  • This paper aims from various angles to examine the context of the problem situations that Jang Woo-Jae describes from contemporary korean society, to examine which chance of thinking is in this case given to the audience, and to examine whether through the plays in the theater this chance of thinking can be referred to public opinion. This study considers not only the contribution of Jang's thought experiment that is connected to the dramaturgical function including the aspects of dramatic form and content to dramatic effects for the audience, but also the possibility of an arrangement for a new way of thinking by the audience. Thus, Jang's thought experiment should be understood in connection with the whole message of his plays. And this study researches, how an new attention to the public nature of common world, which should be demanded for the sake of a mature civil society comes into existence within the point of contention in every play based on Jang's thought experiment. Finally this paper inspects through Jang's plays the possibility of contribution of performing art to contemporary korean society, and takes account of self-examination in meta-dimension of the theater regarding the role and meaning for the sake of human being and gemeinschaft.

  • 지금가지 인지과학적인 연구는 주로 인간의 지능이나 신경망, 그리고 언어를 주 연구 대상으로 다루어 왔다. 그런데 인공지능은 철학의 고유영역에 속하던 많은 문제를 다루게 되었고, 그 주제들을 다뤄온 철학적 방법들을 여러 측면에서 채용하고 있다. 따라서 인지과학과 철학이라는 두 분야가 접목되어야 할 필요성이 있을 것이다. 본 연구는 위에 바탕을 두어 1) 인간 사유에 대한 데카르트의 성찰(cogito ergo sum)을 소개하고, 2) 이를 MFC를 이용한 Multi-threading으로 구현하고 실험하여, 3) 인간의 철학적 사유체계와 사고 중 이성과 오성에 관한 부분은 인공적으로 구현 가능하다는 사실과 응용 가능성을 검토하도록 한다.

Eine Studie eines lernerorientierten Unterrichtsmodells für den fruchtbaren Philosophie-, Essay- und Ethikunterricht (2): unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Methoden der Form von Lesen und Schreiben (효과적인 철학, 논술, 윤리교육을 위한 학습자 중심의 수업 모델 연구(2): 읽기 및 글쓰기 형식의 방법을 중심으로)

  • Gemäß der lernerorientierten Didaktik und Methodik des deutschen neuen Schulfaches "Praktische Philosophie" studiert die vorliegende Forschung die Unterrichtsmethoden zum fruchtbaren Philosophie-, Essay- und Ethikunterricht. Sie stellt die Unterrichtsmethoden unter der Gliederung von 1) Methoden für die Einführung in den Unterricht, 2) die für den Hauptteil des Unterrichts, 3) die für den Abschluss des Unterrichts, 4) die für Strukturierung des ganzen Unterrichts dar. Der zweite Teil wird wiederum in die Methoden der Form vom Sprechen und Horen, vom Lesen und vom Schreiben unterteilt. Wegen der Einschränkung vom erlaubten Umfang für den Aufsatz wird diese Forschung in zwei Aufsätze geteilt. Der erste Aufsatz behandelte den Teil 1) und den ersten Unterteil des Teils 2). Als Methoden für die Einführung in den Unterricht stellten sich Partnerinterview, Brainstorming und Schneeball dar und als Methoden der Form vom Sprechen und Horen Fishbowl, Pro-Kontra-Argumention, Gruppenarbeit und das sokratische Gespräch. Dieser zweite Aufsatz stellt Lesekompetenz, Lesestrategie, Textanalyse, Mindmapping, Dilemma, kooperatives Lesen und Placemat im Bezug auf Methoden der Form vom Lesen dar und das einfache und dialektische Argumentieren, das kreative Schreiben und Gedankenexperiment als Methoden der Form vom Schreiben. Als Methoden für den Abschluss des Unterrichts werden Blitzlicht, Feedback und Postersession und als Methoden für Strukturierung des ganzen Unterrichts Sandwich und Lernstop betrachtet.

