As the innovative IT are being developed and applied in the e-business environment, firms are recognizing the fact that amount of customer information is providing care competitive edge. However, sensitive privacy information are abused and misused, and it is affecting the firms to require appropriate measures to protect privacy information and implement security techniques to safeguard carparate resources. This research analyzes the threat of privacy information exposure in the e-business environment, suggest the IPM-Trusted Privacy Policy Model in order to resolve the related problem, and examines 4 key mechanisms (CAM, SPM, RBAC Controller, OCM) focused on privacy protection. The model is analyzed and designed to enable access management and control by assigning user access rights based on privacy information policy and procedures in the e-business environment. Further, this research suggests practical use areas by applying TPM to CRM in e-business environment.

With the explosive growth of mobile products industry, tons of newer versions of products are putting on the market. From the marketer's perspective, understanding consumers' replacement purchases, especially the replacement timing, is essential to product planning and selling. This study presents an approach to finding out factors influencing the timing of buyers' replacement purchases of cell phones, using duration analysis; a hazard function specification is applied to describe consumers' replacement timing decision. Based on the data collected from a mobile telecommunication company, five categories of factors have been inspected. These are consumer's innovative service usage, data service usage, voice service usage, participation in loyalty programs, and the demographic characteristics. The results of the study are as follows. Firstly, the positive coefficient of 'the number of related services used' suggests that the consumers who have more usage knowledge tend to replace faster. Secondly, customers participating in the membership service are positively associated with early replacement purchases. Lastly, younger customers(vs. older) and male(vs. female) customers turned out to replace cell phones earlier.
Labor contracts appear in form as an exchange relationship between labor products and wages, but since they transcend the level of simple barter, they can be economically identified as "trading" and can be identified as "rental." From a legal point of view, a legal device that legally supports and imposes binding force on commodity exchange relations is a contract. Such a labor contract led to a relationship in which wages were received and a certain amount of time was placed under the direction and supervision of the employer as a counter benefit to the receipt of wages. Since working hours are subordinate hours with one's labor under the disposition authority of the employer, long hours of work can be done for the health and safety of workers and furthermore, it can be an act that violates the value to enjoy as a human being. The reduction of working hours needs to be shortened in terms of productivity and enjoyment of workers' culture so that they can expand and reproduce, but users' corporate management labor and production activities should also be compatible compared to those pursued by capitalist countries. Working hours can be seen as individual time and time in society as a whole, and long hours of work at the individual level are reduced, which is undesirable at the individual level, but an increase in products due to an increase in production time at the social level can help social development. It is necessary to consider working hours in terms of finding the balance between these individual and social levels. If the regulation method of working hours was to regulate the total amount of working hours, flexibility and elasticity of working hours are a qualitative regulation method that allows companies to flexibly allocate and organize working hours within a certain range of up to 52 hours per week. Accordingly, it is necessary to shorten working hours, but expand and implement the flexible working hours system according to the situation of the company. The spread of non-face-to-face culture due to COVID-19 led to innovation in untact services and the increase of non-face-to-face communication through video conference platforms. However, it is difficult to identify nonverbal expressions in synchronous online communication. Moreover, it is hard to interact with people by making eye contact. Despite the positive effects of eye contact, including such as sharing emotions and helping build intimacy, no research has empirically verified the effectiveness of eye contact in synchronous online communication. Thus, the study verified the effectiveness of eye contact in synchronous online communication. Depending on the context of the communication and whether(or not) there is eye contact, six video treatments were used to measure four dependent variables-Continuance Intention to Use, Performance Expectancy, Interactivity, and Personal Connection. The study shows that the communication with eye contact in all contexts was rated higher than the one without eye contact in all measurement variables. This study will help to provide a better user experience in synchronous online communication by verifying the effectiveness of eye contact in synchronous online communication and proposing the need of technology and the direction of the technological development.
In this paper, we explore the information diffusion mechanism under social network environments by investigating the effect of message characteristics on the volume and speed of retweeting in Twitter, a popular online social media service. To this end, we select eight main keywords (i.e., '무상급식', '반값등록금', '나가수', '평창', '김연아', '박태환', '아이폰', '갤럭시') that have been popular on online social media in recent days. Each keyword represents various social aspects of Korea that recently grab people's attention such as political issues, entertainment, sports celebrities, and the latest digital products, and eventually holds distinctive message characteristics. Analyzing the frequency and velocity of retweeting for each keyword, we find that more than half of the sample messages posted on Twitter contain personal opinions for the certain keyword, but we also find that the tweets which include objective messages with hyperlink are the fastest ones when being retweeted by other followers. In overall, when being retweeted, the group of messages related to the certain keyword present distinctive diffusion patterns and speed according to message characteristics. From academic perspective, the findings in the study broaden our theoretical knowledge of information diffusion mechanism over online social media. For practitioners, the results also provide managerial implications regarding how to strategically utilize online social media for marketing communications with customers.
