Although forest fires are more often triggered by artificial causes than by natural causes, the combustion conditions that spread forest fire damage over a large area are affected by natural phenomena. Therefore, using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM), which can analyze the dependent and causal relationships between various factors, this study evaluated the causal relationships and relative influences between forest fire, weather, and drought, taking Gangwon Province as our sample region. The results indicated that the impact of drought on forest fires was 27 % and that of the weather was 38 %. In addition, forest fires in spring accounted for about 60 % of total forest fires. This indicatesthat along with meteorological factors, the autumn and winter droughts in the previous year affected forest fires. In assessing the risk of forest fires, if severe meteorological droughts occur in autumn and winter, the probability of forest fires may increase in the spring of the following year.

The purpose of this study is to identify the applicability of machine learning targeting titles in the classification of books in public libraries. Data analysis was performed using Python's scikit-learn library through the Jupiter notebook of the Anaconda platform. KoNLPy analyzer and Okt class were used for Hangul morpheme analysis. The units of analysis were 2,000 title fields and KDC classification class numbers (300 and 600) extracted from the KORMARC records of public libraries. As a result of analyzing the data using six machine learning models, it showed a possibility of applying machine learning to book classification. Among the models used, the neural network model has the highest accuracy of title classification. The study suggested the need for improving the accuracy of title classification, the need for research on book titles, tokenization of titles, and stop words.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the mediating effect of job-stress in relation to the leadership competency and job-satisfaction of the childcare center principal. This study was to conducted using questionnaires on 212 childcare center principals located in G city and collected data were analyzed using SPSS/PC 21.0. The study results were as follows. First, leadership competency of the childcare center principal showed higher than average degree and job-satisfaction and job-stress showed average degree. Second, there were statistically significant positive correlation between the leadership competency and job-satisfaction of the childcare center principal. And job-stress showed statistically significant negative correlation with leadership competency and job-satisfaction of the childcare center principal. Third, the leadership competency of the childcare center principal affects job satisfaction, and job stress has a partial mediating effect between leadership competency an job satisfaction. For the successful operation of the childcare center, it is necessary to find a variety of policy and institutional measures to reduce job stress of principal of childcare center and increase job satisfaction to demonstrate positive leadership competency.

The representation of shamanism or shaman in Korean cinema has changed according to eras. Since the 2000s, shamanism and shaman appear more frequently than before as the main subjects and characters in movies. The full-scale exploration of shamans usually takes places in documentary works, such as <'Mudang'>(2002), (2006) and (2011). Shamans are summoned in more various appearences in feature films. In this article, we will compare and analyze the representations of shamanism and shaman in recent Korean occult genre films. (2015), (2016), and (2017) are works that utilize new subjects and visual effect styles that were difficult to see in Korean horror films before. In these three films, the meaning of shaman and gut shows distinct differences from each others. Through the analysis of these films, we would like to explore the characteristics and possibilities of Korean occult films.

In the rapidly changing business environment, the intention to start a new business is strengthening. In this study, in order to confirm the effect on the entrepreneurial intention, the relationship and the effect among technical capability, and job satisfaction, and entrepreneurship, which are the second order factor consisting of risk taking, desire for achievement, and innovativeness, on entrepreneurial intention were analyzed to identify the effect of business intentions from the perspective of knowledge management.. To this end, the proposed research model was statistically verified using the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model. Under analysis, survey data were collected online for 280 employees currently in the workplace, and the research model was empirically analyzed through the structural equation model. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that all the suggested variables had a significant effect on the entrepreneurial intention, and that job satisfaction had a negative moderating effect on entrepreneurial intention by interacting with entrepreneurship. The results of this study are expected to provide practical and theoretical implications from a knowledge management perspective.

We analyze the performance of South Korea wholesalers and retailers during the period when COVID-19 emerged and began to spread in South Korea. Specifically, we choose operational efficiency as a proxy variable for reflecting corporate performance and apply stochastic frontier analysis for estimating operational efficiency. Importantly, in order to examine the impact of the COVID-19 period (Q1 to Q2 2020) on operational efficiency, we consider the quarterly fixed effect corresponding to the COVID-19 period. Our findings include: (ⅰ) the average level of operational ffficiency is approximately 0.7138 during the analysis period (Q1 2019 to Q2 2020); (ⅱ) the fixed effect of the COVID-19 period on operational efficiency is not significant; and (ⅲ) operational efficiency is positively correlated with the scale of the company. Moreover, from an academic perspective, we make a contribution by examining the relationship between the operational efficiency as a firm-level variable and the COVID-19 period as a macroeconomic variable.

This paper deals with on the game's way of embodying the society at the end of the century. Resident Evil, Parasite Eve, and Silent Hill are the targets of the analysis. First, I examine the world view of each game and its own language that conveys its contents. Second, I analyze the specific parts of reality that the three games imitate and the way they are represented. Third, I consider the connection between the real world and the world embodied in the game. Fourth, I suggest the possibility of providing an 'alternative perspective' of game media that reveals the hidden aspects of reality in a way of representation. In conclusion, the image of the game becomes 'the eye' that complements our perspective, captures the hidden aspects of reality, obtains a meaningful part, and even presents its blueprint.

This study was intended to analyze the effects of Entrepreneurship on manufacturing(G-automobile) employees' Organizational Culture and Job satisfaction. A proposed model based on previous research was empirically tested via SPSS 25.0 using 349 valid samples collected from current employees of G-automobile Enterprises in Chang Won. The results of the empirical analysis are summarized as follows. First, Entrepreneurship(Innovativeness, Proactiveness, Risk-taking) had direct effects on Job satisfaction. Second, Entrepreneurship(Innovative, Enterprising, Risk-sensitive) had direct effects on Organizational Culture. Third, as a result of analyzing the effect of Organizational Culture on Job satisfaction, it was found that Organizational Culture(Development Culture, Rational Culture) had a significant positive(+) effect on Job satisfaction. The results of this empirical analysis are considered to be related to the rigid organizational culture of automobile manufacturing companies with many male-oriented field workers. In the future, research involving other automobile manufacturers is expected to be needed.

This study analyzed YouTube beauty videos that focus on makeup for teens, based on the assumption that the main viewers of the videos are teens. Through looking at the interaction between beauty information providers and receivers, communication among information receivers, and the way people participate in comment thread, the study examined how teens engage in social media. Many teens who posted comments on YouTube beauty videos praised and envied the beauty of beauty gurus, and tried to connect with them. The comment thread shows that teens answered to each other's questions on makeup tips, shared thoughts and experiences on issues around teen wearing makeup, which helped them build a sense of community, and broaden their views on the way of life. Also observed was power dynamics among youth, such as lecturing or verbal abuse against children and pre-teens by older teens.

This report describes the damage caused by gypsy moths (Lymantria dispar) and stick bugs (Ramulus mikado) to forests and host plants in 2020. Severe tree-crown defoliation was found in central parts of Korea, especially Gangwon (1,638 ha), Gyeonggi (1,134 ha), Chungbuk (726 ha) and Seoul (476 ha). Stick bug outbreaks occurred in hilly areas, such as Mt. Bongsan, located between Seoul and Goyang.
