남성 사무직근로자의 심뇌혈관질환 위험요인에 따른 건강행위, 웰니스 상태 및 건강행위변화단계의 관계 (Relationships among Health Behavior, Wellness Condition, and Stage of Change in Health Behavior by Cardiocerebrovascular Risk in Male Office Workers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among health behavior, wellness condition, and stage of change in health behavior by risk of cardiocerebrovascular diseases (CVD) in male office workers. Methods: A total of 205 male office workers participated in the 2017 National Health Examination at a manufacturing/ R&D business in Seongnam and completed self-reported questionnaires. Results: There were significant differences in health behavior scores by risk of CVD (F=4.78, p=.009) and statistically significant differences in no smoking (F=5.86, p=.003), exercise (F=5.49, p=.005), and health checkup (F=4.39, p=.014). There were statistically significant differences in health behavior (t=-4.14, p<.001) and wellness condition (t=-2.61, p=.010) by the stage of change in health behavior. Health behavior had a weak positive correlation with wellness condition (r=.36, p<.001). Logistic regression analysis showed that, when adjusted for age and employment period, the probability of becoming attention or risk group was 11% lower for quitting smoking (OR 0.89, 95% CI 0.81~0.97, p=.006) and 18% lower for regular exercise (OR 0.82, 95% CI 0.70~0.95, p=.009). Conclusion: The direction of health management at the workplace should be changed to promote the wellness of all workers, not the management of the disease, and a health promotion program should be continued to emphasize health behaviors such as smoking cessation and regular exercise.

업무용빌딩 소재 사무실의 실내공기질 평가사례

  • 서울, 인천, 광주, 그리고 부산지역의 대형업무용 빌딩 소재 36개 사무실을 대상으로 사무직 근로자의 실내환경에 대한 인식, 신체증상경험, 사무실환경관련 태도를 알기위한 설문조사와 그리고 실내환경에 영향을 미치는 인자에 대한 실태조사결과 자신이 근무하고 있는 사무실 환경에 대해 만족하지 못한 근로자들이 많았으며, 신체이상 증상 경험유무에 있어서도 빌딩증후군 관련 증상을 경험한 사람이 많은 것으로 조사되었다. 실내환경질에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 평가에 있어서도 겨울철 경우 실내의 상대습도가 매우 낮아 불편감을 초래하고 있는 것으로 조사되었고, 실내공기 오염의 지표물질인 이산화탄소 농도에 있어서도 최고치 농도가 1,000ppm을 초과하는 사무실이 33.3%인 12개 사무실로 나타나 실내환기에 있어 문제가 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 대부분의 실내공조설비는 주로 온도조절 즉 냉${\cdot}$난방 조절목적으로 주로 이용하고 있는 것으로 나타나 신선외기공급을 통한 실내환기 개념에 있어서는 인식이 낮은 것으로 평가 되었다.

일 지역 사무직 근로자의 생활습관과 골밀도 영향요인 (Lifestyles and Factors Influencing the Bone Mineral Density (BMD) among Employees in a Community)

  • Purpose: This study was to investigate lifestyles and identify factors influencing the bone mineral density (BMD) among employees in a community. Methods: Data were collected from 199 employees. Their lifestyles and BMIs were measured with a self-report questionnaire. As for their BMDs, their calcanei were measured with Quantitative Ultrasound. Results: Assessing their BMDs with reference to the WHO standards, 52.8% of the subjects' calcaneus BMDs were normal and 44.2% showed osteopenis, 3.0% showed osteoporosis. Age (odds ratio=1.05, p=.029), exercise (odds ratio=.31, p=.006) and the number of eating meals per day (odds ratio=1.97, p=.046) were significant factors influencing the subjects' BMDs. Conclusion: Strategies to emphasize exercise and dietary habits in employees are important for improving their bone mineral density. Programs for improving bone mineral density based on life cycle need to be developed.

남성 사무직 근로자의 예방적 건강행위에 관련된 요인 분석 (A Study on Factors Related to the Preventive Health Behavior of Male Office Workers)

  • This study was conducted to detect the factors related to preventive health behavior of male office workers. 135 questionnaires were collected from April 20 to May 8, 1997. The collected data were analysed by using the statistic package of $SPSS/PC^+$. The significant results are as follows; 1. The most influencial factors of preventive health behavior were age, duration of marriage, job satisfaction and health perception. 2. The better preventive health behavior they practiced, the better health status and the lower health risk they showed. 3. We can classifiy preventive health behavior as two groups one is directive and the other is indirective with respect to the exposure of risks.

셀프모니터링 실시 빈도의 차이가 사무직 근로자의 올바른 앉은 자세에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Different Frequencies of Self-Monitoring on Safe Sitting Postures)

  • This study compared the effects of different frequencies of self-monitoring on safe sitting postures. Participants were four office workers. The dependent variable was the safety percentage for four body positions. The independent variable was self-monitoring frequency: high and low self-monitoring frequencies. Results showed that the safety percentage increased when self-monitoring was introduced. However, the effects of the two different self-monitoring frequencies on safe performance were not statistically different.