Recent increases in uncertainty and speed of market change are driving the adoption of new intelligent mobile office systems. Organizational information systems paradigm suggests that a right match between organizational characteristics and the use of technology is critical in producing desired results. Following such perspective this study developed the mobile office system case of Seoul Metropolitan Railway Transit(SMRT) in Korea. SMRT developed the mobile task-supporting environment that help the management of subway lines real-time without the restriction of time and space. They named the system as ST&F(SMRT Talk and Flash). They decided to develop the application systems in-houses they did not want to be overly dependent on external services in future changes and developments of the system. The new practice reduced the time for moving back and forth to 10% of their working time from previous 20%. The time used for paper works and administration chore also reduce to 10% of their working time from previous 30% on the average. The employees could use 80% of their time to concentrate on the completion of assigned task. The effects of this improvement resulted in the heightened efficiency of the use of human resources and the heightened level of railway safety. The case of SMRT shows that the mobile office system can be applied and extended to various business areas such as facility management and maintenance beyond such typical uses as sales and marketing support. Also, The result of case study will be a useful guideline on the construction and using of mobile office system.
Virtual Reality(VR) is a new technology which makes humans communicate with computer. It allows the user to see, hear, feel and interact in a three-dimensional virtual world created graphically. In this paper, we introduced VR into psychotherapy area and developed VR system for the exposure therapy of acrophobia. Acrophobia is an abnormal fear of heights. Medications or cognitive-behavior methods have been mainly used as a treatment. Lately the virtual reality technology has been applied to that kind of anxiety disorders. A virtual environment provides patient with stimuli which arouses phobia, and exposing to that environment makes him having ability to over come the fear. In this study, the elevator stimulator that composed with a position sensor, head mount display, and audio system, is suggested. To illustrate the physiological difference between a person who has a feel of phobia and without phobia, heart rate was measured during experiment. And also measured a person's HR after the virtual reality training. In this study, we demonstrated the subjective effectiveness of virtual reality psychotherapy through the clinical experiment.
Types of innovation can be categorized into simplification, information, automation, and intelligence. Intelligence is the highest level of innovation, and RPA can be seen as one of intelligence. Robotic Process Automation(RPA), a software robot with artificial intelligence, is an example of intelligence that is suited for simple, repetitive, large-scale transaction processing tasks. The RPA, which is already in operation in many companies in Korea, shows what needs to be done to naturally focus on the core tasks in a situation where the need for a strong organizational culture is increasing and the emphasis is on voluntary leadership, strong teamwork and execution, and a professional working culture. The introduction was considered naturally according to the need to find. Robotic Process Automation, or RPA, is a technology that replaces human tasks with the goal of quickly and efficiently handling structural tasks. RPA is implemented through software robots that mimic humans using software such as ERP systems or productivity tools. RPA robots are software installed on a computer and are called robots by the principle of operation. RPA is integrated throughout the IT system through the front end, unlike traditional software that communicates with other IT systems through the back end. In practice, this means that software robots use IT systems in the same way as humans, repeat the correct steps, and respond to events on the computer screen instead of communicating with the system's application programming interface(API). Designing software that mimics humans to communicate with other software can be less intuitive, but there are many advantages to this approach. First, you can integrate RPA with virtually any software you use, regardless of your openness to third-party applications. Many enterprise IT systems are proprietary because they do not have many common APIs, and their ability to communicate with other systems is severely limited, but RPA solves this problem. Second, RPA can be implemented in a very short time. Traditional software development methods, such as enterprise software integration, are relatively time consuming, but RPAs can be implemented in a relatively short period of two to four weeks. Third, automated processes through software robots can be easily modified by system users. While traditional approaches require advanced coding techniques to drastically modify how they work, RPA can be instructed by modifying relatively simple logical statements, or by modifying screen captures or graphical process charts of human-run processes. This makes RPA very versatile and flexible. This RPA is a good example of the application of digital to intelligence(D2I).
