  • 일반적으로 스마트 카드에서의 사용자 인증은 사용자가 제출하는 패스워드나 PIN을 스마트 카드내의 것과 비교하여서 이루어지고 있으며, 카드/리더기 인증은 암호프로토콜을 사용함으로써 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서 제시하고자하는 새로운 프로토콜은 〔9〕에서 제안된 모델을 바탕으로 구현한 것으로 사용자 인증과 스마트 카드 인증을 동시에 수행할 수 있으며 키관리측면에 있어서 효율적이며 오프라인이 가능하다.

  • 웹 서비스에 주로 적용되어 왔던 OAuth 2.0 사용자 인증 기법을 이벤트 기반 IoT 디바이스 데이터 통신 처리에 이용할 수 있도록 확장한다. OAuth 2.0 사용자 인증 기법은 최소화된 인증 절차에 맞추어져 있지만, 이벤트 기반의 IoT 디바이스의 데이터를 응용하기에는 적합하지 않은 실정이다. OAuth 2.0 사용자 인증 기법을 이용하여 이벤트 기반의 IoT 디바이스 데이터 통신으로 동작하기 위한 구성방법, Data Format, 그리고 전송 구조를 제안한다.

  • 위치기반서비스(Location Based Service)는 이동중인 사용자의 위치 정보를 타 정보와 결합해 사용자가 요청, 혹은 필요로 하는 부가적인 응용 서비스를 제공하기 위한 기술을 말한다. 현재의 개인 위주의 서비스에서 국가 전반적인 인프라 차원으로 급속히 확대 발전함에 따라 사용자의 프라이버시(Privacy) 문제나 접근제어와 같은 인증문제가 중요한 이슈로 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 LBS 기업체 동향 및 전반적인 사항을 분석하여 문제점을 도출하고 LBS 프라이버시(Privacy) 보호를 위한 접근제어 문제, 인증 문제 및 키 신규성 확인 기능을 제공하는 타원곡선 기반의 인증 및 키 교환 프로토콜 기술을 제시한다.

  • In the case of the password-based PKI technology, because it protects by using the password which is easy that user memorizes the private key, he has the problem about the password exposure. In addition, in the system of electronic bidding, the illegal use using the authentic certificate of the others increases. Recently, in order to solve this problem, the research about the PKI technology using the biometrics is actively progressed. If the bio information which the user inputs for the bio authentication is converted to the template, the digest access authentication in which the security is strengthened than the existing authentication technology can be built. Therefore, in this paper, we had designed and developed the system of electronic bidding which it uses the most widely used fingerprint information in the biometrics, it stores the user fingerprint information and certificate in the fingerprint security token and can authenticate the user. In case of using the system of electronic bidding of the public key infrastructure using the fingerprint information proposed in this paper the agent bid problem that it uses the certificate of the others in not only user authentication intensification but also system of electronic bidding can be concluded.

  • Recently, the rapid development of network technology has enabled people to use various services on the internet. However, the existing password-based user authentication system used in the internet environment requires a password table, which is a potential security threat as it could be leaked by an insider. To solve this issue, remote user authentication methods that do not require a user password table have been proposed. Regarding remote user authentication using a smart card in particular, various methods have been suggested to reduce expenses and to improve stability and efficiency, but the possibility of impersonation attacks and password-guessing attacks using information saved in a user's smart card still exist. Therefore, this study proposes a remote user authentication method that can safeguard against impersonation attacks and password guessing attacks, by analyzing weak points of conventional methods and creating a smart card's ID and password that are based on the user's ID and password.

User Visit Certification System using Inaudible Frequency

  • In this paper, we propose and test the efficacy of an easy-to-use user location certification system for public places that relies on frequencies outside the audible range for humans. The inaudible frequencies come in signal frequency between 18-20 kHz and are generated by general audio speaker. After an individual's smart device detects the signal frequency, it sends the frequency value, user's personal ID, and user's location to a system server that certifies the user's visit location currently. The system server then saves a user visit record and categorizes it by individual. To show the usefulness of this proposed system, we developed a user visit certification application for smart devices linked to a system server. We then conducted a user visit certification experiment using the proposed system, with the result showing 99.6% accuracy. For a comparison, we then held a user visit certification experiment using a QR code, which confirmed that our proposed system performs better than QR code location certification. This proposed system can thus provide restaurants and other facilities reliable user contact tracing and electronic visitor access lists in the age of COVID-19.

  • User authentication service is an absolutely necessary condition while securely implementing an IT service system. It allows for valid users to securely log-in the system and even to access valid resources from database. For efficiently and securely authenticating users, smart-card has been used as a popular tool because of its convenience and popularity. Furthermore the smart-card can maintain its own power for computation and storage, which makes it easier to be used in all types of authenticating environment that usually needs temporary storage and additional computation for authenticating users and server. First, in 1981, Lamport has designed an authentication service protocol based on user's smart-card. However it has been criticized in aspects of efficiency and security because it uses hash chains and the revealment of server's secret values are not considered. Over the years, many smart-card based authentication service protocol have been designed. Very recently, Xu, Zhu, Feng have suggested a provable and secure smart-card based authentication protocol. In this paper, first, we define all types of attacks in the smart-card based authentication service. According to the defined attacks, however, the protocol by Xu, Zhu, Feng is weak against an attack that an attacker with secret values of server is able to impersonate a valid user without knowing password and secret values of user. An efficient and secure countermeasure is suggested, then the security is analyzed.

Therefore, it is obvious that it is more complicated and important to protect data stored in the sharing storage than general cloud storage, not Collaborative Cloud Storage. this paper proposes a method for user authentication and data protection.

  • 임베디드 미니 웹서버는 일반 웹서버처럼 다수의 사용자 접근을 수용할 수 없다. 하지만 다수의 사용자가 접근해야 하는 임베디드 장비라면 접근 사용자들에 대한 접근 인증과 사용자들의 서비스 관리가 필요하다. 일반 웹서버와 같은 로그인 방법보다 고유한 접근 방식인 RFID를 이용하여 접근 인증을 시도한다. 임베디드 장비에 MP3 플레이어를 구현한 뒤 미니 웹서버를 통해 MP3 플레이어를 제어한다. 이때 제어하는 사용자의 인증을 RFID를 사용하여 고유성을 유지한다.

  • Currently, as the Android platform only supports single-user protection, it needs security solution for multi-users. Specially, it has to protect specific applications which have personal and financial information, and be available to support authority management for contents access. Thus, this paper proposes an integrated user authority manger model for the Android platform. It helps application authority which is capable to divide into three statuses: installation, execution, deletion with the help of information technology.