중년 사무직 근로자의 자기주도형 여가활동 경험 (Experiences in Self-leading Leisure Activities of Middle-aged Office Workers)

  • This study was to describe the process on experiences of self-leading leisure activities and develop a substantive theory that explains lifestyle in middle-aged office workers. The participants were 12 persons who had participated in self-leading leisure activities. Data were collected with in-depth interviews and analyzed by grounded theory in Strauss and Corbin. Through analyzing process, 28 concepts, 14 subcategories, and seven categories were deduced. The periods of process were divided four stages, plateau, the phage of recognition in social duties, the phage of strengthen in competency, and the phage of reconstruct in successful lifestyle. The core category, 'disclosing of self-esteem' incorporated the relationship between and among all categories and explained the process. The findings indicate that self-leading leisure activities helped to their own health and developed their social activities. Therefore, we would consider in developing health promotion program about favoring leisure activities factors for the middle age office worker.

부산지역 산업체 남성 근로자의 영양교육에 대한 요구도 분석 (Assessment of Need for Nutritional Education in Male Workers Living in Busan)

  • 본 연구는 부산지역 산업체 5곳에 근무하는 남성 근로자들 310명을 대상으로 영양교육의 필요성에 대한 요구도를 파악함으로써 직장인들의 영양개선 및 바람직한 식생활을 유도할 수 있는 산업체 영양교육을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 시도되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 영양교육 경험이 있는 근로자는 11.9%이었고 영양정보를 얻는 경로는 58.1%가 대중매체이었다. 연령별 차이에서 50대 이상의 91.7%가 영양정보를 대중매체를 통해서, 20대와 30대는 각각 42.9%, 46.9%가 인터넷을 통해서 얻었으며 유의적 차이(P<0.001)를 보였다. 영양교육 필요성에 대한 평균 인식 점수는 3.65/5.00점이었고 연령별 차이에서는 30대는 3.60/5.00점, 40대는 3.53/5.00점이었으며, 학력에 따라 전문대졸이 3.67/5.00점으로 고졸, 대졸보다 높았으나 유의적인 차이는 없었다. 조사 대상 근로자들이 받기 원하는 영양교육 내용은 '균형 잡힌 식습관'(4.00/5.00점), '식품 안전성' 3.96/5.00점, '질환과 관련된 식사요법' 3.94/5.00점이었으나 '외식과 건강'은 3.30/5.00점, '건강보조식품'은 3.27/5.00점 이었다. '알코올과 건강'에 대한 영양교육의 필요성은 사무직이 생산직보다 필요성 점수가 유의적(P<0.01)으로 높았고, 전문대졸과 대졸 이상이 고졸보다 유의적(P<0.01)으로 높게 나타났다. 적당한 영양교육 횟수는 6개월에 한 번 29.0%, 일 년에 한 번 25.8%, 3개월에 한 번은 21.0%이었다. 이상의 결과를 통해 산업체 근로자를 대상으로 영양교육을 실시할 때에는 근로자들의 특성을 고려하여 다양한 방법의 영양교육이 실시되어야 할 것이다. 그러나 근로자들의 영양교육에 대한 필요성 인식이 그리 높지 않기 때문에 이들의 영양과 건강에 대한 인식의 전환과 함께 근로자들의 영양개선 및 바람직한 식생활 유도를 이끄는 영양교육이 근로자의 건강 유지를 위해 반드시 시행되어야 할 것이다.

담배 가격인상이 흡연률과 흡연귀속사망에 미칠 영향에 대한 연구 -대도시 일부 사무직 근로자를 대상으로- (A Study on The Effect of The Tobacco Price Raise on The Smoking Rate and Smoking Attributable Death)

