Labor shortages are a serious problem for Korea's construction industry. The problem is both quantitative and qualitative. There is a shortage in supply as due to a decrease in the influx of new labor, and existing workers are less productive as they age. The problem will only get worse as more and more major public projects are being planned. Options for increasing the labor supply are somewhat limited, and thus efforts need to be made to adopt new technologies that can improve the productivity and efficiency of field work and their processes. This paper introduces seven innovation technologies that have the best potential to increase productivity and thus reduce the burden of labor shortage problems. These include 1) Substitution by use of robotics and automation, 2) development and applications of Innovative materials to reduce on site field work, 3) increase in productivity through the implementation of Information Technology, 4) improved productivity through the application of modules, and prefabrication, 5) prevention of rework and redesign, 6) diversification of labor by integrating labor skills, and 7) improved productivity by standardizing site processes.

After having changed its corporate brand from LG Fire & Marine Insurance to LIG Non-life Insurance in 2006, LIG Insurance has successfully built the corporate image as the leading insurance financial group by engaging in extensive corporate social responsibility activities. LIG, as 'a partner for sharing precious moments of life', intended to provide customers a new value of an insurance by building up the new corporate brand. It established three values to be shared internally. First was to instill a brand value orientation within the organization. Second, the firm identified the brand's value to be delivered to the customers. Third, they defined the image objective to be communicated to them. Based on these set of objectives, the company designed and implemented an integrated marketing communication(IMC) strategy over several years. The result was a successful transition to the new corporate brand name.

A conventional Design for Safety (DfS), introduced to eliminate potential hazards in the design phase proactively, has encountered persistent challenges, such as perfunctory risk assessments and hazard identifications based on 2D drawings and inefficient workflow processes. This study proposes a BIM-based approach to Design for Safety (DfS) to address the limitations of conventional methods, aiming to enhance efficiency and achieve practical safety management benefits. The proposed workflow process for BIM-based DfS has been refined and validated for on-site applicability through various case studies, including risk assessments during the design phase and field applications for safety management activities during the construction phase. Specifically, the critical process of risk assessment within the DfS methodology has also been transitioned to a BIM-based approach. This BIM-based risk assessment process has been evaluated through case studies, encompassing safety reviews for structural design, construction equipment operation, and construction methodology with sequence in design projects. Additionally, the proposed BIM-based DfS has demonstrated exceptional on-site applicability and efficiency, as validated by the application of a BIM deliverable embedded in DfS information for CDE-based daily activity briefing, VR-based safety training, AR-based mitigation measures inspections, and other safety management activities in the construction phase.

As the consumption of fishery products continues to increase, aquaculture industry has emerged instead of fishing industry facing limitations of fish stock resources. Recently, smart fish farming industry has rapidly developed through convergence with 4th Industrial Revolution technology. Accordingly, it is important to derive a future model of smart fish farming platforms in order to secure the superiority of the aquaculture industry and the technology standard hegemony. In this study, the future direction of smart fish farm platform was derived through the analysis of environment related to politics, economy, society, and technology related to smart fish farming by applying PEST methodology of macro-environment analysis. It is expected that it will help the public and industrial circles in planning and implementing related projects by including the entire process of value chain of aquaculture industry of breeding, production, management and distribution, and by presenting advanced models based on artificial intelligence and digital twin.

Research Institutes of Government has produced various information about research, seminar, recent research trend, and so on. This information flows into project management organization and institute management organization. It is necessary to connect information systems of these organizations and institutes. The existing systems connect with self-defined protocol between the organizations and the institutes or HTML parsing method. but, these methods have many drawback for expanding and changing problem. This paper designs and implements science and technology information connection system using RSS.

The data-driven IT project model has been improved by adding processes such as analysis/design of data structure and channels of data collection/distribution, application of data standard and securing the flexibility in IT convergence devices data configuration on existing informatization project procedure driven by HW and SW function. This model focused on the evaluation of improvement effect which warrants data flexibility of IT convergence device. IT convergence device was divided into sensor and reactor and a situation when new information system is additionally linked to these devices was assumed. The system improvement complexity and index on network environment were estimated and they were compared to existing method.

The purpose of this study was to research the relationship among ethical leadership, sportsmanship, altruism and locus of control of employees in hotel corporations. Ethical leadership is the demonstration of normatively appropriate conduct through personal actions and interpersonal relationships and the promotion of such conduct to followers through two-way communication, reinforcement and decision-making. Ethical leadership is expected to have positive effects on the attitudes and ethical conduct of employees and ultimately evev on business unit or organizational performance. To accomplish this study, it was determined that the analysis derived from a hypothesis and literature reviews and data collected from 241 employees in hotel corporations. The results of empirical analysis showed as follows. First, Perceived ethical leadership has a significant effect on sportsmanship. Second, Perceived ethical leadership has a significant effect on altruism. Third, Locus of control was also found to have moderating effect upon the relationship between ethical leadership and altruism Based on these findings, the implications and limitations of the study were presented including some directions for future studies.

It is true that internet provides consumers with an efficient way to search information with minimal effort and cost, which facilitates better decision making. Especially, previous studies revealed that the online word-of-mouth marketing is widely used as a source of consumers' information seeking and purchase decision making. Even with this importance of the online word-of-mouth communication on internet few researches have systematically addressed the issue. This study investigates the effect of consumers' motives on perceived usefulness of word-of-mouth marketing in online shopping mall contents. The results are as follows: First, choice uncertainty, perceived sacrifice, and social pressure play an important role for perceived usefulness of word-of-mouth marketing. Second, perceived usefulness has directly affected consumers' quality perception. Thus, it is essential for internet companies to find ways to encourage their customers to engage in word-of-mouth communication on their websites.

It is true that SOC facilities, such as dams, need long life cycles since more time has to be invested for the phases of planning, examination, feasibility study, design, contract, construction, and maintenance. This longer life cycle is easily exposed to the risk. And thus, brings additional cost by the delayed project, convenient loss according to the additional run of use, and benefit lose of not to using the facilities. So, the purpose of this study is to try to find a solution to reduce these time consuming problems which could diminish the whole national competition. Hence, this study is to show efficient, systematical project performance and network model by using reciprocal analyses between the construction period and cost based on economical analysis of each phase of life cycles. In addition, on the basis of these outputs, the Fast Track Method is suggested as an alternative solution as a new Approach in Life Cycle's Analysis.

BIM(building information modeling) has been actively applied to construction industries and to maximize its application through the life cycle of structure, various relevant technologies have been proposed. In particular, 4D sequencing management and 5D cost-related management were introduced as an improved version of the design review and interface control by 3D information design. On the other hand, the virtual construction using virtual construction equipment can sophisticatedly handle capacity, dynamic movement, collision boundaries of actual construction machines but it still stays at a low level in a technical sense. In this study, simulation systems based on BIM involving virtual construction equipment have been developed; then it is applied to the actual construction project to evaluate the safety and efficiency of construction equipments. It was confirmed that the simulation systems can be utilized to construct virtual construction site by using an effective 3D library of construction equipment and can plays a key role to secure construction safety and economic feasibility. Specifically, the simulation system are very useful for decision making by construction managers to select the optimum equipment and construction method with a better understanding for safety and cost-saving.
