본 논문에서는 사상체질분류검사 설문지를 이용하여 사상체질을 진단할 때, 진단의 정확도를 향상시키기 위한 사상체질 분류 함수를 개발하기 위하여 퍼지 분류기를 이용한다. 본 연구에서 사용하는 데이터는 9개 한의과대학의 10개 부속한방병원에서 치료를 받은 환자들 중 각 병원의 사상체질전문의로부터 체질진단을 받고 최소한 4주 이상 사상체질 처방을 사용한 후 주 증상이 전반적으로 호전되어 체질이 확인된 환자 1,914명을 대상으로 하고 있다. 본 연구는 사상체질의학의 광제설을 토대로 환자의 성별을 분리 하였을 뿐만 아니라, 비만도를 추가적으로 분류하였으며, 체형기상, 용모사기, 성질재간, 병증약리 중 체형기상을 토대로 분류하였으며, 사상체질을 판별할 수 있도록 설계되고 구현되었다.

본 논문에서는 우즈베케스탄 사람을 대상으로 한국의학에서 사용되고 있는 사상체질진단법을 적용하여 실험하였으며, 먼저 설문조사방법으로 체질을 진단하는 QSCC II(Questionnaire for Sasang Constitution Classification II)라는 진단기구와 음성분석으로 체질을 진단하는 PSSC(Phonetic System of Sasang Constitution)를 사용하여 체질을 진단한 후, 한국인과 마찬가지로 우즈베키스탄인들에게도 적용이 가능한지를 살펴보았다. 실험결과 우즈베키스탄인도 사상체질로 분류됨을 보았다.

예방 의학에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있는 현대 생활에서 사상체질 진단을 통한 건강 유지는 누구나 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 방법 중에 하나이며, 이를 위해 사상의학(四象醫學)적 이론이 많이 사용되고 있다. 그러나, 사상의학에서 사상체질 진단 및 분류는 매우 중요한 과제로서 많은 학자들에 의해 연구되고 있으나 지금까지 객관적으로 인정된 방법이나 기술은 없다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 외형적 특징을 통한 사상 체질 분류를 연구하기 위한 목적으로 안면부의 형태학적인 특징을 도출하였다. 즉, 안면 영상에서 눈과 입을 추출하여 결과 영상과 사상체질 간의 상관성을 규명하기 위하여 안면 영상의 형태학적 분석을 이용한 사상체질의 판별을 시도하였다. 특히, 한방의 망진(望診) 방법에 근거하여 사상체질을 객관적으로 진단, 분류하기 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 최종적으로 실험에 의해 제안한 방법의 유용성을 입증하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study was to find out the body shape characteristics of each Sasang constitution typology. The constitution type of the subjects was determined by Sasang Constitution Analysis Tool(SCAT) and a Sasang specialist. The body circumference of the subjects and their respective proportions were analyzed. Concordance rates between SCAT and the specialist were 33.0% and 41.5% for men and women, respectively, and Soyangin had the lowest concordance rate. Forehead/neck, chest/iliac, rib/iliac, and rib/curvature circumference ratios of female subjects showed the same results in both SCAT and the specialist. In determining the constitution type, it was confirmed that the ratio between specific circumferences can be a more meaningful criterion than the circumference.

우리나라만의 독창적인 의료체계인 사상체질은 의학적 본질의 우수성에도 불구하고 크게 대중화 되지 않았으며 인지도 또한 높지 못하다. 이는 사상체질에서 가장 중요한 부분이 사상체질의 정확한 분류인데 현재 임상현장에서 행해지고 있는 사상체질 분류 방식은 임상의의 경험과 주관적 소견에 의해 분류되고 있기 때문에 진단 결과에 객관성이 없고 정확도가 낮게 평가되고 있는 실정이다. 이를 위해 사상체질 진단 방법 중 하나인 용모사기론을 IT공학의 영상처리에 적용하여 안면 영상 분석을 통해 사상체질 분류를 수행하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 사상의학적 원전과 기존의 방법들을 조사, 연구하여 사상체질 분류의 중요한 요소를 결정하고 시스템 구현을 목표로 실험을 통해 사상체질 분류의 유의성을 갖는 측정 요소에 대해 검증해 보고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to find a classification method with high accuracy in regard with sasang constitutional diagnosis. The BMI, blood pressure, pulse wave, and Sasang constitution diagnosed by a specialist was collected from 2848 subjects who were apparently healthy. Through a selective procedure, the data of 1635 subjects was used in the analysis. The results with the classification methods such as the discriminant analysis, regression, decision tree and neural network were compared with the diagnosis of a Sasang constitutional specialist. In result, the discriminant analysis method was hard to qualify the assumption of the equality of covariance matrices within constitutional groups. Moreover, without BMI, the decision tree and neural network methods were very sensitive to the change of the analysis data. Therefore, the Logistic regression and the decision tree is recommended on condition that the decisive factors of constitution are well concerned.

The problem lies in Sasang-constitution-medicine is a subjectiveness of diagnosis that the result of diagnosis varies according to the doctors. In order to supplement to this demerit, multiple approach has done to diagnose objectively. This study has focused on evaluating the effectiveness and accuracy of the questionnaire which considered as a basic data to indentify constitution. By analysing the tendency of the respondents who has defined constitution by clinical diagnosis and comparing of their answers, the result of their constitution analysis by our questionnaire were re-examed. The answer of each question to each constitution were tested how it is relevent to a scale of a constitution. As a result, we have found that there is limitation to find out constitution by the questionnaire we used, one we hope that suitable questionnaire will be developed for the research in the future.

In this thesis, in order to develop a new classification model of Sasang Constitutional medical types, which is helpful for improving the accuracy of diagnosis of medical types. various data-mining classification models such as discriminant analysis. decision trees analysis, neural networks analysis, logistics regression analysis, clustering analysis which are main classification methods were applied to the questionnaires of medical type classification. In this manner, a model which scientifically classifies constitutional medical types in the field of Sasang Constitutional Medicine, one of a traditional Korean medicine, has been developed. Also, the above-mentioned analysis models were systematically compared and analyzed. In this study, a classification of Sasang constitutional medical types was developed based on the discriminate analysis model and decision trees analysis model of which accuracy is relatively high, of which analysis procedure is easy to understand and to explain and which are easy to implement. Also, a diagnosis system of Sasang constitution was implemented applying the two analysis models.
