이 글은 최근 인지언어학에서 기본적인 핵심이론 중의 하나로 자리잡고 있는 '정신공간 이론'(mental space theory)에 대한 이론적인 소개와 함께 의미구성에 있어서 중요한 개념의 하나인 '사상'(mappings)의 문제를 다루고자 한다. 1994년 이후 Fauconnier와 Fauconnier & Turner 등을 중심으로 진행되어 오고 있는 정신공간 이론에서는, 언어의 의미를 궁극적으로 인지적 공간들 사이의 상호관계가 언어로 '투사'(projection)된 것으로 간주한다. 그리고 기존의 근원영역과 목표영역 사이의 직접적이고 체계적인 사상, 이른바 '두 영역 모델'의 대안으로 '다공간 모델'을 제시하고 있다. 다공간 모델 속에는 '포괄공간'(generic space)과 '혼합공간'(blending space)이 설정되는데, 그 중에서 포괄공간은 근원공간과 목표공간의 모든 개념이나 추상적인 도식 등이 반영되어 있는 반면, 혼합공간은 실제의 다양한 개념적 혼합의 결과로 나타나며, 입력된 공간에서 나타나는 상응되는 부분들 사이의 연결을 활용하고 발전시키기 때문에 그 자체가 또 다른 혼합공간의 입력공간에서 일어나는 개념적 사상의 양상은 매우 다양할 뿐만 아니라 의미구성에 있어서도 중요한 역할을 한다. 이 글에서는 합성어와 같은 어휘적 측면은 물론, 일상의 문장 표현을 통해 나타나는 개념적 사상의 다양한 양상을 고찰하고자 한다.

동아시아에 위치한 한반도는 여름철에 강우량의 70%가 집중되어 홍수로 인한 피해가 주기적으로 발생한다. 홍수피해를 일으키는 호우는 주로 여름철의 집중호우와 태풍으로 구분할 수 있다. 집중호우는 여름에 우리나라에 한 지역에서 짧은 시간에 많은 양의 강우를 발생시킨다. 태풍은 연평균 3개 정도가 열대 지방에서 발생하여 주기적으로 우리나라를 내습하여 극심한 강우와 강풍으로 큰 피해를 야기시키고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 한반도의 23개 강우관측소에서 관측된 강우자료를 이용하여 태풍과 집중호우로 인해 발생한 호우사상을 구분하여 특성을 비교 분석하였다. 이를 위해 한반도에서 발생한 강우사상을 집중호우와 태풍으로 분류하여 우리나라에 영향을 준기간을 분석하였고 각각의 기간 동안에 발생한 연초과강우량을 구축하였으며 비교분석을 위하여 호우발생원인을 구분하여 연초과강우량을 구축하였다. 분석방법으로는 호우원인 별로 구축된 강우량 자료를 호우사상의 크기와 발생원인에 대한 비교 분석을 수행하였다.

수학적 문제 해결은 수학 교육에서 중요한 이슈이고 문제 해결 전략으로서의 유추를 주제로 본 연구에서는 중학생들을 대상으로 단순히 유사한 문제를 제시하는 것만으로 문제 해결에 성공을 할 수 있는지, 문제 해결에 성공을 할 수 없다면 중학생들에게 어떤 과정을 제시해야만 문제 해결 과정에서 유추를 사용하여 문제를 해결 할 수 있는지를 알아보고자 한다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 유추에 의한 문제 해결과정을 표상 형성, 인출, 사상, 적합성, 스키마 형성의 과정으로 보고, 이러한 과정 중 사상 단계에서 사상 과정의 명료화를 중심으로 학생들의 유추 추론에 의한 문제해결 과정을 탐구하였다. 연구 결과, 유추 추론 과정에서 근거 문제만을 제시하는 것은 목표 문제를 해결하는데 유추 추론의 성공을 보장한다고 할 수 없었으며, 근거 문제가 제시되었는데도 목표 문제를 해결하지 못하는 경우 사상 과정을 명료화하자 목표 문제를 성공적으로 해결하였다. 또한 학생들은 목표 문제의 성공 이후 유사한 새로운 목표문제를 푸는데 성공하였다.

In this paper, we introduce Baldwin's approximate reasoning with fuzzy logic and some truth function mappings usually used in Baldwin's method. And we introduce some assessment criteria for approximate reasonings and we define some truth function mappings which satisfy more criteria than those which are already known.