Analytic study on Rhizome by Gilles Deleuze : Focusing on the Film (들뢰즈의 리좀 모델 분석 : 영화 <엘리펀트>를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze and illustrate 'Rhizome', a postmodern speculation system based on de-subjectivity and decentralization, presented by Gilles Deleuze. He borrowed the word rhizome, an originally botanical term meaning a horizontal stem under the surface of the earth, to counteract the dominating system grounded on binary, root-tree structure. The study then criticizes the early movements of de-subjectivity with molecular-biological and evolutionary evidences, and proves that these evidences can only be characterized by chance and nomadism, which are the key elements that constitute Rhizome. As a practical example of Rhizome, the study analyzes the film by Gus Van Sant, and demonstrates that both his various cinematic experiments and the result bear the same characteristics as Rhizome.

홀로그램과 예술 -과학문화와 새로운 감수성-

  • 오늘날의 예술은 과거보다는 그 경계를 넓혀 점점 더 빠르게 과학정신에 가까워져가고 과학에 의한 기술과 그 발전이 예술창작에 중요한 매개(Medium)로 작용하여, 과학기술에 의한 인류문명의 격변을 예고하고 있다. 이에 예술가들은 과학기술을 하나의 '새로운 감수성'으로 받아들여 포스트 휴먼(Post human)시대에 인류가 꿈꾸어왔던 새로운 문화를 창조해 인류의 정체성(正體性)을 재정립시킬 것으로 여겨진다. 나는 순수 예술가로서 홀로그램 기술을 응용한 현대예술(회화)을 실험하는 과정에 있으며, 과학적 실험실에 예술적 감수성을 버무려'새로운 패러다임의 예술적 감수성'을 증명하고자 실험하는 작가이다. 이것은 과학과 예술의 융합을 통해 하나의 사회적 공동체로서 함께 인류문명에 기여할 수 있는 어떤 사유(思惟)의 형상화이며, 과학과 그 기술이 예술과 더불어 인류의 미래를 이끄는 혜안(慧眼)이 되어주길 바라는 기대이기도 하다.

A study of sedimentation processes in seamangum coastal area (새만금지구의 퇴적과정에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to find sedimentation patterns variation in Seamangum coastal sea region. Water circulations are calculated diagnostically from the observed water temperature and salinity data and wind data and tidal residual current. There dimensional movements of injected particles due to currents, tubulence and sinking velocity are tracked by the Euler-lagrange method. Calculated sedimentation patters of riverine material are highly similat to the observed ones.

Interactive Education of Introductory Engineering via Multimedia (멀티미디어를 이용한 인터액티브 공학개론 교육)

  • We introduce an introductory engineering education course for engineering majors and non-engineering majors. This course does not require any previous knowledge and experience on engineering. It requires strong curiosities and imaginations on current and future society we live in, where technology is inseparable ingredient. Course encourages attendees to explore fundamental issues of engineering: what is proper technology and what are proper ways of exercising engineering, issues dealt in soft engineering. Since course topics cover many aspects of technology, traditional learning methods fail to be successful and efficient. Various efficient learning methods have been proposed and implemented. We utilize various interactive tangible media, which include simulated thought experiments and physical media experiences. About twenty (20) episodes in short film format are produced based on scenario written according to related issues selected. Physical media like interactive robots are introduced for attendees' stimulated experiences. We summarize our exciting experiments on interactive teaching experiences at Pusan National University which include on/off-line interactions, assignments, projects, and evaluations.

