typically divided into three types according to primitive that they use : Hash-based, Re-encryption based, and XORing-based protocol. The well-known attacks in RFID system are eavesdropping. impersonating, location tracking, and so on. However, existing protocols could not provide security against above attacks, or it was not efficient to search for tags on database. Therefore, in this paper we present a protocol which is secure against above attacks by using hash function and makes Database search tags easily by attaining the state information of previous session through the shared values with all tags and database.

  • With the rapid development of IT technology, integration with existing industries has led to an increase in smart manufacturing that simplifies processes and increases productivity based on 4th industrial revolution technology. Security threats are also increasing and there are. In the case of supply chain attacks, it is difficult to detect them in advance and the scale of the damage is extremely large, so they have emerged as next-generation security threats, and research into detection technology is necessary. Therefore, in this paper, we collect, store, analyze, and visualize logs in multiple environments in real time using ELK Stack and Sysmon, which are open source-based analysis solutions, to derive information such as abnormal behavior related to supply chain attacks, and efficiently We try to provide an effective detection method.

  • Created, but the development of mobile devices to have a margin of life have appeared in the opposite forces that are considered to be the target of financial crime and attacks them. Financial crime among crimes that target the smartphone SMS phishing, phishing, pharming, phishing, etc. voice and, in particular, a phenomenon that is growing a lot of SMS phishing is by nature a text message to your mobile. Ye Jin proactive rather than post responses in order to be safe from the SMS phishing attack individuals and businesses, and asset protection is even more important in the country. For this, the SMS phishing attack detected in advance and that can block the development program, it is necessary to deploy.

  • A remote user authentication scheme is a two-party protocol whereby an authentication server in a distributed system confirms the identity of a remote individual logging on to the server over an untrusted, open network. In 2005, Liao et al. proposed a remote user authentication scheme using a smart card, in which users can be authenticated anonymously. Recently, Yoon et al. have discovered some security flaws in Liao et al.'s authentication scheme and proposed an improved version of this scheme to fix the security flaws. In this article, we review the improved authentication scheme by Yoon et al. and provide a security analysis on the scheme. Our analysis shows that Yoon et al.'s scheme does not guarantee not only any kind of authentication, either server-to-user authentication or user-to-server authentication but also password security. The contribution of the current work is to demonstrate these by mounting two attacks, a server impersonation attack and a user impersonation attack, and an off-line dictionary attack on Yoon et al.'s scheme. In addition, we propose the enhanced authentication scheme that eliminates the security vulnerabilities of Yoon et al.'s scheme.

  • The purpose of this study is to measure the effect of musical activities on children's aggressiveness using percussion playing through case studies and to present the therapeutic programs. Musical activities using percussion playing were organized for three aggressive children. Twenty-one small group sessions were conducted over seven weeks with 30 minutes given each session. Fourth-grade children involved in using Aggressiveness Measuring Tool for Teachers-revised by Gwak Geum-Joo(1992) was selected for case studies. Children's impulsiveness was also tested through self-test measuring tool for impulsiveness-revision of 16 questions used by Cho Hae Yeon (2001) and Lee Joo Shik (2003). As quantitative method, comparative analysis was made between the pre and post test results using measuring tools for aggressiveness and impulsiveness of children as well as between aggressive behaviors occurring in the initial stage of the first three sessions and in the latter stage of the last three sessions. Qualitative method was used at the same time to examine the effect of percussion playing on children. After the musical activities, child A showed reduced Aggressive Measuring Tool scores from 19 to 18, with child B from 23 to 19 and child C from 21 to 18. The results show that occurrence of aggressive behaviors were lowered in the post test. Impulsiveness Measuring Tool scores in the post test were decreased as well in all three children. During the music therapy programs, it was also observed that the frequency of the target behaviors in all three children has reduced more in the latter stage than the initial stage of music therapy. The qualitative findings indicate that the children experienced releasing stress through self-expression after percussion playing. These findings indicate therapeutic effectiveness of music therapy using on percussion playing in reducing aggressiveness of children as well as the effectiveness of percussion as a therapeutic intervention for aggressive children. These results can be adapted and reapplied by teachers in primary schools to approach children with behavior problems, and can present a useful therapeutic approach to therapists practicing in clinical environments.

  • A group key exchange (GKE) protocol is designed to allow a group of parties communicating over a public network to establish a common secret key. As group-oriented applications gain popularity over the Internet, a number of GKE protocols have been suggested to provide those applications with a secure multicast channel. Among the many protocols is Yi et al.'s password-based GKE protocol in which each participant is assumed to hold their individual password registered with a trusted server. A fundamental requirement for password-based key exchange is security against off-line dictionary attacks. However, Yi et al.'s protocol fails to meet the requirement. In this paper, we report this security problem with Yi et al.'s protocol and show how to solve it.

  • Due to the Internet and computing capability, new and variant malware are discovered around 1 Million per day. Companies use dynamic analysis such as behavior analysis on virtual machines for unknown malware detection because attackers use unknown malware which is not detected by signature based AV effectively. But growing number of malware types are not only PE(Portable Executable) but also non-PE such as MS word or PDF therefore dynamic analysis must need more resources and computing powers to improve detection effectiveness. This study elicits the pre-filtering system evaluation factor to improve effective dynamic malware analysis system and presents and verifies the decision making model and the formula for solution selection using AHP(Analytics Hierarchy Process)

  • Many organizations operate security systems and manage them using the intergrated secutity management (ISM) dechnology to secyre their network environment effectively. But current ISM is passive and behaves post-event manner. To reduce cost and resource for managing security and to remove possbility of succeeding in attacks by intruder, the perventive security management technology is required. In this paper, we propose PRISM model that performs preventative security management with evaluating the security level of host or network and the sensitivity level of information asset from potential risks before security incidents occur. The PRISM can give concrete and effective security management in managing the current complex networks.

  • Most password-authenticated key exchange schemes in the literature provide an authenticated key exchange between a client and a server based on a pre-shared password. With a rapid change in modem communication environments, it is necessary to construct a secure end-to-end channel between clients, which is a quite different paradigm from the existing ones. In this paper we propose a new framework which provides a password-authenticated ky exchange between clients based only on their two different Passwords without my Pre-shared secret, so called Client-to-Client Password-Authenticated Key Exchange(C2C-PAKE). Security notions and types of possible attacks are newly defined according to the new framework We prove our scheme is secure against all types of attacks considered in the paper. Two secure C2C-PAKE schemes are suggested, one in a cross-realm setting and the other in a single-sorrel setting.

  • Security incidents using vulnerabilities in cloud services occur, but it is difficult to collect and analyze traces of incidents in cloud environments with complex and diverse service models. As a result, the importance of cloud forensics research has emerged, and infringement response scenarios must be designed from the perspective of cloud service users (CSUs) and cloud service providers (CSPs) based on representative security threat cases in the public cloud service model. This simulated hacking-based proactive cloud infringement response framework can be used to respond to the cloud service critical resource attack process from the viewpoint of vulnerability detection before cyberattacks occur on the cloud, and can also be expected for data acquisition. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a framework for preventive cloud infringement based on simulated hacking by analyzing and utilizing Cloudfox, a cloud penetration test tool.