  • 본 연구에서는 대도시 일부 사무직 근로자를 대상으로 흡연에 관한 설문조사를 통해 흡연률, 과거흡연률, 가격변동시 예상흡연률과 그에 따른 흡연의 귀속 사망수 감소 기대수를 조사, 분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같았다. 1. 대도시 지역 남성 사무직 근로자의 흡연률은 59.5%였고 과거흡연률은 28.8%였으며, 과거흡연자를 제외하고 흡연률을 산출할 경우 흡연률은 67.4%였다. 2. 남성흡연자중 담배의 가격과 무관하게 금연할 의사가 있다고 응답한 사람의 분율은 55.3%였고, 담배의 가격이 4배 이상 인상될 경우 금연하겠다고 응답한 사람의 분율은 61.5%로서 반수 이상의 흡연자가 금연하겠다는 의사를 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 3. 남성 흡연자의 흡연시작연령은 반수 이상(62.3%) 만 20세 미만으로, 미성년자 시기에 흡연을 시작하는 경우가 많았다. 4. 담배의 가격인상폭을 크게 할수록 금연 의사가 있는 사람의 비율이 늘어서, 4배이상 가격을 인상할 경우 예상 흡연률이 26.7%였다. 매년 20%씩 담배의 가격이 오를 경우 예상 흡연률은 46.2%였다. 5. 남성을 대상으로 흡연과 관련이 깊은 주요 8개 질환군(폐암, 위암, 췌장암, 후두암, 식도암, 뇌혈관질환, 허헐성심질환, 만성폐쇄성폐질환)의 귀속위험을 추산한 결과 매년 25,863명이 흡연에 기인해서 사망하는 것으로 추산되었다. 이는 20세 이상 총 남성 사인 분류가능 사망수 128,875명의 20.1%이다. 6. 담배의 가격인상시 기대되는 흡연률을 적용하여 계산한 결과 담뱃값을 4배 이상 올렸을 때 금연 실천률을 100%로 가정했을 때 귀속위험은 13,527명으로서 매년 홉연으로 인한 사망의 47.7%인 12,336명의 사망을 줄일 수 있는 것으로 추산되었다. 7. 담배의 가격인상시 금연하도록 동기부여가 되는 사람중에서 실제로 금연하는 사람의 비율을 10%, 25%, 50%로 가정했을 때, 기대 사망수 감소는 가격을 4배 이상 인상했을 때 각각 1,112명, 3,483명, 5,796명 이었다.

사무직 근로자의 역할 관련 스트레스 요인과 대처전략, 스트레스 반응간의 관계 (The Relationships of Role-Conflict and Role-Overload, Coping Strategies, and Stress Response of Clerical Workers)

  • This study was designed to identify the relationships of role-conflict and role-overload, coping strategies, and stress response of clerical workers. The subjects were 115 clerical workers from two company. The instruments were the role-conflict and role-overload scale developed by Lee(1989), coping scale developed by Latack(1986), and the stress response scale developed by Chang(1993). Analysis of data was done by descriptive statistics, Cronbach's $\alpha$, Pearson correlation coefficietnt, ANOVA. The results of this study were summarized as follows ; 1. The average score for the level of stress response was $83.6({\pm}9.1)$. The high risk stress group was 86.1% of the clerical workers, the latent stress group members was 13.9%, and healthy group was 0%. The overall stress level was very high. 2. Considering the coping strategies by sociodemographic factors, the use of control coping strategies showed significant differences by work-time. The use of symptom management coping strategies showed significant differences by sex, age, married status, year of career, pay, and type of work. The organizational coping strategies showed significant differences by year of education and type of work. 3. The clerical workers who had worked below 44 hours per week complained significantly lower stress response(F=4.942, p<.05). 4. Above 65% of all respondents answered that they needed all of organizational level coping strategies. 5. The role-confilct positively related to escape and organizational level coping strategies(r=.562, r=.495, p<.05). The role-overload didn't related to individual level coping strategies, but positively related to organizational level coping strategies(r=.320, p<.05). 6. The control coping strategies and the escape coping strategies positively related to symptom management, organizational level coping strategies(r=.409, r=.324, r=.316, r=.339, p<.05). 7. The relationship between role-related stress and stress response revealed positive correlation(r=.482, r=.431, p<.05), and the relationship between stress response and control, symptom management coping strategies revealed negative cor-relation(r=-.3204, r=-.3146, p<.05). In conclusion, this study revealed that relationship of role related stress, coping strategies, stress response was statistically significant. The result of this study support that coping strategies vary across situation of stress. Based on survey results, future studies should consider coping strategies in specific stress situation and concept of symptom management coping strategy. Also organizational or training interventions could be developed and initiate to help to increase the use of adaptive coping strategies in light of individual and situational differences.

여성 근로자의 영양섭취 및 건강상태 조사 : 사무직과 납 사업장 근로자의 비교 (Nutritional and Health Status of Women Workers by Working Fields)

  • The objective of this study was to investigate the nutritional and health status of women industrial workers by working fields. One hundred forty eight (105 lead and 43 office) workers were recruited from March 2005 to October 2005. Information on age, education, smoking and drinking status were collected using questionnaire and nutrient intake and diet quality of workers were assessed by average of two-day 24 hr recall method. Biochemical indexes including blood lead level (PbB), indexes for iron status, serum calcium (Ca) and serum lipid profiles were analyzed from fasting venous blood or serum. Results showed that education level of lead workers was lower than that of office workers (p<0.05), but nutrient intake levels were not significantly different by working fields. Overall nutritional status of the subject were good except for calcium, vitamin $B_2$, C and folic acid intakes. PbB of lead workers were significantly higher than that of office workers while mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC) and serum Ca levels were significantly lower in lead workers. MCHC was positively correlated with zinc intake (r=0.166) and serum Ca was positively correlated with vitamin C intake (r=0.179). This study confirms that lead workers need extra care to keep their health and nutritional management especially for the nutrients known to interact with lead. Tailored nutrition education for workers at specific working fields needs to be more focused for the improvement of health status of industrial workers.