Theoretical Study of Scientific Symmetry and Its Implications for Science Education (과학적 대칭성에 대한 이론적 고찰 및 과학교육에의 함의)

  • This study aims to provide a theoretical examination of symmetry and its implications for science education. For this purpose, first, we examined the way of thinking of Western science in general through ancient Greek scholars. Second, we divided the perception of symmetry into ancient and modern times. Third, we draw out the implications for science education. The results of this study show that, first, the way of thinking in Western science is 'abstraction', which began with Parmenides and was established by Plato. Second, the ancient perception of symmetry is symmetry as beautiful proportions and harmony based on abstraction, and the modern perception of symmetry is symmetry as an invariant perspective based on abstraction that seeks to find constancy in change. We examined Eratosthenes' experiment to measure the circumference of the earth as an example of ancient symmetry, and Galilean relativity or transformation as examples of modern symmetry. Third, the implications for science education are as follows. Awareness of symmetry can help educate students about the nature of science, as it is a central theme that runs through ancient and modern science. Second, the Eratosthenes' experiment and Galilean relativity or transformations are not represented in the 2022 revised curriculum, but could support understanding of science and key competencies and concepts. Finally, an integrated approach to science education centered on symmetry can have a positive impact on scientific attitudes and interest.

Stephen Sondheim's Experiments and Strategies for Musical Fusion Style (스티븐 손드하임의 뮤지컬 융합 양식을 향한 실험과 전략)

  • This paper aims to identify the characteristics implied in the process of change of Stephen Sondheim's musical style and to derive the structural communication tools that connect the creator and audience and the implications. The strategies that appear in Sondheim's musical works are the following. First, Sondheim's early musical works follow the principles of book musical and emphasize the integration faithful to the basic elements such as the rhythm and meaning of the lyrics. Second, in the era of early postmodernism, Sondheim attempts the principle of extreme deconstruction through the concept musical Company and pursues rational thought through fragmented dramatic flow. Third, while maintaining dramatic linearity to overcome the lack of immersion caused by extreme deconstruction, Sondheim realizes a more elaborate and formalized fusion style of the principles of integration and deconstruction through the choruses and the songs of the characters in Little Night Music and Sweeney Todd. Finally, Sondheim attempts multiple experiments to break down the boundaries of act and scene and to express new subject matters through his works such as Sunday Park with George and Into the Woods. In conclusion, Sondheim's fusion experiments and strategies are the process of finding a framework and a medium of communication to induce dramatic immersion of audience and at the same time create rational thinking about social problems to deliver the message of the creative work with the leading aesthetics of the modern musical's box-office success.

Evaluation and Diagnosis of Traffic Simulation Results using a Rule-Based System (규칙기반시스템을 이용한 교통류 시뮬레이션 평가 및 진단)

  • 도심지에서 자주 발생되는 교통체증의 문제를 효과적으로 해결하기 위해서는 교통 상황을 신속하고 정확하게 진단하며, 이를 바탕으로 최대한의 효율을 얻을 수 있도록 교통 신호체계를 수립하는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 '병렬기반 미시적 교통류 시뮬레이션 시스템'을 활용하여 교통상황을 정확하게 모델링한 결과정보를 추출하고, 이를 바탕으로 교통상황을 종합적으로 진단할 수 있는 '교통류 시뮬레이션 평가 및 진단 시스템'을 제시한다. 교통상황에 대한 시뮬레이션 결과정보를 쉽게 분석할 수 있는 교통류 시뮬레이션 평가 및 진단 시스템을 개발하기 위하여, 교통상황의 해석에 필요한 제반 문제와 원인들의 인과관계를 파악하여 규칙화하고, 이를 바탕으로 규칙 기반추론 기법을 적용할 수 있도록 전문가시스템을 도입하였다. 또한 효율적인 진단을 위하여 시뮬레이션 결과정보로부터 구한 정량적인 각종 평가 지표를 정성적인 측면에서 재평가하여 사유할 수 있도록 fuzzy 기술을 도입하였다. 아울러 교통류 시뮬레이션 평가 및 진단 시스템의 결과는 최적의 신호체계를 수립하는데 활용될 수 있도록 하였다. 서울광역시 과천 주변의 8 개 교차로를 포함하는 교통망에 대한 교통정보를 바탕으로 실험해 봄으로써 사용자가 복잡한 교통망에 대해 보다 효과적으로 교통흐름을 분석하여 정체원인을 실시간으로 판단할 수 있는 가능성을 보여준다.
