  • 자동차/선박/정보통신기기 등의 각종 제조 산업 분야에서 신제품 개발기간과 비용단축을 위해 제품의 설계/스타일링 단계에서 디자인 및 사용자 사용성/편이성 등에 대해 가상으로 품평하는 기술에 대한 관심이 날로 증가하고 있다. 이상적인 가상 품평 기술은 사용자가 실물에 대한 품평 상황과 동일한 체험을 얻을 수 있도록 해야 한다. 이를 위해서 품평 대상물을 사실적으로 표현할 수 있도록 하는 실사 수준의 고품질 가시화 기술과 사용자가 품평 대상물을 자연스럽게 조작할 수 있는 상호작용 기술이 필요하다. 본 연구는 자동차의 내 외관 디자인 품평을 위한 가상 디자인 품평 시스템의 개발에 관한 것으로, 사실적인 자동차 가시화를 위한 환경 반사, 빛 산란, 범프 매핑등의 고품질 쉐이더 구현 및 저작 기술, 몰입환경에서 품평 작업을 위한 3D GUI 지원, 자동차 각 부품의 사용성/편이성 평가를 위한 운동성 조작 기능, 멀티프로젝션 디스플레이 시스템 및 3 차원 인간 모델, 장갑형 입력장치 지원을 통한 몰입형 가상 품평 환경 구축에 관한 기술 및 구현 방법을 제시하고자 한다.

  • Because development of high speed network, spread of internet, and high quality of computer performance, request and internet about massive multiplayer playing the game, is increasing. In order to experience realistic game play which is one of the most importance factor in massive multiplayer on-line, synchronization is importance matter. We propose synchronized and optimized scheme that combined FSM (Finite State Machine) and event holding method for efficient state synchronization for massive multiplayer on-line, and we show the effectiveness and reliability of our proposed scheme through the implementing and testing of the game server applying on our proposed scheme.

  • In this Paper, we Propose an efficient web-based video learning evaluation system that is tailored to individual student's characteristics through the use of user profile-based information filtering. As a means of giving video-based questions, keyframes are extracted based on the location, size, and color information, and question-making intervals are extracted by means of differences in gray-level histograms as well as time windows. In addition, through a combination of the category-based system and the keyword-based system, questions for examination are given in order to ensure efficient evaluation. Therefore, students can enhance school achievement by making up for weak areas while continuing to identify their areas of interest.

Two stage maintenance policy under non-renewing warranty (비재생보증 하에서의 이단계 보전정책)

  • Recently, an extended warranty of a system following the expiration of the basic warranty is becoming increasingly popular to the user. In this respect, we suggest a two stage maintenance policy under the non-renewing warranty from the user's point of view in this paper. In the first stage, the user has to decide whether or not to purchase the extended warranty period. And, in the second stage, the optimal replacement period following the expiration of the warranty is determined. Under the extended warranty, the failed system is minimally repaired by the manufacturer at no cost to the user. We utilize the expected cost from the user's perspective to determine the optimal two stage maintenance policy. Finally, a few numerical examples are given for illustrative purpose.

Personalization of LBS using Recommender Systems Based on Collaborative Filtering (협업 필터링 기반 추천 시스템을 이용한 LBS의 개인화)

  • While a supply of GPS-enabled smartphone is increased, LBS which is studied and developed for special function is changed to personal solution. In this paper, we propose and implement on personalized method of individual LBS using collaborative filtering-based recommend system. Proposed personalized LBS system recommends contents which is expected to be interest for individual user, by predicting location-based contents within a user's setting radius. To evaluate performance of proposed system, we observed prediction accuracy with various experimental condition using our prototype. As a result, we confirmed that the convergence of collaborative filtering and LBS is effective for personalized LBS.

Development of Recommendation Agents through Web Log Analysis (웹 로그 분석을 이용한 추천 에이전트의 개발)

  • Web logs are the information recorded by a web server when users access the web sites, and due to a speedy rising of internet usage, the worth of their practical use has become increasingly important. Analyzing such logs can use to determine the patterns representing users' navigational behavior in a Web site and restructure a Web site to create a more effective organizational presence. For these applications, the generally used key methods in many studies are association rules and sequential patterns based by Apriori algorithms, which are widely used to extract correlation among patterns. But Apriori inhere inefficiency in computing cost when applied to large databases. In this paper, we develop a new algorithm for mining interesting patterns which is faster than Apriori algorithm and recommendation agents which could provide a system manager with valuable information that are accessed sequentially by many users.

  • Recently many LBS(Location Based Service) systems are issued in mobile computing systems. Spatial-Temporal Moving Sequence Pattern Mining is a new mining method that mines user moving patterns from user moving path histories in a sensor network environment. The frequent pattern mining is related to the items which customers buy. But on the other hand, our mining method concerns users' moving sequence paths. In this paper, we consider the sequence of moving paths so we handle the repetition of moving paths. Also, we consider the duration that user spends on the location. We proposed new Apriori_msp based on the Apriori algorithm and evaluated its performance results.

  • Recently, there is a growing interest in Fintech which is a business based on using IT to provide financial services. At the early stage of diffusion of Fintech, one of the issues raised is the concern for information security. This study examines actual users' information privacy concern and user resistance to Fintech services. We also investigates the effects of social influence and mobile Internet literacy on information privacy concern and user resistance. In particular, this research verifies the interaction effect between regulatory focus and information privacy concern to influence user resistance. Based on the findings, the results of this study provide strategic implications for firms which attempt to reduce user resistance to Fintech services and proliferate Fintech usage.

  • This paper proposes an efficient remote video evaluation system that is matched well with personalized characteristics of students using information filtering based on user profile. For making a question in forms of video, a key frame extraction method based on coordinate, size and color information is proposed. And Question-mating intervals are extracted using gray-level histogram difference and time window. Also, question-making method that combined category-based system with keyword-based system is used for efficient evaluation. Therefore, students can enhance their study achievement through both supplementing their inferior area and preserving their interest area.

  • 컴퓨터 기술의 발달 및 웹의 확산으로 인해 개인이 얻을 수 있는 정보의 양이 증가되었지만, 이로 인해 필요한 관련 정보를 탐색하는 것과 다량의 정보로부터 지식을 창출한다는 것이 어렵게 되었고, 고객 또는 사용자에 대한 학습 과정 및 정보의 개인화 등의 문제가 대두되게 되었다. 이러한 문제들을 해소하기 위해 웹으로부터 정보를 얻을 수 있는 자동화된 툴이 필요하게 되었고, 얻은 정보를 이용하여 웹 사용자들의 패턴을 식별할 수 있는 방법 또한 필요하게 되었다. 이러한 관심은 데이터 마이닝을 온라인에서 적용하고자 하는 노력으로 이어졌고, 현재 데이터 마이닝 기술을 온라인에 적용한 웹 마이닝 기술을 사용하고 있다. 웹 마이닝은 웹의 방대한 양의 자료 및 구조를 좀 더 유용하고, 효율적인 정보로 가공하여 사용자에게 제공할 수 있도록 도와주는 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 웹 마이닝의 전반적인 개념과 분류를 소개한다. 또한, 웹 마이닝의 분류 중 웹 구조 마이닝에 초점을 맞추어 개념 및 웹 구조 마이닝의 대표적인 알고리듬을 소개한다.