지구온난화에 따른 기후변화로 인하여 설계빈도를 상회하는 집중호우가 증가하는 추세이며, 불규칙한 강우패턴 및 강우강도의 변화, 그리고 급격한 도시화는 도시지역의 침수피해를 가져오고 있다. 본 연구에서는 극한호우사상에 따른 도심지역 침수분석을 실시하기 위해 서울시 상습침수지역인 강남역 일대를 연구대상유역으로 선정하여 도시유출모형을 구축하였으며, 극한호우사상에 따른 강우시나리오 선정을 위해 기왕최대강우, PMP, 확률강우량을 분석하였다. 또한, 극한호우사상에 따른 도심지역 홍수피해액 산정을 위해 국내외 산정방법에 대해 조사하고, 방법에 따른 피해액 산정결과를 제시하였다.

호우사상의 특성은 기후별, 국가별, 지역별, 계절별로 차이가 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. 강우운동 에너지는 호우사상 특성 중에 하나로서 강우강도와 강우운동에너지의 관계로 규명할 수 있다. 전세계 학자들이 자국의 호우사상을 분석하여 유도한 강우운동에너지식이 보고되고 있음에도 불구하고, 지난 40여 년 동안 전세계적으로 유독 미국의 호우사상으로부터 유도된 강우운동에너지식이 범용성을 가지고 사용되어 왔다. 본 연구는 강우운동에너지에 대한 연구로서 최근까지 학계에 보고된 강우운동에너지식을 수집하여 기후에 따른 해당 지역의 강우운동에너지 특성을 분석하였다. 본 연구는 강우운동에너지식이 유도된 방법과 호우사상에 초점을 맞추었으며, 이를 바탕으로 한국과 유사한 기후에서 유도된 강우운동에너지식과 한국의 강우운동에너지식을 비교 분석하였다.

Objective We report a case about a Soyangin patient with diabetic neuropathy. His symptoms were alleviated with Sasang Constitutional medicine. Methods A Soyangin patient with diabetic neuropathy was treated by herbal medicine, acupuncture, pharmacopuncture according to Sasang Constitutional Medicine. The progress was evaluated with numerical rating scale(NRS) and blood sugar test(BST). Results Sasang Constitutional Medicine seems to be effective for the symtoms of the patient with diabetic neuropathy in this case. Conclusions This case study shows that Sasang Constitutional Medicine may be an effective treatment for Soyangin's diabetic neuropathy.

Objectives This paper was to compare and analyze the contents of 『Dongeuisasang Geumnangbogyeol(東醫四象錦囊寶訣)』 with previously published books on Sasang medicine. Methods 『Dongeuisasang Geumnangbogyeol(東醫四象錦囊寶訣)』 was compared and analyzed with the previously published 『Dongeuisasangsinpyeon(東醫四象新編)』 and 『Dongeuisusebowon(東醫壽世保元)』. Results and Conclusions 『Dongeuisasang Geumnangbogyeol(東醫四象錦囊寶訣)』 is a book related to Sasang medicine, written by the author Park Byeong-Gil in 1961 and published by Haenglim Seowon in 1961. Mainly, the contents of 『Dongeuisasangsinpyeon(東醫四象新編)』 were transcribed, but it is meaningful in that he recorded the body shape of Sasang constitution and the prescriptions he experienced clinically. 18 Taeumin prescriptions, 43 Soeumin prescriptions, and 13 Soyangin prescriptions were recorded, and it could be seen that in the Taeeumin prescriptions, the brain-nervous system disease was recorded, and in Soeumin prescriptions and Soyangin prescriptions, digestive system diseases were mainly recorded.

Mangeum-disease is important syndrome in soyangin's pathology taking urgent diarrhea. In this case study, we diagnose one patient as mangeum-disease. She had a cold before and took a medical treatment with antibiotics. During the treatment she had a diarrhea, palpitation, arrhythmia and edema. We diagnose it as mangeum-disease. So we dose her with hyungbangjihwangtang and we had a good result-all symptoms are disappeared in two months.

Objective To report the improvements with Mihudeungsikjang-tang on taeyangin patient with unexplained nausea and vomiting. Method The 55-year-old woman had severe nausea and vomiting after taking laxatives about 2 months ago. However, endoscopy and other examination findings were unremarkable except for gastritis. Soyangin Dojeokganggi-tang and taeyangin Mihudeungsikjang-tang were applied as a main treatment. Results The symptoms of nausea and vomiting were immediately improved after constipation disappeared applying Mihudeungsikjang-tang. Conclusion This case showed that Mihudeungsikjang-tang according to the appropriate constitutional diagnosis could improve nausea and vomiting which were not improved by other treatments.
